This hike is just amazing. It can be a tough uphill slog at times, but always with incredible payoffs at the top of every hill. On one side are endless views of the bay and the hills on the west side. Town around and there are rolling green hills as far as you can see. You can make this a long or short hike, easy or hard, but youll most likely love it (so long as you dont mind horses and cows, and the excrement that accompanies them).

This is the parking area for the greater park. See my review of the park for more information on that.As for this parking area, it is fairly small, but able to accommodate all visitors most of the time, and on crowded days, ten minutes is usually the maximum amount of time to wait for a spot to open up.There are also other access points to the park.Nice place to bring dogs. When it is not crowded, they can run around off leash. Nice little landscaped lake. In a very nice neighborhood.

This park is great, but in the Covid-19 era, I wouldnt step foot in this park again. People are not wearing masks, not staying 6 feet away, dogs are off leash everywhere. The majority of people that go to this park simply dont see any danger nor think of other people other than themselves in terms of safety. It was really disappointing. I have a dog and tried to bring my elderly father in hopes of a relaxing walk, and we left stressed out after a man not wearing a mask simply came up to pet my dog and another woman simply would not call back her dogs. I hope we dont get sick.

If you need to get away from the suburbia and have a great time with mother nature, this is the close to home spot. If you have dogs, they will have a great time here as they can be off leash beyond the second gate. Many creeks for them to enjoy

Nice meeting place for a hike. Easy to find. Plenty of parking, but limited shade. Honey pot facilities at parking lot. Maps and doggie bags at trail head but no water. No fee for parking so gets crowded on weekends but there is an overflow parking area.

Currently the road through is pretty bumpy with all the rain this season. There are potholes a food 5-6 inches deep just near the entry. Usually able to find a park which is good and its a great place to.start off some of the longer hikes.

Nice defined wide trails. My dog and I had a great walk here. I had to carry her at several spots due to the trail we went to had a lot of crushed rock which was hard for her tiny paws to walk on. We saw a lot of horse back riders, too!
