This was my first tattoo and David did a fantastic job on the memorial tattoo of my dog. My experience at Art and Sol Tattoo Gallery was perfect. It was my first tattoo, and I had a consultation beforehand to go over the design and placement. My artist was Molly, and she was extremely helpful in giving me her expert opinion while allowing me to give my input, so the design was exactly what I wanted. She drew it for me with multiple options so I could figure out what was best. On the day of the tattoo appointment she was very kind to make sure I was comfortable and ready to get it done, the shop was clean and friendly, and everything went well. Ive been going to David for awhile now. He is the only one Ill let tattoo me. NOT your typical tattoo shop, super friendly and really down to earth atmosphere, feels more like your hanging out but then you walk out at the end with a badass tattoo. The new shop looks great as well. Just went in to finally finish up my sleeve. I had started This a year ago and only had an idea for a Tim burton sleeve when I first came in and David took each of my ideas and created a truley unique tattoo that your not gonna find anywhere else. Dave’s tattooing is top notch, he is very proficient at many styles of tattooing. Had by far my best tattoo experiences with Dave. Dave is working on my Captain Hook themed half sleeve and being a Disney lover himself the experience is a lot of fun. The tattoo itself is beyond what I could imagine. Recently he did an amazing job covering up a foot tattoo, the old tattoo is completely gone and the new one is beautiful and will stand the test of time. I first met David when my daughter needed a fix on her tattoo that she got for her 18th birthday. My son had gotten a Tattoo from David and recommended that I take her to him because he really liked his work. David transformed her tattoo into something she loved. I’ve been getting tattoos for almost a decade and had a bunch of space left over in my arm I wanted to fill up. This shop was recommended by someone I’m working with while visiting Tucson, and setting the appointment up was as easy as a couple texts with Dave. When I went in I didn’t really know what to get but Dave worked with me and five hours later I had exactly what I wanted. Probably the coolest tattoo shop atmosphere and experience I’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommend hitting him up if you’re in town!!

I couldnt be happier. I found David through a google search, saw his raving reviews and made the call. I had a concept of paradise in my mind for a cover up. David sat down and pulled the image from my mind and put pencil to paper and made it real. He was able to accomplish what I was told by another artist, would be impossible. The piece is truly a work of art. Im proud to be sporting such a gorgeous piece. The price was fair and the atmosphere was nice. Yes, it was a little difficult for me to find, but this guy is great. Hands down one of my best experiences, especially while getting my feet done. Him and his daughter were so sweet to talk to me to distract me from this crazy idea I had. But it was awesome. Ill continue going to David and his awesome new shop for years.

My son Steven lost one of his very best friends to suicide he has really struggled with this loss. After a ton of thought he decided to get this tattoo. He and David talked about he placement and meaning of his tattoo and it hit deep in Stevens game tonight asst heart..its tucked in the inside his arm as it is not for show but a reminder of the meaning of the semicolon and of the cross. The cross as a reminder where all wounds are healed and shows us Gods abundance of love. He chose his right arm because he lost a right hand man.A semicolon represents a sentence the author could have ended, but chose not to. The sentence is your life and the author is you You Matter. Something will grow from all you are going through and it will be you as you are not alone and your story does not end here.As this tattoo heals I hope and pray that some of his heartache also heals.

Just a completely amazing experince. This was my first tattoo so I wasnt fimilar with tattoo culture or lingo. Somehow the genuis that is David was able to understand the very abstract picture I was describing and then make it 100 times better than I ever could have thought. ( though the actuall picture was totally diffrent I told David I wanted the feeling of an old wooden boat sailing off the ends of the earth into space, when my wife sees the tattoo for the first time she says it gives off the feeling of Pirates of the Carribean in space ) HE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD PERFECTLY FOR WHAT I WANTED with no help from me. Obviously in-order to understand my vision he had to be patient, friendly and engaged. Traits that made a great picture but also a great experience. The place is clean and comfortable. Aside from the actual art work he showed great professionalisim and a work ethic that only comes when a person gives his heart to his work ( hes modest about it but it plainly shows). This experience was to me a collaberation on a great and spiritual vision I had in my head that would not have become a reality if not for David, I thank him and highly recomend if you are looking for the same that you contact him.
