Great place to hike or camp! One of the few places that has excellent forest hiking along the Ice Age Trail and good beachfront on Lake Michigan. I highly recommend spending a night or two here to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. The lighthouse is a nice added bonus!

Great camping experience. Our site was a 2 minute walk from the beach. It was one of our favorite Lake Michigan beaches in Wisconsin. Nice that it was sandy in the water instead of rocky. The campsites were private and secluded.

Great park. The concession is now open and has real Cedar Crest ice cream. A variety of trails. Its right on Lake Michigan and there are picnic areas right on the beach. Family tent camps there and loves it. There are also electric sites. Camping is difficult to get in as everyone seems to have taken to camping during Covid. Just wish we could have gotten closer to lighthouse. Overall, great day at the park!

Great camping experience! Our site was quiet and large enough for two tents with a lot of extra room. We loved the beauty of the park although there is no beach, just a few feet of really cool smooth, small rocks. Great concession stand with awesome ice cream. There are many hiking trails we have yet to discover.

We took our kids camping a few weeks ago. The deer flies were absolutely out of control but besides that, nice camping spots and a lot of beachfront on the lake. We especially loved the dog friendly beach so we could bring our dog. My only real issue was having power lines running directly over our campsite, and only because we got caught by a severe thunderstorm in the middle of the night and were pretty concerned a tree could take them out with us right below.

Point Beach is THE place to take your dogs for a great day of swimming and canine interaction. The sand can get hot in the afternoon so keep those paws in mind on your way out.The water and beach are clean and safe and worth the trip to the west shore of Lake Michigan.

Super easy to get to and a very large park. The beach during our visit wasnt at all busy. The sand was warm and the water was, well its Lake Michigan. Very close to Two Rivers for groceries or minor needs. This little frog was hanging out in the bathroom and keep me company in the dark.

I love how cheap camping is at State Parks.. this one is no different. The campground had many many ponds and puddles of standing water. The mosquitos were almost unbearable. Make sure to have candles, torches, bug spray! The sites were shaded nicely. The beach was kind of disappointing due to the small shoreline. Playing in the water on a hot day was fun though!

It was a fun trip all in all, but lack of electricity and service/wifi could be a bit of a bummer at times. Considering the fact that it IS camping, which is an activity where you distance yourself from electronics and such, it was understandable :) The bathrooms were pretty filthy despite signs saying they were cleaned daily. The main bathroom had toilet seats that were sticky and peeling, the same toilets were always clogged, and there was mosquito blood smeared on some stall walls.Overall it was an enjoyable trip! Would reccomend for anybody trying to get away from all thats happening in the world right now !!

I enjoyed the beach areas and had a roomy RV site but the park seems to be neglected? I believe Covid has of course had some impact but there was many roads with very low braches and the pavement of the park roads is on the other side of good. As a whole it seems Wisconsin has lost interest in maintaining their state parks.

Point Beach a gorgeous gem of the Two Rivers/Manitowoc area. One can always count on plenty of walking and biking space! Little do many people know, there is a miles-long stretch of beach that is virtually untouched between Neshotah beach and the Rawley Point lighthouse. The beach has a rugged, overgrown feel that reminds a person what nature looks like without people. The Rawley trail through the woods is a fantastic, comfortable biking path! It cuts through field, dunes, woods, and swamp. The lodge by the beach offers plenty of tasty treats, from fried food to ice cream. Camping here is also fairly quiet, but things get exciting in the campground come Halloween trick-or-treating in the fall. In winter, you can find some decent cross country skiing trails too.

The park is beautiful with very good facilities. It has a nice variety of forest hiking trails. Be warned that with the ridge and swale landscapes, the mosquitos in the woods are intense. The beach and lake seem to be pretty bug free. Over all its a very nice forest with great campsites. They sell wood bundles for $5 each. I would suggest bringing a water filter. While they have potable water, its light brown from the iron deposits.

Many more amenities than we expected. There are a few beaches though the first couple dont have much sand they are good for throwing rocks into the lake. The third Beach past the concession area as more sanding is good for playing sunbathing and building sandcastles. The campground itself is spacious and pleasant with mostly flat sites. Although there is standing water the mosquitoes were not bad at all. In the back of the campground is a large play field with some playground equipment. The hiking and biking trails are well groomed. Windroid stopping at the concession for ice cream and snacks in sitting in the picnic areas next to the water.

We came through as part of the Ice Age Trail, and though the beach was almost engulfed in long sections, and the flies were biting through our socks, this was a lovely bit of hiking--both through the woods and along the beach. There were long stretches of raspberries just about to bloom, neon algea ponds, beautiful boardwalks, and twisting pine groves throughout. Indeed, it felt like there was something new around every bend. Come explore!
