Cinema Gallery is the finest art gallery in central Illinois that I have been to, with a great collection of works. The curator is a wonderful lady who is not only very knowledgeable about the collection she has, but also about art in general. She takes great care of her customers regardless of their pocket size, and would very patiently walk you through her gallery, answering every question. The fact that she personally knows all the artists represented in her gallery, you not only learn about the art but also the artist and how that work of art came about. Its simply a great experience at Cinema Gallery!

The Cinema Art Gallery is a staple in Downtown Urbana. In addition to walking through periodically and inhaling the beauty, Ive bought numerous things from the gallery that I love! My house and office are adorned with gorgeous painting and I have numerous hand made coffee mugs that I enjoy every morning. Carolyn is a wonderful art curator and lovely to work with. Thank you Cinema!

Ive been going to the Cinema Gallery in downtown Urbana since it opened. I have bought a few pieces over the years and have both taken and sent friends there. The owner is good about showcasing and promoting local artists. The building is a local landmark and worth seeing, too. I give it a two thumbs up!

Love the local art, especially the art glass.

I have been a Cinema Gallery customer for over ten years. Although I may go a year or more between purchases, Carolyn never applies any pressure. I have learned more about art and artists from her than from any other source and she has introduced me to countless talented and wonderful people!

Carolyn has beautiful artwork in her Gallery. The artists she shows are very high quality!!

A special place, the kind I love to discover: carefully selected treasures at a wide range of price points. Worth visiting regularly to see the changing selection!

The range and quality of the artwork on display at the Cinema Gallery always amazes me. Its professionally run, its locally oriented, and it has a global reach.

Wonderful gallery, carrying work by internationally known artists as well as national, regional and local artists. Fine range of offerings from paintings, to prints, to sculpture, to ceramics, to wood, to glass… Work ranges from decorative to abstract, from traditional to avant-garde. Wide range of prices, a great place to look for that special birthday or wedding gift to fit your pocketbook. Located in the foyer of a movie house, hence the name Cinema Gallery -a Champaign-Urbana tradition and wonderful to browse. Did I say convenient parking? Parking garage virtually across the street…

One would be hard pressed to find a gallery with such diversity and quality of art outside of any Midwestern cities, including Chicago.
