Not exactly an athletic field, but its a nice place to walk around with people in any setting except maybe pouring rain.
For the most part the area is really well kept and when the weather is nice it is a great place to hang out and do some fun outdoor activities. Its free to use, but is intended for students who attend the university. There isnt any real parking nearby so park at a nearby lot, the north lot is pretty close. In the winter they put up lights and other decorations on the light posts and trees, makes the area nice and festive. We recent had our first snow and it was all salted and shoveled before having to walk to class which is really nice. Its easy to get around with some sidewalk paths for those who need extra accessibility, there is one flight of stairs, but there is a round about path attached to the road.
I must say the blades of grass are simply exquisite.
Kinda snowy but a great place to throw a frisbee.
Kinda mushy in the middle during the rainier parts of the year, but generally pretty nice. Lots of people play Frisbee or football (both varieties) here! Theres even benches nearby! Not very private though: theres lots of pathways around where people walk all the time
Athletic ground.... Well mentioned
Nice place for RPI sports
It is definitely a field. Cannot confirm if it is the 86th field, but that sounds pretty reasonable
Ok, but not transformative enough
Bad very very bad
Its a field. I give it 5/7 stars.
The walkways are weird and go off in odd diagonals to nowhere!
