I have played here several times and absolutely love this course. The first bad experience I had was last weekend. My tee time was pushed back and the course was not able to get a hold of me. I called and spoke with Sal and Harrison, they were very apologetic about the situation and took very good care of me for my next tee time there. I I highly recommend this course for its challenging play. The amazing staff is a bonus.

Booked twighlight last minute. We had some heavy showers throughout the day so I was curious as to how the course would play. Olympia Hills, wow! The course was in great shape! It exceeded my expectations. Shout out to the staff, yall are killing it!
I played there yesterday in the rain and the course looked beautiful. The rain stopped, the fairways are gorgeous, the greens were smooth, ball rolled true. The only problems we had were with getting refreshments. At 7:30 no one was available to sell you bottles of water. On hole eight we called to the snack bar to have food and drink ready at the turn, no one answered the phone. We stopped by the snack bar upstairs, the doors were locked with a note to go to the lower snack bar window, no one was there. I always try to buy water on site to support the course. I will start bringing a backup in my car for the future. Not the first time thus has happened.
Olympia Hills has a chance to be a great course again, but it has a lot of work to do. And its just little things mostly. The one big thing is getting the greens under control. A lot looked like the lunar surface, large black areas that if your ball was in the wrong spot you were in trouble. Check in for large groups has got be quicker. Counter person wasnt very quick and line kept getting longer. Snack bar, stopped in after playing first 6 holes if shotgun start, probably 10am. No ready made sandwiches, hotdogs. Nice lady said we dont do that until 11. But Im hungry at 10!!!(ugh). Positives, spacious driving range, two practice putting greens, decent chipping green. Price is good, pro shop adequate. When we ate after the round food was good. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Several risk reward holes to take chances on. Have seen, over the last 20 years Olympia at its best and worst, right now its somewhere in the middle. The needle swing closer to good than bad. Give it a try yourself, ignore the small problems and have fun
Tee time moved from 910 to 1010, showed up at tee time and everything screwed up. Management does nor know hiw to keep pace of play and schedule proper tee times...stupid!!!
Beautiful course even in TX summer. Challenging holes with awesome elevation changes. Bring extra balls!

Impressed with the quality of the fairways, even the roughs weren’t too bad. Greens moved at a decent speed. Check in was easy, friendly staff.
Overall this is good course and a good value. The greens and fairways were in good shape. Some greens need attention as they were littered with some odd divots that were not made by golf balls, maybe their machinery is causing problems. The service here was good and the range is nice. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is due to the lack of marshaling on the course. For a busy Sunday there was not enough marshaling which resulted in a 5-hour round. A group of 5 ahead two groups ahead of my group were causing major hold ups on all par 3s and even some par 4s. Marshals need to be more present throughout the course to move slow players along. We only saw the marshal at the start and the turn.Otherwise this is a fun and challenging course. There is definitely an advantage to previous experience on the course as there are some blind shots and a lot of opportunities to use the hills to your advantage.Will be back.

I had my wedding at this venue and I cannot recommend this place enough! During the planning stages, Katie was ALWAYS available via email or phone to answer my questions and provide insight as to what past brides did to make their day run smoothly. We were able to make adjustments as needed for catering preferences, guest count, and decorations up until two weeks prior. We selected catering through Olympia Hills and the food was absolutely delicious. They made my husband and myself feel like guests of honor by allowing us to select different plates than our guests. Our wedding day ran smoothly and again it is all thanks to Katie. We were allowed to drop of decorations the night before and begin set up first thing the morning of. Her staff helped set up our homemade decorations and put together our lawn games for the reception. Everything ran timely and if there were any mishaps, I never heard about them because Katie went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Their staff is truly wonderful and it is apparent that they are passionate about making every couple feel special. In addition to the amazing staff, the venue is stunning and we have beautiful sunset pictures on the golf course from our wedding day. I have helped plan other events and weddings and no other venue/staff compares to Olympia Hills.
Highly recommend Olympia Hills facilities for your next event! Our sons wedding ceremony & reception was hosted here in the San Antonio area. Our friends & family very impressed with the facilities and fantastic staff. The natural background surrounded by local wildlife (deer!) was so relaxing and truly set the stage for the wedding ceremony! The food served at the reception was outstanding and well prepared too! Ceremony & reception went flawlessly, as their wedding planner was on top of everything and did not miss a thing!! As parents of the GROOM we could not have asked for anything more....this is the place to go for your next event!!
Staff was friendly. But some of the couse has not been maintained very well IE: sand traps were like hitting off concrete, some tee boxes looked like sand traps and was unable to even get my tee in the ground on quite a few tee boxes. A very interesting and complex couse but dont trust the cart maps, drastically off on portraying emphasis with dog legs and sand traps. I would play there again but only in the twilight hours and pay a reasonable price, not $65 for subpar conditions.

My favorite course in and around the area.
This place is huge! I was only trying to cut through from the creek to my friends neighborhood. Ended up somewhere near a father helping his sons with their putting. Then got lost after climbing a rock wall. I do not recommend to other hikers/carless travers looking for a quick trip. But on the other hand Ive been catered there for my cousins wedding and damn was it fancy w/good service. Had fun that night.
The food are great people are very friendly, i really enjoy going in this place we love it! Specialy when Gary the showman is performing! Very relaxing place take all your stress out & enjoy the Fun! I Really Recommend this place to everybody!
Perfect place to have a wedding!We had the most incredible wedding at Olympia. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was, how well it was organized, how great the food was and how much fun they had. Mallory & Katie are an incredible team who make sure everything is taken care of on your special day. They are also so patient and helpful during the planning process. I know my wedding would not have been anywhere near as perfect as it was without their help. Thank you Olympia for making my day PERFECT!

