The food was sooo delicious! First time being here and I loved it. The haunted train ride was very cool. The location was easy to find and parking was plenty because of the huge parking lot. Customer service was very pleasant. I really enjoyed the old western town style theme and they even have a live pirate show with real pyrotechnics! The chocolate candy store was one of my favorites. Im definitely going back. Oh and make sure to wear a tie!

Only had a brief visit during The early hours of the morning so the town was pretty dead, but the town itself is beautifully done with everything from shoe shiners to saloons and country stores and of course though local steakhouse. Theres even a stockade/jail For any rule breakers in the vicinity. I will say that the local eatery Millies Pancake Haus was quite a treat with unique and authentic decorations, a friendly staff and a pretty satisfying menu top choose from and stopping in for a early breakfast or late brunch is definitely something I would recommend to any visitor

My family has gone to Pinnacle Peak/Trail Dust Town for the last 40 years, and we have really loved the food and the servers. We took some food to the feral cats today, and were approached by a security guard (AGRO Security), Wade, who said they were trying to track us down. They did not want us to feed the cats. We tried to explain to him that they are not fed every day because there are no bowls down at least 3-4 days a week. They are so hungry that they will allow us to pet them. A server had told us who was feeding them and how many days a week. Wade’s response was “servers know nothing.” Which is interesting since the majority of the servers at the Peak are women. This was said in a very demeaning way. We said we would post this on social media and he replied “go for it.” We spoke to his manager who was nice, but he only said he would talk to him. If this is the type of people that are hired unfortunately we won’t go back.

This place was a really cool really neat find. The place looked empty because we arrived in the middle of the day when the sun was blazing, but apparently it became more lively around breakfast time and dinner time at 6:30pm there is a cowboy shooting show where actors dressed in period clothes appropriate for the era, walk around the little town and make a small show before announcing that they will have show in the amphitheater. There are also other places you can visit with in this little town. There is a little tour train that takes you around the whole town and its pretty neat! I went with my mom and we both had a blast but this definitely a family friendly place. There is also few restaurants within this place and one restaurant is strictly no ties restaurant. Waiters and waitresses are dressed as cowboys and cowgirls and if you wear a tie they will make a big show of reminding you no ties AND WILL CUT OFF YOUR TIE in commemoration and hang it in the ceiling along with thousands of other ties that have been cut off. It was interesting. There is also a haunted house there and a bed and breakfast and its definitely worth coming and checking out here in Tucson.

We enjoy Trail Dust Town. Its a family friendly area with little attractions like a train ride, ferris wheel little kid ride, panning for gold, shooting range with animated props, restaurants and a bar. Pinnacle Peak steakhouse and Millies Pancake Hause are located here.I wish theyd fix up the animated gun range though, hence 4 stars. Half the guns eat coins and a few of the props arent functioning. If you find my review helpful please click like.

Dining at Pinnacle Pete felt like being at a fast food restaurant, except the prices were much higher and the waitress was extremely rude. I simply asked one question and she hurriedly stated/questioned, that if I wasnt ready can she go ahead and service the other tables and come back.I realize that we are in a pandemic. however my husband and I have been to quite a few other restaurants and they were a lot kinder and more patient and the place did not feel like a cattle call with them ushering customers and prodding them. Trail Dust Town used to be one of my favorite places. As of last night, I have changed my mind. I dont care how busy a restaurant is I expect to be treated with dignity. my husband and I are great tippers and despite her rudeness we still tipped her more than the 20%.so maybe she could take that extra money and take some lessons in etiquette and how to be kind and nice as a human being.

Awesome place that I somehow never knew existed. Like a touristy, Old West shopping venue with a town square that is quintessential Americana. Attractions are reasonably priced ($2.50 each for most, $5.00 each for gun show, or $12 for a wristband that has some limitations but also includes the haunted house). Really enjoyed our time here. Would be happy to return.

Its amazing. I felt like being in the old far west movies. Haha. My experience was not complete cause I went there at about noon, so almost all places there were closed. The first impression, finding a parking spot in the dark, is not good. Parking lots are mostly dirt and gravel and poorly lit. The little western town is cute, mostly props, closed buildings on a Thursday at 6:30pm. I watched the stunt show which was fun in a goofy, silly way. Its 30 minutes of entertainment for $5. The actors made me laugh several times, so I think its worth the money.I dont regret checking the place out, I spent about an hour and a half. Not sure if Ill be back though, I feel Ive seen everything that interested me.

Most fun weve had in ages! Great steak dinner then went to the fantastic open air show by the amazing Pistoleros Wild West Stunt Show. Non stop laughing. Hysterical stunts and pyrotechnics. Price is $5!!! What a bargain. Thru December it is their Santa Claus performance. Wed thru Sun at 7 and 8 p.m. Hit up their tip jar on way out and take pictures with the cast. Then go next door to the Chocolate Shop or the other stores. There is a small scale rail ride for the kids.

Trail Dust Town has a great steak house that is worth the trip by itself. However, there is an admittedly hokey little town that includes several shops, a haunted house, a couple of childrens rides, and an old-time photo studio. They have a little train that circles the property with a goofy tour script. Finally, there is a live, comedy stunt show at night. It isnt a sophisticated evening on the town, but its a great getaway for a couple of hours.

Came in here on a Sunday afternoon for some touristy fun while on a roadtrip, and this was a serious bust. Even though it says they are open, none of the shops open or shows happen until the evening. The place was an utter ghost town, except for the little rides that were operating. I had bought a stack full of the wooden nickels for rides, and after being there for 10 minutes was asked to move our car with a trailer, mind you the whole place was empty. We moved to where we were asked to move, and 10 minutes after that was asked to move again...because they were going to get busy?At that point we were over it, but I guess they got our money already from the coins and couldnt care less about our experience after that.

Pretty cool place to visit, you can ride around the outskirts on the train, and get a nice meal at Pinnacle Peak. Just dont forget to wear your least favorite tie . And you can walk around afterwards or before and just relax in the nice atmosphere, check out the different stores, and maybe even play a game or ride a ride. Pinnacle peak has really good food, and pretty quick service for a place as busy as they are. The server did forget that I ordered a cowboy steak meal, but remembered that my friend ordered one. I dont love being told Im wrong, but overall its not a big deal, I just didnt want to be charged extra for extra food that I wasnt getting. The service was pretty good and our server was quite nice, and helpful, especially with our little toddler, giving her a to go cup with a lid for her water so there was less chance of her spilling it everywhere. Definitely a cool restaurant and area to check out, its a bit more on the pricey side for both, but its not really the kind of place you eat at or area you visit everyday.
