Great community. Although its true that a couple of years ago there was a homeless/drug issue in the park(not necessarily the skate park but the actual park), that is no longer the case. The park is much better now with a large diverse community. The park is now completely open and free and with no need for helmets or pads. The only concern is that the park is a bit advanced, so if youre a beginner and its your first time going here, take it easy and get used to the ramps first and look out for other skaters and the flow of the park. The park usually gets a bit crowded around 5pm so if you want peace and quite, come before then. Hopefully that wont be the case in the future since they are thinking of expanding the park with a wide variety of obstacles, ranging from beginner to pro, and everything in between, so that should be perfect. But everyone is really nice and the park has a good vibe to it.
Great skate area for skateboarders. Outside gates inhabited by transients. Unsafe for younger skateboarders to go alone without adult supervision
Good everyone that goes is chill been going there for last 3 years dope just so everyone knows the park is not closed there was just some stuff going on couple months ago with the city but it is open not closed on the days it says is closed always open
This skatepark hella fun now, no rules we all just chill and the community is not toxic.
Difficult to determine if this place is closed permanently or just because I visited during a weekday in winter. Stark contrast to the, Under the Bridge skatepark in San Francisco which is open 9 to 9 year round always packed.
Sick...still got it!
Great skate park!!! Yall should skate their
Lame. I came here and it was dead empty and i skated for a few minutes until a employee came up to me stating you cant be in the park with out full pads and a helmet. No wonder its empty. Why build a huge giant skatepark if youre not going to let anyone skate it.. Also, Im not against helmets if youre skating vert (bowls/pools) you should definitely wear them but in all the time Ive skated flat ground Ive never once hurt my elbow so it kinds of ridicolous I need elbow pads to walk in here and cruise the smooth flat ground over the bumpy street.
They charging $5 a kid plus you need to wear a helmet and full pads to skate.. burn this park down!
If you like to meet city employees with no education, manners or inteligence just ask for James at the skatepark...a real old good racist....and very bad mouthed..
Looks cool but the gate was locked closed
Chill skate park but wask at same time because now you have to ware a helmet!!!
This skate park is never open and we end up having to drive to another city and I dont think thats cool.
Doo doo
This park is badly designed... too steep for the everage skater, doesnt have good flow. The designers must of not had much experience designing. 45 degree ramps makes for rough speedy transitions. The bowl is fun and the only thing its realy got going for it. Not a beginer park at all. Last time i went they had complimentary helmets.. they must have a lot of injuries there
If you like meth you should come here
I give it 4 stars due to the fact that it’s always closed. Closed because Upland PD doesn’t have anything to do. This skatepark was made for eating sh**t and breaking bones. Also called the pipeline a massive vert masterpiece. Not for beginners!!
No signs that theyre closed, take down the open hours sign!
Always closed
U have to pay and have knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet
Very good
It was the best
I lived this place as a kid, show up today it’s closed. So what people be slangin drugs b, I’m trying to skate!
