They make you sign up for a membership the first time. All fine and dandy, its only a dollar. Come back and that system means nothing. They still card you. Left your ID at home an hour drive away? Too bad. Dont think well be returning to a place that doesnt want business.

Good variety with choice of either low cost or higher quality versions for most items in the store. Atmosphere left something to be desired check-in stall, registration forms and ID checks were very personally intrusive not at all anonymous. Kinda felt like being registered as a sex offender might without the crime...freak profiling if you will. High prices as these things always are...but not much above the average found in adult toy stores.

Their prices are decent/reasonable; typically no more than what you would pay ordering from an online store/vendor (Adam & Eve, Sinclair Institue, etc;)Employees and staff are generally knowledgeable about videos and product. Theres a certain amount of sensitivity that has to go along with working in an adult novelty store, as you are assisting customers in the purchase of very private items/merchandise. Nothing must be considered taboo, and Open Minds does a good job of discouraging that mind-set. Hence the name: Open Minds.. . . I love adult novelty, and I love Open Minds. ;-)

Wow, you have to not only show your i.d. (which is totally understandable) BUT you have to pay for a membership JUST to get in.....pathetic. In wish I was back in Houston.... not only that this is the only sex shop in all Tyler how sad
