Donner Summit Historical Society

Had an amazing visit with Norm Sayler. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a vast collection of historical memorabilia and paraphernalia from the surrounding area. I highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance.

I love museums and although this is small, its packed with items not found elsewhere. Super interesting and well worth a visit. Great scenery around the place is an added bonus!

Easy to get too. Fun little place to play. Chair lift & tubbing.

A hidden GEM, the 20 Mile Museum in Soda Springs is a must for anyone that loves history.

Love his pleace specially in winter

The man that runs it is a former Olympian that who grew up locally. He knows so much about Tahoe, past and present. The place is full of awesome old photographs and pieces of history.

Some cool stuff in here, but the building may need to be condemned. It is pretty much one old mans attic full of junk, it smells REALLY bad, and the old guy who runs the place is best avoided.

Great beginner resort, old school no thrills family friendly

A great place to learn about the very rich and colorful history of the Summit. On the way to the historical Donner pass.

Great museum and lots of hiking options and close to Donner Lake.

What a gem of a place. Full of old equipment and books. The last old timer in the area.
