Very nice, small, train museum. Wish I could volunteer to help finish some of the projects. Nice man (sorry I forgot your name) showed us around and knew all the local history of the trains. Id visit again.
Museum closed multiple times when several Tourists wanted to visit. Main Street lady let me in this afternoon to look at part of the displays. Nice displays but way too bad that they are closed most of the time. I considering relocation but not made to feel very welcome by such tactics. Found all four museums in town not open. Also found that Chamber of Commerce not open several times I tried to go there too.
It appears that the museum is only open 6 months of the year but the curator graciously let us in to look around! It is very cool even with being a work in progress.May-October12 pm-5pmThursday-Sunday
Very nice museum. Our host, Mike, was very interesting to talk with. Well worth a visit.
Liked it a lot. Very knowledgeable staff.
This place was so cool, they had bits and pieces from railroad history. Authentic time tables, cool displays explaining different aspects rail industry. Definitely a good stop for the train buff.
There is fired up events that happen hate
Closed. My kids are into trains and I researched online and called for their hours, but when we arrived (during their operating hours), all doors were locked and no one was there. Very disorganized and disappointing.
Support railroad history. After all it did so much to help build this country
Great restoration of the old station.
Were this magnificent structure open, the rating would be a 10. One can peer inside windows, and walk the boarding planks, in anticipation of the 3:10 to anywhere. No trains are present to board, though.
Was closed not much there
Its an old rail station no more used with a small exhibition inside, often closed...
This place is a labor of love. Its informational and very inviting
There are a lot of photos and artifacts of local railroad history!
Interesting and a fun place
Some needs to donate an antique train..please.
