The idea behind SPC is an amazing one! The concept is new, noble, and perfect!The staff is friendly, helpful, and amazing!I think that any idea that targets a large population has to take in consideration the demographics, and they have done that, they are geared towards a young crowd that is eager to do something new, exciting and is not afraid to jump in.However, you dont have to be young to take part. Anyone can feel at home and enjoy their experience there!Our tattoo artist (Abraham) was simply amazing and a real joy to work with. Very accommodating, and pleasant. Patient and friendly so we enjoyed our experience and I know that I will be coming back for more.

Very friendly front desk staff. I chose promo flash and artwork was spot on. My artist, Jennifer, was very nice. Shes currently an apprentice and, so far as I can tell, well on her way to being a premier artist. I recommend this place to anyone who tells me theyre considering a new piece of art.

I go to big russ for all of my piercings now. He is amazing and super friendly and will answer any and all questions you have. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is inviting and all the staff are very nice.

Great shop and overall great experience when visiting. The tattoo artist kept conversation with both my roommate and I while my roommate was getting work done. I like the style of the shop too. Definitely felt welcoming and wasnt overly done with a bunch of grunge type stuff like your typical tattoo shop. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy those too, but this one was definitely beyond professional. The artist also did a good job on my roommates flash tattoos.

Hey! so it was my first time coming here and i didn’t think it’d be bad because it’s a pretty prominent piercing/tattoo parlor. i got my medusa done here and the lady who pierced me put in a barbell, swelling wouldn’t go down and my inner lip was embedded around the ball on the inside. had to get it changed at another place and they couldn’t believe they pierced me with a barbell. also was starting to get pus in it. didn’t give me any instructions other than alcohol free mouth wash and no spicy food. it hurt immensely and i didn’t even notice until i got it replaced.i understand mistakes happen and people are learning but if they’re learning or apprentices i want to know. i’d rather someone tell me they can’t do it or don’t feel comfortable doing something.if you wanna get pierced here don’t let the cheap prices fool you and reconsider for a better experience. it’ll save you pain.

Flash sheets available all the time to help tattoo apprentices gain better skills. Different artists have different stations... not exactly sure how they are determined. My first visit was with Ari, and I sat in a chair (old restaurant style) and had to scoot my butt to the edge and kind of rest my neck on the lip of the back of the chair.... almost flashdance style... not exactly, but maybe you get the idea. Ari was great.My second session I had chosen four flash and was out in less than an hour. Love that funds go back to the community.

Spark project is an amazing place to get you your tattoo art done. Ive gotten tattoos from them as well as having them microblade my eyebrows and they did an amazing job. If you are thinking of getting ink soon definitely consider spark project, your getting great art work and supporting an amazing cause at the same time.

I went in with an idea in mind of what I wanted, and some how Bryce figured it out from my jumbled ideas coming out what I wanted and made it even better than I thought it could be. Even did a stellar job of fixing a previous tattoo and covering up the bad part. Would highly recommend shop and artist!!

I am so excited I found this place! Me and my boyfriend went to go get tattoos a few days ago and It was my first tattoo ever but we had Ari and she was amazing and made me feel really comfortable we will definitely be back.

If youre getting your first piercing or your piercing redone, I would recommend this place for sure Aislynne Black was the person who pierced my mom and Is earlobes, she was extremely professional, very informative for after care and straightforward with the piercing process. Literally couldnt be more happy with my tattoo. I had gotten a rose on my arm and it turned out amazing. The healing is going super well. The experience was great, I felt comfortable throughout the process, I was asked throughout the tattoo if I was doing okay, if I needed to take a break for water or anything. I mean the service was great. They were running behind when I got there but once I got in the chair they didnt rush to make up for the time, took their time for good quality tattoo. Oh and such a light hand too, I literally felt no pain, I almost fell asleep thats how light the pressure was. I even had to look a couple times to make sure that there was actually ink sticking. LolThe best part of all this experience is that all proceeds (money after bills and expenses) goes towards funding programs such as art therapy for children with disabilities, homeless drives, toys for children in foster systems and group counseling sessions. So not only did I get an awesome tattoo but the proceeds go towards something amazing.I ran a couple errands afterwards, and Ive gotten so many compliments on my tattoo within the past 24hours. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend!

