A great walk across a swamp over a boardwalk leading to an old firewatch tower which has been renovated. Highly recommended in the spring in fall when the humidity and temperatures drop a little.

Beautiful place to visit. We took our children and they enjoyed it too! We saw a snake (on the board walk) and a baby alligator. The picnic area was nice. Bathrooms needed cleaning though! A nice place to go for a short outing. We will definitely visit again.

This place is super clean with amazing sights. The tower at the end of the walk provides an incredible view that lets you see across the swamp. If you look closely, you can see wildlife like birds and alligators.

Fun and neat experience! It’s a short hike on a boardwalk to a tower. Lots of vegetation and water. We saw one turtle and that’s about it. I loved the sounds and it was definitely a swampy nature walk. Didn’t see any gators. Kid friendly. Bathrooms and parking nearby and a picnic area.

This is such a great place to get away too and see some wildlife. Its quiet and peaceful, my wife has been really wanting to see a gator in the wild. We have been to Grand Bay 3 times and each time has been a treat. So, load up the family, friends or whoever wants an adventure and head to Grand Bay Wildlife.. My family and I will certainly be back there. Again, go and enjoy some wildlife . Until next time Grand Bay

Nice outdoor place to go for something different to do. At the end of the over the water trail is a very tall watch tower you can climb with great views. Beware, there are a lot of large wasps all around the tower. Ive never personally had any issues being bit but if youre allergic, you might want to avoid the tower. Occasionally I do see snakes on the swamp trail but never had any issues with them.

Its a nice place to spot alligators. My boyfriend found 5 cute baby gators while on our walk right next to the dock! At the end of the boardwalk is the wooden observation tower and you can see pretty far when you go to the top. You can see things from up there that are hidden in the tall grass when your on the boardwalk. We spotted a huge alligator sunbathing while we up there! Great place to take the kids just watch out for giant spiders!!

My son, La Quie, died here. He was about 8 years old when we went onto the boardwalk. We noticed some strange creaking in the floorboards, but my kid was going so fast I brushed it off. As the tower came into view my son ran even faster towards it. He ran towards the edge and admired all the fish in the water. I saw a alligator head popping out of the water, but before I could act, he bit my sons head off. Down to the bone. I bust down crying and walking to get his corpse. I hoisted it onto my solider and whistled for my horse to come, but sadly, he was out of range. Every time, I said. I began my half a mile back with my sons corpse. I reached into my bag and ate a fully cooked meat meal to refill my stamina core. I saw that the lawman were quickly behind me so I dumped the body into the water and hid. I am currently writing this in the tree.

This is a no frills nature walk. Totally enjoyed it but if you have small children with you, their attention wont hold. Spent an hour and a half walking up and down the walkway and the view from the tower was worth it. Ill be back

Amazing place! You have to have a land pass, hunting or fishing license in order to be anywhere on the premises. Theres a boardwalk with educational postings leading to a watchtower. Also an educational center but Im not sure when its open. Picnic area with plenty of shade. The other side is hunting area and theres a canoe trail . I happened upon a 5 foot gator going through there and saw about 4 nice size does hopping through the woods.

My husband knew about this place, but I did not. It was a very pleasant surprise when he brought me to take a walk here because it was such a nice day. The boardwalk is in good condition, and we enjoyed the outlook from the top of the Kinderlou Tower. I know they offer fishing and hunting here as well, but we arent familiar with that part of the park. I would love to walk here again.
