I give them a 3 star because the food was good but it just wasnt enough. Especially being vegan you gotta eat a ton. I also tried the coffee and it was great. If this place could give me a meal with 1000 calories for the same price I would come back.

The atmosphere is great, I love the decor and all the little details. The customer service was good. The drinks we ordered were very good, the quality of the tea I ordered was excellent. Will be coming back

So, I moved from Texas in March and everyday I’m at work saying, I want some breakfast tacos. Every time I tried a place I was let down. On my search for healthy food this morning I found this place and decided to give it a try. I sent one of my employees to pick up food for us.Jackpot. The food is always so stellar, lots of customization available. Even with all of the options I never seem to end up having a bad meal nor have we ever had an order wrong. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I also appreciate all the effort they went through to ensure the safety of their employees and customers during the COVID situation.

Love the food here. It wasnt the best experience this time just because there was no inside seating and we waited a while to order but I know thats not the restaurants fault. I will definitely go back but sorry to say I might wait until things are back to normal. But again, the food is wonderful at Chimera.

Chimera has such wonderful options. The raw cacao energy bar is the absolute best. I also loved the Cinderellas Big Score breakfast taco, which is served all day. The salads and sandwiches are wonderful as well. You simply cant go wrong if you want to eat a nourishing meal whilst downtown.

Came here for dinner as we love good coffee and breakfast is served all day. It was bit with the family.The cappuccinos were perfection. The foam was done just right: art but held its shape as your drank. Seriously perfect.Our food was very good as well. My husband and I shared the San Diego club on sourdough with hummus and carrots. It was delicious. The bread was obviously fresh.Our girls each got a Kelly blue plate special. You really can’t go wrong with scrambled eggs and bacon for kids. This was a elevated version of a staple. The bacon was delicious—long, thick strips that seemed to have some kind of glaze. Again, we got sourdough for the toast which both girls just loved. A simple plate, but perfect for our 5 and 7 year old.Food wise, I give five solid stars. I’m only rating four overall. It’s on the pricey side, but the food really is worth it. However, because of the price with tip, I’d have expected a bit more service wise. It’s counter service, and while the people were friendly, they didn’t really do anything service wise but bring our food out. Idk, if a tip is requested up front when ordering, I feel like there should be some follow through to deserve that tip.Overall, it was a very good experience, and I’d happily eat here again if we find ourselves in Tulsa.

This was such a happy, wonderful surprise to discover in Tulsa. We were in town for one night and found this gem online. They offer really delicious vegan food, well crafted drinks and scrumptious deserts in the heart of Tulsa. But maybe the best part was the great staff! We liked it here so much, we’re headed back in the morning for breakfast before we head out of town. You won’t be disappointed eating here!

Not a horrible place, but the coffee is a little weak, and trying to put sugar in your coffee is a bit of a chore (raw sugar in parmesan shakers), so I ended up tossing it before I got back to work.Their competitor 3 blocks to the east is a much better choice, and there are several other choices within walking distance as well. All have faster, friendlier service.

I freaking love this place me and my wife go atleast once a week. All of the vegan tacos are delicious. But now I always get the vegan plate and a Panama pour over coffee.

I gave Chimera 3 stars because the portions are small and the flavor is ok. I am a new vegan and recently had Elote for lunch and was quite impressed with the flavors and seasonings. I think for 13 bucks my side of fruit shouldnt come in a condiment container. The portions were toddler portions. Thank God I had bread.Nothing against them, the atmosphere is great. I just dont feel satisfied. Still hungry.

I’ve now been to Chimera twice in the past few weeks, both times for Sunday Brunch. Other times I’ve come by in the afternoons for a brew with friends.Chimera has a ton of good coffee and usually an eclectic selection of beer (8taps). The nitro coffee is my go-to.Brunch - it gets busy, long lines to order food and a decent wait to get ordered items. Breakfast tacos are a bit pricey (4-4.5$/per). Patience though, it is worth both wait and price. Three tacos are enough to fill me completely and I’m a big guy.There are seven different tacos and you get to add a salsa to each; what I’ve had are delicious.The place is mostly catering vegetarian/vegan dishes, and is all good.There are a lot of seating options, indoor and out. Bicycle pickups just outside. Well lit indoor and music plays lightly.

I got the Green Eggs and Ham taco. I subbed the bacon with Adzuki strips and they are awesome. The almost taste like bacon and they are yummy in their own right. I loved this taco. I had the peanut butter Thumbprint Cookie with blackberry jam. Oh my, such decadence. The decor is cute with fairy lights. Since you order at the counter They also have cute letters instead of numbers so they know where to bring your food.

The new Chimera Cafe menu has a good variety of vegan options and they are super delicious. A must try is their fresh orange juice. I really liked how they had arranged the food in bowl and tacos. I just wish if they give a bit more of pico de gallo. Their red hot sauce is the kick. The staff is friendly and sweet; restaurant is clean.

Nice hipster spot! Good music (a little loud) the food makes being a vegan easy. It always tastes amazing. Their chocolate chip cookies are a huge yes with my family and they aren’t vegans.

Ordered the vegan biscuit with gravy and veggie soup. The biscuit is unique and soft; pairs great with the gravy and I usually don’t like gravy on my biscuits! The veggie soup has a light chewy texture that I found that I love.

Tasted very fresh. Best gluten-free bread I’ve ever had. Had the free mason burger or something like that. Only downside was coffee was tiny and no refills.