THE BEST TATTOO SHOP IN TUCSON. Spark is a non-profit and they do more than tattoos and piercings! Art therapy for kids, donation drives for the homeless and all kinds of other great causes. Their tattoo work is incredible, but the tattoos really just fun all of the amazing work they do for our community!Why go anywhere else! Great flash sales, good prices, AND youre contributing to something bigger than yourself.

My Aunt and I got several flash tattoos recently. Our artist (Nate) was incredibly kind and personable, and did an excellent job!

I love the simple design of my first tattoo and my tattoo artist was excellent! He was very patient as I asked the design to be moved over and over again and he was so polite and fun to talk to while it was being done. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I definitely back that recommendation.

I had high hopes for this place but was kinda disappointed. Got a couple flash tattoos, the designs were super cute but the execution was only okay. A fair bit of ink along one line fell out of one of them, but because of the flash price no touch ups are allowed unless you are willing to pay the full price of the tattoo. Staff was also pretty akward and not very experienced.

Good quality tattoos for a good cause! Ive gotten tattoos from their monthly flash sales, and plan on getting some larger custom pieces in the near future. Its a friendly place with a lot going on, and the work they do for autistic kids and their families is wonderful!

Came to do a couple of tattoos and had called to make an appointment for me and my sister. The booking was accidentally put down for an hour after store had closed. Despite the mistake the guy had stayed late to fix it and get us our tattoos. He was really polite and reassuring. It was my sisters first tattoo and he really made it special. He ended up staying almost 3 hours after closing to make sure we were happy and taken care of. Overall a really great experience.

My friends are so impressed they are willing to make recommendations to some of their own clients to come here and spread the love.Spark Project, which helps children on the autism spectrum as well as other disabilities, is a wonderful cause.I highly suggest if you are looking for some new artwork, you do yourself and the community a favor and at least come by and check them out. What is there to lose by simply walking in and seeing some of the previous work they have done?You may in the long run decide to go back to your tried and true artist, on the other hand, you might find that John Vasquez and his crew can satisfy your desire for art and help some people at the same time.It’s your time, and your body, so take a chance that your spirit could be lifted knowing your new artwork also assisted someone in need.~Peace.

This has got to be the best place Ive ever visited. The employees are super friendly, the venue is always clean all of the proceeds go to autism awareness foundations they offer snacks clothing stickers pins. Its an incredible shop and they have a very well kept and professional shop. I highly recommend going here for all your tattoo or piercing needs.

Literally the best environment. Their new section that just opened this weekend is clean and really well laid out. Nice staff, I got my first ear piercing here and the people were super great, Russ did my piercing and he was super experienced and you could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing. I would reccomend this place for anyone getting piercings, let alone the fact that some of their proceeds to go kids with disabilities, mental health disorders, as well as other amazing causes.

I just got my septum pierced by Russ and I would HIGHLY recommend him. The process was very fast and didnt hurt me at all. I informed him ahead of time that I was prone to fainting and he was so cool and sweet about it. (Even if you are not a fainter, eat beforehand!) I did have to bring my 3 year old because my sitter bailed but they were all so kind to her, it was great!

Bryce is amazing as always and this place never fails to make me feel comfortable. Im never getting a tattoo anywhere else again.

Very cool, clean shop with super friendly folks! Johnny was very kind, accommodating, and not at all heavy handed! I was very comfortable as a new client and with my tattoo experience. He checked on me several times to make sure I was doing okay with the pain and is super friendly and easy to talk to.I love that this shop isnt super intimidating, loud, and generally overwhelming like other shops Ive been to in town. Its an easygoing, inviting vibe with super cool people. My tattoo turned out great and I would love to come back for more work!They are also really great about communicating with you and scheduling. I could not be happier with my experience from beginning to end!

Recently got my first tattoo. The artist that did it, was honest and clear. He made the tattoo exactly like what I have always wanted. I plan to go back again for more tattoos in the future! For now, I’m going to heal from this first tattoo. He made my first tattoo experience great, not at all a horror story like others have from other tattoo shops and artists. I recommend you going here for your first tattoo or even your 100th tattoo!

Cant speak more highly of this shop. Got my lobes pierced last night by Russ, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was like a time machine with punk music, sick shirts, and art to look at distracted me while I waited my turn. All the consent forms and sign in is electronic and they grab you when youre up. For the piercing itself, I was blown away by the selection of earrings to choose from; best part is they are all hypo-allergenic. Russ is a super nice guy and explained everything to me. On top of evrything else, the piercing was way cheaper than I had gotten at other tat shops. Much love, Spark Collective and thank you for the piercing.
