Sc1st time there. Seen Leon Bridges. Best concert I have seen in a long time. LB was very entertaining and engaging with audience. The theater is small compared to larger concerts which we loved. And ladies I never had to wait for restroom. Plenty of stalls. Will definitely visit venue again. Leon Bridges your music is amazing and so soothing to the soul. Old school soul this is for you.
I really love the Brady. I always look to see whos coming because I want to go visit there anytime I can. Its a great venue. Love the historical value it brings to Tulsa downtown. it is in a great location because if youre going to a concert theres plenty of places to grab a beer or have some dinner. The parking is never a problem either.I only live a few minutes from there. If Im going to a concert and I dont want to drive theres really some great hotels near. You can walk from the hotel to the venue to save from driving while intoxicated. Just the best location for a venue like this.
Nice venue, helpful staff, AIR CONDITIONING! As far as inside concerts go, this one seems pretty great. For those that like to sit, the balcony is great. Offers good views and is setup so everyone can keep their seat and still have good sight lines. Acoustics seemed good. Good parking was cheaper than we expected. Plus it was easy to get in and out of. The three pictures I posted were from the balcony center going towards the stage on the left. The right has the same curve and setup. It gives you an idea of what you can expect here.
The Brady is always a top notch venue. We have never had a bad seat or saw a bad show. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We love this place ️
We were forced to leave our expensive umbrella at the entry with everyone else. It was a down pour and very cold outside. I told the staff member I did not want to leave my umbrella there to be stolen when I come back for it. It’s. My possession and I will retain it. He said, that I could not Renter the theatre with it, the other option was to take it back to the car. As if that was a viable option. I asked him, if he was going to ensure I would get my property back, since I was being forced to leave it behind and he said no. What an absolute scam. They force you to leave a valuable item in their possession and they take it and can resell it and you are powerless. Unless you want to hike back to your car and return after walking 1/2 mile in the freezing rain.Well, show was over and I got to get my umbrella and it’s gone. What a shock. So we got to walk all the way back to the car in the freezing rain, with not umbrella.I think I would like to ensure that this is not the last time the Brady staff has to deal with this issue. I plan to make them focus on their lackadaisical attitudes.
The venue is BEAUTIFUL, make sure just to look up at the ceiling. Its just cozy & lovely!EVERY seat is GREAT & the sound quality in the building is AMAZING! Plenty of restrooms conveniently located. They also set up several mini stations other than the main drink station in the lobby. I just love the place. Plus, I hear its haunted.
Great place to go see a show. Its not too big, so the lines arent long and there is plenty of parking. My favorite part is that they still have people who see you to your seats. Its part of Tulsas history and its a neat experience to be in such a place. Go check it out.
Theres a fine line between historical and really needs to be updated and I feel like with all the renovations happening downtown, Brady is on the wrong side of that line. The seats are small and uncomfortable, the aisles are packed very close together, the bathrooms.... well, us guys pee in a trough. It just looks and feels very dated. There really isnt a bad seat in the house and Ive seen lots of great shows there, but it hasnt been updated in decades and it shows.
The old lady on Brady is one of my favorite venues. The first show I seen here was Motley Crue way back in 1983, what made it so memorable was the night before the show the roof burned right over the stage, it was winter and snow was falling in on us and Crue, my buds and I were the up front fanatics. But this review was for the Alice in Chains show. Which was excellent also.
Love the place. Bring cash to avoid the line to get a drink as the front. There are a couple of cash only places where the lines are typically much shorter. Sat in balcony for last show and felt cramped. Sat in lower level this time and felt like I had more room. I was in curve up top last time and that might have had something to do with it too. Getting out can be a challange but just use the concourse to get to which ever side you want to exit and it goes much faster... dont go to lobby and try to cross... that is no good. Great place to catch a show
Its in dire need of major updating! Most uncomfortable seat Ive ever set in. Everything could use a fresh coat of paint. The staff was amazing and sound was great! Would only come back if they bring things up to date.