We recently had our wedding at Olympia Hills and I cannot say enough kind words. The staff, especially Katie and Mallory, were truly outstanding. They made planning a wedding from another state so easy and worked with our parents super well too. Most people get so stressed on their wedding day and I wasn’t in large part due to the staff and how attentive they were. Our wedding was beautiful and we are very grateful that we chose this venue.
I had the best experience working with Mallory at Olympia Hills Golf & Event Center to plan my 40th birthday celebration. Mallory was willing to go the extra mile when it came to helping me figure out fun handcraft cocktails as well as determining food options that werent on their main menu to create the brunch themed event I was planning. Mallory and staff were also super responsive to emails during the planning phase and everything ran very smoothly during the actual event. I highly recommend planning your next event with them!

Beautiful course, really friendly staff, and very reasonable prices, some friends of mine had their wedding here and it was beautiful, very spacious inside, and the food was prepared perfectly.But beware the mosquitoes, im not sure whether to bring Off! Or a saddle for them on my next visit.
Great food and great atmosphere
The course is absolutely beautiful and in great shape all around. Its very tight but other than that not incredibly hard. Only problem is about the 14th hole starts to open up a bit and youre no longer in your own little world. Its incredibly peaceful and quiet up until then. One of the nicest course around for sure regardless.

Course was great today!
My dad and I came and it was not good service at all. The guy working at the pro shop was rude and very prejudice towards us, and made it seem like we didn’t know what we were saying as if we were dumb. The young cart boy was also rude making it seem as if we were dumb and joining in on the conversation when we went to go ask the rude worker at the pro shop. Wasted money and time coming here. I do not recommend this place unless you wanna get judged for your heritage background. Never coming back again.

Olympia has been on my list of courses I like to visit. The course is very challenging. The elevations change frequently on the course and it provides a very good challenge for all golfers of any skill level. The staff is always very accommodating regardless of the time of day that you show up. It is a very good course for anyone that is wanting a challenge and wanting to further their skills. It is one of my preferred courses to play in town when I have the funds to do so.

Went to Thursday night happy hour (5pm)...had a very singer who sang many older tunes. Thought I was at my 50 year class reunion. Lot of fun and good beer to add to it.
This is an awesome place to have wedding receptions! The staff is friendly and helpful. I am a cake decorator/business owner and have delivered wedding cakes here before and the staff has always been helpful in showing me where the client wants their cake. Highly recommend this place!
Great course and excellent staff. Unusually pretty busy, be sure to book a tee time in advance. Their app is nice and the carts have on board GPS that works pretty good to give you a good idea of distances. Lots of wooded areas to lose your balls in when you play like me.
It was the best of times it was the great of times it was summer at the golf course and I will never forget it .
Played here Oct 22 (1st time). This is a must play course and I will definitely make it a regular routine. The staff is very friendly. Excellent practice facility. The course is challenging so bring your A game. You may have to swallow your pride and choose to lay up if you want a good score (I did donate a few balls to the course). Overall the course was in great condition. Without any knowledge of the course, it is even more challenging but they provided a book with an overview of each hole. Very helpful, especially on holes with elevation. So get out there and see what you can do.
Tee boxes had very hard ground, fairways were great, greens were nearly bald in places.

The course is always in great shape when I play out here. This is a great course to practice at. They have a full driving range and a great short game area. They have practice green that you can go back about 50-60 yards and hit at. I enjoy working on my short game here.

Great Course! Very well maintained and very challenging. Greens are spectacular and can change your birdie attempt to a bogey very quickly depending on hole locations. The front 9 is full of elevated tee boxes. Bring plenty of balls if youre a beginner. If you love golf, you have to play here!
Olympia Hills is a beautiful golf course it is absolutely stunning the staff there are pretty friendly actually had a very very good experience with the staff there and the golfers there are not all of them super-friendly some of them are just a little bit too good to talk to you basically and other than that if that doesnt bother you and youre just there to play your golf game then dont worry about what anybody else thinks about you or what they look at you like because youre there to have a good time and play a game of golf and its a great place to go and do that and I thought it was just a beautiful set up and look like a really fun place to be able to play golf at and I had a great time there
Nice difficult course. You have to have an imagination to get to some of the holes. Will play again.
Honestly one of the best in San Antonio. The practice facilty alone is worth checking out. Ive been here 7-8 times and have enjoyed it every time. Creative layout and very well kept. Watch out for holes 6-8. Probably the toughest three hole stretch in the area.
Golf carts are the best part.
Could be a very good track! But, greens were half dead,most bunkers were unplayable (and full of rocks). The good news is...not worth the money and only took 5 1/2 hours to play!
Very nice track good winter conditions.
Fairways are a bit beat up, traps needed attention and we needed to see a Marshall out on this course to manage the pace. 5 hour round was due to some lousy golfers not being pushed along

Went to play golf today and was very disappointed. No Marshall was on site and the group ahead of us were holding up many groups behind them. And if that wasn’tenough, the GPS on the cart wasn’t working. Will have to reconsider playing there again.

Tee time @ 10:30, finally teed of @ 11. Finished 4 holes in 2 hours!!! No marshal on the course, horrible managment. I have this course at 1 star because of the condition of the greens otherwise zero for these posers.
Course is gorgeous and challenging for most golfers. Some of the greens need work though and the pro shop could use some TLC but no one goes to a golf course based on the pro shop. Try it and see what you think
