This is a quaint place. The floating Bluegill Grill was what pulled us in. Although well past the lunch hour, it was busy with a constant stream of customers coming in off boats docked at the marina. So our food took a while to prepare. We both had shrimp baskets - mine was grilled while wifes was fried. The potato wedges were better than the fries, the slaw was ok, the Turkey Rice was really spicy and good but we couldnt tell much difference between the two types of shrimp. All in all a good place to eat when in the area.

A bit pricey but a great place to spend the weekend.. don’t plan on catching any fish around the marina as they are fed well. There are fish food machines, where you can purchase food to feed the fish (mostly carp).. pontoons and party barges are available for rent.. I would advise calling ahead. Family oriented. No swimming around the marina for your own safety. There are rooms for rent as well which are decent for the price.

Our family from toddler to grandparents loved it. Fairly priced, plenty of room and the pontoon handled beautifully. Ate lunch at the Grill before heading back out for the afternoon. Perfect day getaway! Come enjoy Tims Ford Lake and all the area has to offer.

Does not appear to be very well kept. Trash near the boat ramp and docks. The whole area needs grooming. Also, the outside area around the cabins and the cabins themselves do not look very enticing nor cozy. This is the least clean of all Tims Ford properties!!

Best marina to stop and clean your fish after a days catch.

We had a excellent stay in cabin #2 rustic but it was clean fresh sheets and towels. My wife had a good time feeding the ducks and turtles. The restaurant had good food and beer was cold. Our only complaint was that we had to leave

Went last night for the seafood buffet, was not impressed at all, all they had was shrimp, boiled potatoes, boiled corn, boiled sausage and small hushpuppies... Need to do a better job on the buffet. Need more choices!

Lake and views were amazing.Lakefront rooms needed a little help, but if your there for everything else the roo.s are like tent camping, doable.Its no Ritz Carlton lol but no need to ding a review. Usually have no issues with ramp or visitors. Clean parking and no theft issues as far as I know. The restaurant is fantastic. Be sure to say hi to the ducks.

Our experience renting the party barge with slide was thumbs down. They charge way too much for this particular boat. The bathroom was nasty, the slide water pump didn’t work right. We were desperate for a boat that day was the only reason why we went on it rather than cancel.

We like the marina and restaurant but the chalets are awful. I had people coming in from Vietnam last year and suggested the chalets because of the convenience to our home. When I went down to help them check in disappointment was an understatement. They are old and need remodeling very bad. The floor in the one they stayed was uneven, the mattresses were sagging, sheets were torn and it was 90 degrees outside and they had not even turned the air on for their check-in. I realize people party in these chalets but this condition is no excuse. They could put a damage deposit in place and require you to be 21 to rent. I would never recommend the chalets, I havent been in the hotel in years. The marina and restaurant are very nice. We have been patronizing this marina since 1987 and I really hope a remodel for the rooms are in the near future.

Update. We just re booked for the 22nd and they rememberd us and made it right..Great place to go!! Thank you! My wife and I had a reservation for Memorial Day weekend 2018 and we have a deaf dog, so finding a place to stay after a long week at work isnt easy. My wif booked us a cabin in advance to assure us of a relaxing weekend. We take off work and go to find out that the cabin rental is now in a hotel room and when we see the rental book under cabin # 4 is whited out and directly across from the white out is our name in the hotel collum..coincidence????