This is a historical theater located in Tulsa. There is some push to change the name from the Brady to the Tulsa Theater, either way this venue will remain the cozy intimate theater it has always been. There is always a cool show to catch. If your ever visiting Tulsa or you have just wanted to come out, see a show its well worth it!
Saw one of only 7 Jeff Beck dates in 2019 here on September the 18th 2019. Beautiful theater the seating is too close and was actually too close to the stage.
This is a nice historical theater in the heart of downtown Tulsa with the namesake having a controversial history. Many great shows and acts have come thru the doors.
Great venue to see a show. Just did not like having to pay $10.00 to park in the lot next to it. Just doesnt seem right, but everyone wants a buck.
No idea why it was reported as permanently closed, still open and functioning.
The Brady Theater is a lovely and quaint venue. The auditorium is not too large which means there is not a bad seat in the house! There are several bar areas so not extremely long lines to get a drink. There is ample close parking so you dont have a long hike to the door. All in all a great intimate venue!
Great live show. The sound system was good as well as the seat down in the pit. A mosh pit started to form but died out pretty quick
Awesome intimate concert experience. Only real complaint: the seats are the size of elementary school auditorium seats. Tedeschi Trucks Band were awesome!
History earns this 5star. Balcony is comfortable and excellant view.
Loved it, went for Tenacious D. The only downside is how tiny the seats are, youre literally rubbing against everyone all the time. Other than that, we had a blast.
Great old music venue. The seat comfort is so so. The drinks are good.
Good venue. Refreshments were way too expensive, even for a theatre.
Love the old theaters and what they hold
Not a bad seat in the place. Historic!
Nice cozy venue, but odd setup for the bar.... at least during the Marilyn Manson concert. I enjoyed the fact that you could actually see everyone on the stage & they werent the size of an ant! Id definitely go again if someone I was interested in performed there.
Always enjoy going to concerts here. Building is old but historical. Great sound and small enough that every seat is a good seat.
Not a bad seat in the house! The sound is fantastic. Its an older place with a personality and atmosphere all of its own.
First off let me that I love the Brady Theatre it is truly a Tulsa icon, but the people running it are inept and completely rude! We went to show last night and no sooner did we get in the door and got berated by a staff member because we stopped moving. I have been to plenty of shows here and have never been treated like this before. Then we tried to get a beer that literally took 40 minutes in line. How is it a good idea to be understaffed at the all the bars at a sold out show? Parking is $20 as well. Its $5 right down the street at the cains. The Brady is truly a great place to see a show but she is showing her age. It is badly in need of refurbishment inside. I love this place but hate the people who are running it. What a shame.
Nestalgic, one-of-a-kind venue. Seating is tight.
Great venue and just the right size. Staff gave very good customer service and nice and clean! No smoking too
This place is always a treat to see a show. The seats are comfy and theres almost no bad section in which to sit. The refreshment kiosks where plentiful and fast. The bathrooms are clean, but too small to accommodate the large crowds found at this venue. That would be the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
Not the best, but definitely not the worst
Live music in Tulsa great old venue many shows are highly recommend so nice evening out for live music
Wonderfully historic, great acoustics. LOVE Aaron F Lewis
This place is super cool! I was worried about being on the balcony, but the view was great from everywhere. Of course the drinks are overpriced, but I really liked the venue. Extra star for no taxidermy.
Its a little cramped if your tall but the quality of sound in the building makes up for it. A small concert mixed with the antique wood sounds like your at the biggest venue ever.
Was amazing...such character and charm at this venue...attended an aaron lewis concert...he was amazing!!
Got to see the greatest and best band in the world
Great venue. Acoustics are awesome. Everyone should visit and experience the feeling you can only get from this one of a kind venue. And they have a wide range of concerts. Pick one and try it out!
The show we saw was great. Seats are pretty crowded together. Also the ushers were super nice and did a great job.
It was awesome. Excellent venue. Excellent concert.
