A beautiful Historic site. Pleasant staff and tour guides. They had an awesome apple program wit apple cider pressing and a fine hearth cook poaching apples over a braizer. The aroma was heavenly!!

The property for whom the City of Trenton is named.Wall property near the Delaware River. In the part of the city considered downtown. Flanked by 2 courthouses and large surface parking lots. I like see the contrast between the architecture. This non-profit org is a fixtured in Trenton and more recently has shifted focus on inclusion. My most recent visit was for a committee meeting discussing the African Slaves who lived on the property and their efforts.

Pretty to walk the grounds in spring and summer. They charge a fee to go into the house and take a tour. Nice example of how people lived during that time period. The summer garden is cool.

It is unfortunate that such a historic property is so poorly attended to. The grounds are a mess and uninviting.

I was lost. An amazingly generous and kind man in a white Subaru Legacy guided me onto the highest and shepherded me along until I came to the correct interchange to take me back to the Midwest. I was in despair and found that angels do walk among us and help when least expected. I will never forget that wonderfully kind gentleman!
