Great views and a good hike. The only downside is that the start of the blue loop is so close to a busy road.

Great place to go for a run or just relax and enjoy the scenery. There have been too many bad rumors about Turkey Mountain and people need to realize its not what it used to be. It is really nice and safe and family friendly.

Turkey Mountain is a treasured oasis from the hustle and bustle of Tulsa. Our family enjoys exploring the hiking trails as they twist and turn through the lush forest. Were grateful to those who had the foresight to protect this green gem for future generations.

Turkey Mountain is an awesome and well maintained wilderness in the city. I go here all the time whether for a quick stroll or to get some time with the backpack and preparation. The only disappointment is that River City Parks stopped supporting the Pink Trail and removed it from the maps. That was the best trail but it wasnt their property so they dont support or recognize it. Other than that, a great place to ride or hike.

I love the outdoors and genuinely appreciate it when larger cities invest into more rural activities. Turkey Mountain has been by far the highlight of my trip! It has so many different trails and options. Its great for a run, casual stroll, dog walking, and biking! It also offers great views of the downtown area and the Arkansas river. It really does have anything you could want on it; rocky trails, steep inclines, smooth walking, easy trails, I mean everything! You can spend as little or as much time as you want and it has clear markers on the trails to help you stay on track. If I lived here, it would be where I spent every Saturday!

I have been hiking here regularly for a few years now. I love it. There are many easy, well marked paths for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Some trails are less traveled, sketchier and not as well marked. I prefer those as when I hike I try to avoid mad crowds of screaming children and slow moving elderly folks. I hike for some peace and primarily for fitness. If you go now, be prepared to get muddy and be very careful moving fast. There is mud, water and rocks on the trails I utilize. If you hike with a four legged buddy, be sure you either dont mind the muddy wet mess in the back of your car or truck or bring something to cover the back or to dry them with. My buddy gets wet and muddy every time we have gone this year.

If you love nature like me, this is the best park in the area! I visited the first time on my birthday in April and it had rained the day before. No worries they have a cement pathway perfect when the ground was muddy. I was still able to enjoy the rest of my morning walking around without getting muddy.

It was pretty well maintained. I saw very little trash laying around considering the size of the trails, the trails were obvious and plainly layed out the map and easy to navigate. When you go, Do take a picture of map cause I only found one at the very beginning. Trails had lots of different views(I personally like the cliffs on the south side of hill). I’m very pleased that they allow dogs and bikes I will be returning to do more.

After living here 10 years and riding the trails almost every week, it is sad to see how pitiful they have become. No maintenance, no upkeep, no enforcement of altering the trails, after 3 years of heavy spring rains, they are now just rocks, roots and ruts.....terrible commentary on the support form the city and the parks department.....we ride trail systems all over the US and this one is by far the worst for mountain biking we have encountered. Parks department should be ashamed for taking home a paycheck.....

Terrible, barely marked trails.Seriously? Who labeled/marked these trails? They should be lobotomized so we can see what retardation of the brain physically looks like. You pretty much just have two trails: Yellow and Blue. Both trails loop-de-loop and figure 8 through each other. You can see a sign for the Yellow trail that points one direction, but at the same time turn around and walk 30 yards and youll find another Yellow trail sign pointing the opposite direction. These signs give you literally ZERO useful information when youre trying to find your way back.