This place is delicious! Sure, its a little pretentious-- most vegan restaurants are. But they earn it with their good food, great customer service, and knowledge of all things vegan. If you have any food allergies this place is for you. Theyre sure to have something yummy to make you forget all about those sensitivities. I considered giving them 4 stars because they close at 6:30pm on most weeknights. But I couldnt do it. Theyre just too good. P.s. the vegan hot chocolate with oat milk is a warm hug in a cup.

This is our new favorite cafe!! The only downside is that its a 2 hour drive from home. While in Tulsa for 24 hours, we visited Chimera twice! It is nestled in the wonderful Tulsa Arts district and is truly a vegetarian and or vegans dream. They have options for omnivores as well but really put effort into providing amazing, delicious dishess for the rest of us. They make vegan donuts in house even! The coffee is all made to order based on individual preference, something Ive never seen before. The staff is hip, they are friendly, and the place is packed with happy customers always. We will be making additional trips to Tulsa JUST for Chimera.

Picked this place for the Vegan Options that my daughter has such a hard time finding. I didnt realize that my orders were both Vegan until we were through eating. Everything tasted amazing. Only wish that either the portions were a bit larger or that pricing was a bit less. Other wise would visit much more often!

We didnt quite know what to expect when we walked in with our kids for dinner. We eat mostly plant based meals and the online menu looked promising. It was very quiet, people were working or studying, and here we show up with three kids including a toddler. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. My daughter and I both ordered the baconless BLT and it was awesome. My husband ordered vegetarian street tacos and they were very good too. Our server even brought my toddler an adorable hot cocoa in a small coffee cup with a design in the froth. We really enjoyed our meal and our visit.

I was so happy to find a vegetarian restaurant in Tulsa. This one did not disappoint either. The food was good and the options were fun. I brought my family which are not vegetarians and they enjoyed their food. I enjoyed theirs more than mine sadly. I chose poorly. The environment here is set up for a very laid back crowd, with community tables, private tables and a no rush attitude. Your are able to stay as long as you like it appears. I watched many people stay and work after their meal. Go with a small crowd if you want to sit quickly!

Awesome breakfast scrambles and coffee options.

First time there, ordered a simple breakfast. Scrambled eggs can be rather bland but these had great flavor. The bacon was thick and was cooked perfectly. Buttered toast came with a container of jelly.They have a large selection of coffee, cold-brewed, too. A busy and popular place on a Saturday morning. They must be on some sort if bicycle route and are bicycle-friendly with convenient sidewalk seating if desired.Will gladly visit again.

Had lunch at Chimera when we arrived in Tulsa for a 24 hour visit. We loved it so much we went back and had lunch again the next day before we hit the road. Such an inventive menu. Laid back atmosphere. Best food we had while in Tulsa.

Fantastic food, every time. This time I had the Monsieur Fromage, which is a grilled cheese with either veggie bacon or pork bacon. I went with the veggie bacon, and it was supremely delicious. My date on this occasion had the San Diego club, but as a wrap. I can confirm that the wrap was also delicious. The coffee selections here are always delicious, and Ive heard they support local coffee roasters. Overall, a fantastic place for lunch, dinner, breakfast, drinks, whatever! I will definitely be back many times.

I really love the food, but there isnt much seating, ...and they play music WAY too loud for that small of a place. You have to shout to be heard. The line is in front of the door instead of ordering from the table, and that blocks a lot of space as well. However, the vegetarian and vegan dishes are amazing, and the drinks are wonderful. So basically, food- 5 stars. Ambiance- 1 to 2 stars.

Really great options for every meal. Coffee is some of the best in town. Vegetarian and vegan options are like half of the menu at least, but meat loves will still have great options.

My wife and I love stopping by Chimera every chance we get. Their coffee is of course fantastic, and they have a fantastic selection of food offerings. I’ve never had tofu, and I don’t think that I could ever have a tofu scramble taco anywhere but here. Their food is absolutely fantastic. I visited this place per my friends suggestion. Not going to lie when I saw the menu and walked in I was actually thinking what the heck am I going to get here? This place looks to healthy. Wow, was I wrong and impressed!This is a very hipster cool place to visit. This place features food all freshly grown in Oklahoma and all their food vendors are even featured on their menu and where their local farm is which is such a great local touch that you just dont get elsewhere. Its also nice knowing that these eggs are actually freshly cage free eggs rather than store bought.I got a drip coffee and 2 tacos, 1 teenage riot and 1 other that I just forgot the name of, whoops! Anyways, each taco is $4.50 a taco which is pretty steep if you ask me but it is filled up pretty good.The drip coffee was nothing to rave about next time ill probably opt out for water. Besides that creamer and sugar isnt on your table its in the corner so Im pretty sure I spilled coffee walking back to our table.The place was packed when we came Sunday morning we were lucky enough to find a seat but other people I did notice were standing around waiting for tables to open. This place just has local charm, the table markers after you place your order are alphabet letters just very all unique.The baristas are friendly and get the long line moving which is also a huge plus.If youre a carb lover and want to try something other than tacos they did offer bowls, home made scones which just looked divine and they had this chocolate covered donut that I kept eyeing!

Sourdough toast was served with garlic butter and blueberry spread which did not go together well at all. Oatmeal was good. I wish they had regular granulated sugar for coffee. The organic sugar made coffee taste like there was Agave syrup in it. Good experience, I guess my older palate is a bit more simple though.