Nice small venue.not a bad seat in the house. The neighborhood is pretty scetchy though.
First time there. Bigger than I expected but so old. Really needs some TLC still. Acoustics were good for the Kris Kristofferson concert.
Amazing history here! Went to concerts as a teen myself and love that I can share the experience with my daughters.
Beautiful Historical Theater. It needs renovation in places but definitely worth visiting
One the best concert venues, I have ever been to.
Best place for concerts in my opinion! The history of the stage and the acoustics are amazing! I love the intimacy of the smaller theater, theres not a bad spot there!
Surprisingly large theater. There is plenty of paid parking in the general area. Several concession stands placed around the lobby areas. The front lobby is on the small side and easily gets congested. The theater itself has a great sound. Seats are comfortable. Though you can tell they are old as they are shorter than modern theater seats.
Went to see needtobreathe. The theater was big and nice and it was the best place for the concert in my opinion.
Ive been here twice and both times have been great. Its an old building but thats part of the pleasure. Its clean and comfy. We will keep coming back.
It was good because of who I saw there and the prices for the concessions were reasonable. However, I hope they plan to renovate. The seats were really, REALLY tight!! Not much room to move around. Im glad that the workers for the theater were really nice.
Love this place. And staff are wonderful. We had a few questions. Worker Kresta Knight answered all our questions. Made us feel like it was our home. I could not say enough good stuff about the staff and the building.
Cannot possibly recommend this venue more. Just large enough to attract top level performers, but small enough to feel absolutely and totally intimate. Extremely well cared for and preserved as the complete and utter Tulsa treasure/classic work of art that it is.
Nice place to see a show. Lots of seats. GA pit was a nice size but very sticky. Beer is $4. Right in middle of a bunch of bars and restaurants.
It was the first time Ive ever been to the Brady theater and Not only was it beautiful and very well organized good performer Vance Joy was absolutely wonderful it was very intimate feeling it didnt feel like a large Stadium concerts and it felt personal he was able to joke and be funny or seats were amazing it was just a beautiful building and environment
I know the Brady is historic, but honestly its worn out. Tulsa needs to replace the smelly tired carpets and at least repaint.
Watched the Jason Bonham concert. Loved the music. There are blind spots in the seating. Shoulders touch your neighbors shoulders.
Nicely organized, seats are not bad, stage view is limited, not all seats have a good view, the main screen that should highlight whats going on stage is also limited to lower deck and not viewable on higher ground!
Best concert venue in Tulsa with the coolest womens bathroom anywhere (balcony, Eastside)! Not a bad seat in the house but the balcony is the best!
We attended a Tenacious D concert here. It was great the staff was friendly and helpful. The theater was a lot smaller than I expected.
Nice venue. Prices are high
This was a great concert. Great place just gets really jammed when trying to get merchandise. Like at any concert though.
I wish there were more of my favorite bands and artists that played here. Wish the seats were wider. Cant wait to be back
Trisha Yearwood was awesome- the ancient venue felt more like a bar than a performance hall.
Good place. Seats made for regular sized people. You can tell that big and tall people dont do well there.
Great old world vibe. Great acoustics. All seats are intimate to the stage.
Went to a concert to see Beth White and KWS. The venue is awesome. There is not a bad seat in the place. The atmosphere, sound, and overall experience was good.
This is a super cool old theater. Its a righteous place to experience a show. Especially cool to be on the floor.
Always a good show at the Brady. Been there over 50 times!
Top notch theater for live music in one of the hotbeds for musical talent in America,Tulsa! There is a beat to Tulsa that breeds talent. Saw the Tedeschi Trucks Band and atmosphere was great! I just wish the crowd didnt hoot and holler when the band tried to bring songs down to silence.Only major complaint is lack of restrooms. Lines were super long during the intermission.
