This was so much fun!! Me and two friends ended up booking this last minute (surprise opening) and it was such a dream. The river was absolutely beautiful and our guide, Chris, was so knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. I get a little nervous getting into adventurous things but Chris attention to detail and strong communication made me feel really safe. And we killed it!! 10/10 would do again. The hardest rafting zones werent that bad but really exciting. The perfect mix of chill, scenic, and fun.

My group had a really wonderful experience with this rafting company. It was so easy to book the trip, and my requested adjustments to the reservation were managed efficiently (thanks, Beth)! The emails in advance of the trip answered all our questions, and the staff at the check-in point were great. Teagan had everything well organized, and plans were clearly communicated. We jumped on the bus for the 2 minute ride to the put-in spot, and geared up. Josh was the guide for my group, and he happily accommodated our request for a quick photo before the group shoved off. Unfortunately, I had a bum ankle and couldnt raft, but the awesome Henry (busdriver) very kindly offered to let me tag along on the bus to the take-out location, which was just below the vantage point of the professional photographer, at the Jaws rapid! I was able to walk upriver to the vantage point, and watch as the rafts came through the rapid. I could easily see that my group, and the other groups too, were all having a blast. It was a short walk back to where they took out, and my group was over the top excited about how much fun theyd had. A quick bus ride back to the base location, and it was a wrap. I believe this rafting company makes safety their number one concern, and also goes out of their way to reassure inexperienced rafters about the experience. The positive attitude and welcoming vibe was consistent among the various staff members with whom I interacted that day. I hope to take advantage of the discount they offered if I can fit a trip in before the end of the season. I highly recommend this company.

What a fun time! Family of 4 and 2 new friends from Houston enjoyed rafting the Truckee River with our guide Dan Carlin. Dan was also the trip leader and did an outstanding job of welcoming us, informing us what to expect and perhaps the unexpected! Dans safety talk was thorough and he made a potentially boring presentation fun. Dans experience and knowledge as a river guide was apparent from the start. Bonus was his knowledge of local history which made for interesting conversation as we floated during the first part of the trip. Dans precise and clear instructions as we went through pinball, jaws and the other rapids was excellent. A great time on the Truckee! The teams care and concern during these very unusual days was spot on. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I loved every minute of rafting on the South Fork American River. It was my first time, and his second time, and it was the greatest experience a first-timer could ever have. Brooke did an AMAZING job giving everyone clear instructions of rafting basics and Melissa, our guide, was absolutely PHENOMENAL and kept us safe the entire time. We dubbed her our raft mom because she always made sure we were comfortable. JD was also extremely helpful on the phone in explaining all the different types of rafting available and helping my boyfriend and I decide which experience would suit us best. All in all, Id recommend this company in a heartbeat and will be coming back soon! Thanks Brooke, Melissa and JD for a wonderful experience!

Super fun rafting trip on the Truckee River. Great guides... funny and experienced. Dont be fooled by the size of the Truckee. Its super fun. If you can get Cowabunga Dan as your guide youll be truly blessed.

We had the best time rafting down the Truckee! Chris was our guide and was so helpful making first timers feel comfortable and was full of knowledge. Would definitely recommend and try to go again during my next Tahoe trip.

This was a really great rafting trip professional and just unbelievably fun. DAN was are guide and was really knowledgeable about the river which made it great too. Well worth the money and the experience you get. My son and I plan to do more trips with this company !!!! Loved it you will too. Way to go DAN !!

Our guide Dan Carlin was awesome! He we so good, quick, at getting us out of the water. We had wonderful time and would do it again; sooner than later only if live close by.

Beautiful trip on the Truckee River - our whole family enjoyed it tremendously. So beautiful and so fun. Great way to get out and enjoy Nature and fresh air, and have a blast. Alli is the best guide!

Had an amazing time. Matt was hilarious and our guide, Tegan, was the best. Beautiful views and great rapids. Stay of calm but then you hit level 2 and 3 which make it a great adventure. Will be back!

We did the Truckee River rafting & thanks to our guide Corey we had a blast! My mom does not know how to swim and was extremely terrified of going on this adventure. Our guide had her with him and made sure she never hit the water! We were a large group of 7 and I must admit a little uncoordinated but Corey worked with us and we were on beat in no time! Not to mention he is BILINGUAL, having him talk and say rafting instructions in Spanish eased both my mom & dad. Our experience was amazing, thanks again Corey!

I really liked this trip. I thought it would be really scary but I had a blast. It was so fun. Hope to do it again soon.

These guys knew exactly what they were doing today when my family went on the half-day trip on the Truckee River. With a 12 yr-old and 2 8 yr-olds, our guide Chris was thorough and clear. The tour leader Charlie was also very thorough. We felt safe at all times and had a blast. This is a top notch/professional operation

We just got off the morning Boca trip. All the guides were fun, professional and well organized.. We flipped in Jaws and it was neat to see how quickly all the guides rescued the swimmers. Great work yall. Charlie, it was a pleasure having met you and being in your boat. Float On!

So... boring, tired, old dad, took his teenagers on this trip and not that I am now the cool dad, but closer. Lee, Anna, Josh, (sorry bad with names) EVERYONE was super attentive, friendly and helpful. I very highly recommend Adventure Connection-Raft California to families, first-timers-like us, adrenaline junkies, and any parent who needs a boost in there coolness. Also, of note especially to me, the crew used mature professional dare I say even clean language, so refreshing!!! All in all we had a great experience and I would give them a 10 star rating if possible. We so will be going again.

Our guide Jason was excellent. He was knowledgeable and reassured our safety. It was a fun family experience.

I did not have a chance ride with this company because of my back injury but watching their organization at the pickup site and what I saw of their operation it was very organized. When speaking to one of the employees she was very friendly and provided information about their excursions. I would give them a try.

The Boca raft trip was the highlight of our Tahoe family vacation. We brought our 4 grandchildren ( ages 11 - 15) for an outdoor experience and the BOCA raft ride with our guide, Joe, was hands down the best part of our trip. The scenery is spectacular and the 2 & 3 level rapids provided a thrill for all. We never thought Grandpa would be the one who fell out of the raft.... the Pinball rapids did it .. but Joe had him back and upright in a flash. These guys are professionals who make the experience safe and enjoyable. The photos are awesome too.Hint to those staying in South Lake Tahoe: We started out at 7:30 AM on the highway going around the East side of Lake Tahoe headed for Kings beach & Truckee. The road construction narrowed to one lane 3 times and we arrived at 9:25 for a 9:15 AM raft ride. We had alerted the staff and thank all for giving us great memories. :)

What a wonderful experience, these guys are true professionals! I was terrified to go, but felt very comfortable with our guide who made the whole experience fun!
