Should have stopped in years ago for trick or treating done right. Its how every neighborhood should be the energy of this neighborhood reminds me of my home beautiful full of life and creates a fun experience for your children no need to hide in your homes when this city has Winterheaven. Very neat and you can tell why people travel far and wide to visit these homes wish the whole city was this beautiful.
Absolutely not worth the money!! We could not take good pictures because the driver of our jeep was driving way to fast!! if you want to take great pics I would highly recommend walking or wait to drive your own car.
Weve been going to Winterhaven every year since the kids were little. About 10 years now. Its something we love to do to celebrate Christmas and take time to relax during this busy season. Its usually pretty cold and we take big coats. We have walked through some years and taken the rides. We enjoy it all and appreciate all of the homeowners and TEP and others that make this tradition possible.
First time I went and it was as good if not better than what I expected. Some amazing holiday yard art! Fun for the whole family.
This was the worst holiday event weve ever attended. When we got there, the valet parked my car, but left the car running and locked the keys inside. They called AAA, but it was running for about 90 minutes before the locksmith was able to unlock the door. By that time, my car had overheated and was not running well. For the next couple of days it would overheat every time I idled. I finally had to take it into a mechanic who fixed it.DId this group offer to help pay for that or refund our money? Nope, they went on about how the valet was a good young man and they were going to make sure he kept working. (In all fairness, he did feel badly and gave me some money out of his own pocket, which the owners never paid him back for.)Meanwhile, it caused all three of us to be in a foul mood during the holidays. Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had. Oh and the ride was explained to us as a hayride. No hay and we were pulled around by a diesel belching jeep.Needless to say, I will never visit Winterhaven again and am letting everyone know the hayrides are a sham and should be avoided at all costs (and they do overcharge for the ride). Walk or ride your own car if you go. Never, ever take this ride.P.S. I could not post this unless I gave a rating of at least one star. They dont deserve it.
Its not busy at all and they expect you to be on time. Problem is they dont run on time. That and if the seats arent used they dont want you to donate your ticket to someone else so they could sell that seat again. I had two extra tickets because someone canceled on me. When I gave them to someone who didnt have tickets yet I was told I am not allowed to do that. Other than that. I had a great time
Everything was wonderful and fun on the ride through Winterhaven. Julie was kind and extremely courteous; the ride was just the right length of time; and everyone on board had a fabulous time! Cant wait to go again!
Went truck or treating and had a blast. Cant wait to go soon to see Xmas lights.
I go every year with my dogs we all enjoy the night ♡
Weve been riding through Winterhaven with these people for years! They are kind, efficient, friendly, and personable. We always reserve a wagon for 30 every year!!! Looking forward to it again this year!!
Fun place to take a stroll and see all the light displays.
My children and I had a very nice evening and had a great time!!
This is a real hassle for residents of the neighborhood fronting on country club. Holiday visitors can be surprisingly rude and entitled!
If you like sardines you will like this. I wanted to take my whole family on a nice relaxing ride through winterhaven 8 adults and 4 children 12 in total I paid for at 13 bucks a pop not cheap. They packed us so tightly in not one of the children had a seat they had to sit on an adults lap then why did I pay for them. And then half way through one of the wagons breaks down we waited and waited it wasnt till people were tring to get off did anyone let us know what was going on. And then parking I mean no parking they tell you to get there a half an hour before your reservation what they dont tell you is it will take you 1 hour to find parking and walk to the wagons.
Really good light displays, boarding process could be better organized
Great being with family. Ride was OK. Fun lights.
I have three words to describe these people: Horrible, horrible, horrible!True story: I bought tickets for myself, my wife, and my niece for a hayride through Winterhaven. We loaded up on the wagon....and were just sitting there. No one is telling us theres a problem or even whats going on, were just sitting there. Finally after about 20 minutes or so I ask whats going on. I was told that there was a flat tire on one of the wagons. I asked if the flat tire was on the wagon that we were in and was told no. So...whats the problem then? Well, they said that all the wagons have to stay together. My patience ran out after well over 45 minutes had gone by. Just as we got off the wagon...then it finally starts going. Well, the experience was already ruined for me. I wanted a refund. Get this...the person working the booth said that the money was with someone on one of the wagons, and that I would have to wait for them to return to get my money back.I got my money back, but ended up walking through Winterhaven that evening which was already ruined by this point.Steer clear of these people. Do the bike thing or the trolley instead, or walk, or anything else.