Brady on the whole was awful. Small seats. Small front. Why they felt the need to stick the merch next to the bar and only have a gap wide enough for 1 1/2 persons is beyond me. They could have put the merch in the parking lot and it would have been better. The seating was the worst. Unless you weighed 90lbs, you are not getting in or out of those seats with any frequency. I am a big boy and had to turn and wiggle my way out of the seat. That is not to mention the mountainous climb to get to the seat. The seats are located on an graduating concrete slab thus having one very large step to get to your row of seats. The whole place looked like it was remodeled in the early 70s and has not been looked at since then. There were holes on the stage where you could see the outer wall. Not to entirely dump on the Brady, it did have excellent sound. It was not ear busting loud but loud enough that you could hear all the music. However, that could have been a excellent sound tech instead.I would skip going to the Brady unless there is a band you are desperate to see. Then again most of those bands are going to the local casino anyway.
This is such a great, smaller venue! Just the right size, the staff is great, plenty of parking around! Also some good places to eat close by, so it doesnt get much better than this!
Well in my books, it could make a lot of changes. I loved the performance.
Love this small venue. Always have a wonderful time.
First off, The show we saw was phenomenal and ultimately that is the draw. The group I was with had VIP passes to meet and greet with the performers so the place was not full yet. I went to the bar for water and the staff seem super stressed out so I said I would come back later. 30 minutes later I came back to ask for a soda water. It took close to 10 minutes to fulfill this order. The staff did not know how to use the computer system and they bickered at one another while a line of customers stood waiting. I paid for the soda water and my friends gin and tonic and was charged $18. There was also a guy who stood in the lobby who spent 15 minutes addressing the crowd on the nuts and bolts of meeting the performers, the information given could have been on wrapped up in well under 5 minutes but mansplaining apparently takes much longer. - For an establishment that has been around for so long it seem like thes minor details should be a non issue but their incompetence was placed on the show- goers as being our fault.
Great little venue to watch a concert!
Pretty solid auditorium venue with great acoustics. I saw In This Moment & New Years Day perform here which were very theatrical acts.
Sound quality here leaves a lot to be desired as does the seating or standing situation. The balcony experience can be really alright or flat out bad depending on where youre sitting. On the lower level, general admission can be very crowded while seats located on the lower level have no view of the stage because theyre located right behind those people standing in general admission space. All this being said, Ive seen some incredible acts here and had a lot of really great times and will keep coming back for cool acts just wish they would invest a little more in sound equipment :(
Great acoustics and wonderful atmosphere for any style of music. The Brady is my favorite venue for live music in the state of Oklahoma!
Its quite a small place but it has great vibes and was great for the Tenacious D concert I went to.
Its small, great acoustics. Performers seem happy there.
Theres not a bad seat in the house! Pretty cool venue.
One of the best places to see a concert. The accoustics and seating are great. Could use a better beer selection.
This little venue is fantastic for an intimate experience with any act. If you have a chair seat and not GA (standing room) then dont expect to be able to move around much. The seating is a bit restrictive for dancing and enjoying the music. You want to sit and chill and take in the show... The seats are great.
Greatly enjoy going to shows at the Brady Theater (Tulsa Theater). There are no bad seats in the house, in my opinion. I love sitting in the balcony. Good sized stage. The staff is friendly.
Great place to have a venue. All seats are good. Enjoyed the concert very much. A great place for a concert. Acoustics were amazing.
Loved! Loved! Il Divo.Acoustics were fabulous!
Great venue for great bands and great location. I love going to this place to watch concerts. Right in the heart of downtown Tulsa.
Great place to have a concert or see any other kind of entertainment!
Its the music, dont ya know? It does so much for the soul. It can quiet and quell the beast within, or be the catalyst that blows your dome to expel all the pent up emotions that unfortunately and undoubtedly, make us human... Oh yea, the Brady rocks. Its a great venue to enjoy live music.
Performances sound great. Ushers are friendly and helpful.
Absolutely Great Theater to see live music up closeHad an awesome timeFantastic ExperienceI highly recommend going
