Best archery shop in Tucson. They have a good selection of items. I especially appreciate the variety of equipment for recurve bows as most archery shops are focus on compound bows. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Excellent customer service and a knowledgeable staff. Great shop (for Tucson), but the number of times they have to special order things is too high (arrow lube, Gold Tip 50gr inserts, RH Black Gold Ascent Verdict 5 pin, Rinehart targets). I want to buy my stuff locally to support the shop, but you definitely need patience if you decide to buy gear here. If their inventory was more shored-up I would give them 5 stars.

These guys are amazing! Took my bow in to have it tuned and they took care of me to a tee. They had me shoot my bow after the tune and made sure it was shooting bullets before I walked out the door. These guys are awesome would not recommend anyone else.

I bought my first bow here. All the guys in the shop were so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable; they set up my bow for me and got me fitted properly. They were also super awesome for working with me to ship it out of state. They completed the required adjustments and shipped it to NC when it was ready. It’s absolutely beautiful and I love it, I’m glad I got started into archery with their help and expertise!

Fantastic shop. Im a newbie, never shot a bow before but found a decent bow at Goodwill and came to get it re-strung, the work was quick and when I returned to pick it up they taught me proper technique and adjusted my draw. I was very comfortable talking to the staff and asking them questions. will definitely return for a class.

Bought my first bow, a Hoyt Power Max. Great service overall. Richard took the time to get me measured and suggested after shoot from both LH and RH that I get a right handed bow, even though I’m left handed but right eye dominant person. Looking forward to shooting and enjoying my Hoyt. Thank you Richard!

Great archery store. Im a first-timer getting into archery and loved visiting here. Highly recommend their beginner class for $15. It is an hour long class with about 55 minutes of shooting time! Plus instructional tips and education as you shoot. Very hands-on! Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful as well!

These guys did a great job on a bow that I picked up at a garage sale. Helped me get set-up and guided me to the items that fit my budget rather than try to up-sale me. Rates for the indoor range are pretty good too.

I wanted to try my hand at an archery hunt with my HAM javelina tag, as opposed to using my firearms. Im not sure what made me pick Bull Basin as I live almost 90 minutes away, but I had a good feeling. I called ahead to see if they had the bow Id been shooting at a friends (and had my heart set on) in stock only to find out they no longer carried the brand. I let the gentleman on the phone know that I was interested in buying my 1st bow and if he could work with me to pick something out, then Id gladly make the long drive. He assured me Id be in good hands.I got there, mentioned that I called ahead, etc. The young man I spoke to, Antonio, immediately got me started on trying out a bow he thought Id be interested in (they have an indoor range) Fast forward to over an hour later and Ive made up my mind, and hes working with me/dialing it in/sighting it in to me and I couldnt be happier or more excited. I left with a new bow, arrows cut for me, a release, etc. Great experience!Ive made the long drive back to them a couple of times since; for broadheads and a repair job. even though I have plenty of shops closer. (They even saved me by doing me a HUGE favor when I forgot my trailer keys at home)They took great care of me each time and I will always return to spend my dollars here; as I do with any place that takes good care of me (shout out to Healy Arms in Tempe, forever my lgs even though I live crazy far)It was tag soup for javelina, but I didnt want to go home empty handed on day 4 so I did manage to take a nice Jack rabbit with my new bow (awesome shot if I may say so myself) :-)Thanks Antonio, Jessie, and Rich. You guys are awesome.Ill be back in a few weeks for more arrows, etc!

The people here are extremely knowledgeable- they were patient and helpful with me as I eased myself into this hobby, but I have seen them provide expert advice to more experienced customers and its clear they know their stuff. I was never pressured to buy anything, though I did purchase my bow here nevertheless. A month of free use of the range was a nice perk, too.

I drove from Phoenix to Bull Basin to buy my bow simply for no reason other than customer service. I have taken my business in the valley to archery headquarters, bear mountain, bass pro, cabelas.......all the above are condescending and take no time to truly work with you as a customer. Bull Basin literally went above and beyond to guarantee i left happy with my purchase. I wont go anywhere else for my archery needs from this point on.

Great customer service. I really appreciate being able to visit the store in Tucson where I live and hunt deer, as well as being able to receive great service at the Flagstaff store where I hunt elk. Its like having big store availability with small store personal service. As a veteran I also appreciate their military discounts.

If I could give Bull Basin Zero Stars I would. I purchased a Brand New PSE Dream Season Evo in Feb of 2013. In less than a month there was a loud popping noise that was occurring when pulling the bow back. I took it back to Bull Basin to have the Bow fixed under the manufacture warranty. They told me they would take care of the warranty stuff through PSE and that I should have my bow back in a week. One week went by, no bow or communication. A 2nd week went by without hearing anything so I called and ask about my bow. They said they couldnt get ahold of anyone at PSE to determine what the issue was. So I called PSE to figure out what was up with my bow. They told me that they couldnt fix my bow because they couldnt make the part needed at this time. I asked about just getting a new bow since my bow was only a month old and I was told I had to deal directly with Bull Basin since I purchased the bow from them. So I called Bull Basin and they told me that all bow sales through them are final. I told them that PSE said they were cool with replacing my bow but that I had to go through Bull Basin because Bull Basin took my money and Bull Basin told me that it wasnt their problem. Only after calling my credit card company to dispute the transaction did Bull Basin ever seem concerned to fix the issue which still took another month to get fixed.I strongly recommend not purchasing a Bow or anything expensive from Bull Basin. They dont stand behind the products they sale and will not stand behind you when anything you buy doesnt work properly.
