Tucson Clay Co-op is awesome. Taking classes here has been fantastic! Maxine’s teaching style gives the student a very autonomous hands-on experience. She is also wonderfully flexible in scheduling which this busy bee greatly appreciates. I highly recommend here to anyone excited to learn the art of clay. Co-ops forever!
I sent my daughter to a summer class here that lasted over the course of a couple of weeks. The instructor Paul was fantastic with the kids and she had so much fun. A very pleasant environment with lots of returning students who showed my daughter the ropes. She couldnt wait to go back day after day.
It’s places like this that make me love Tucson. Great classes. The lady in charge is lovely. Awesome summer camps for kids.
Amazing place. We were there for a kid party and Maxine was amazing. Kids had a great time and learned a lot.
Im having a good time with their beginning class
Most eclectic place to work and I love it!
Daughter has a school project. So i went there with a few questions and they were very helpful
Very helpful with my Raku kiln project.
Just had thee best two hours learning the basics of throwing clay.
Looks like fun . Very pricey
Our private class with Maxine was awesome. She sets expectations for beginners appropriately and creates an encouraging atmosphere while leaving room for independence. We will definitely be coming back.
If you want to learn to be a Potter this is where to go! But be prepared for a long journey. You just dont make a pot. You learn how to work with clay.
Horrid and rude old woman owns the place, thoroughly unpleasant
Lovely place, lovely owner, lovely community. Great classes and a work study program!
We signed up for a kids pottery class in August 2016. Due to low attendance, the class got canceled after one week. They said, everyone would get refunded. That claim was made mid September. It is now end of October, we still havent received a refund. Not quite sure what is going on. Very disappointing!!! Cannot recommend them.
Been a work study student here for almost a year. Such a great atmosphere and wonderful people, prices for classes and for work in the gallery are all very reasonable. If youre at all considering checking it out, stop by during open studio hours to take a look.
Comfortable community centered place. Beautiful pottery for fair prices, classes for fair prices, love it!
Stopped by with my sister in law. Very nice pieces inside and was given information on classes. Everyone their was friendly and treated us well.
I love the Tucson clay coop. Its a very welcoming and community oriented environment, and a great place to learn pottery.
Took a class on how to work on the wheel. Maxine was a great teacher!
You can maybe volunteer her service
One of my favorite places
Great had a fun time
