Beautiful outdoor seating with tables with umbrellas. Great prices, book it online in advance. I went with a party of 4. Our flights were covered with the 10 dollar a person online reservation. The scenery is breath taking with the hills of grape vines and distant water view. The wine was fantastic. They also have an indoor shop that included sealed food to go with your wine. Easily 5 stars besides a check out clerk who treated my party like children when our ride fell through and we had to wait for another hour. I didnt grab her name, as I try not to name people in these situations however I should have. Our server told us he would get us some more glasses and we were welcome to open a bottle of wine while we waited outside on the patio. The clerk told me that was not allowed but didnt stop there: she wouldnt let me buy a wine opener and a bottle for the hotel because she didnt believe me that we werent going to drink. She came and took all of our glasses from the tasting and lectured the group to the point where one of my guests told her she had made her point 5 times and it was understood. Really poor way to end things and we did not come back with our cars before the trip home for the bottles of wine we couldnt carry because of it. We sat in the rain without even water and waited for our ride back to the hotel.
Great views, but better wine and service at other vineyards in Old Mission Peninsula. The host told me to preorder certain amount of money on my account for wine because they were booked in the main hall, this was a lie. The manager was very dismissive about basic questions regarding the wine and lectured me about CV-19 because my mask slipped under my nose for a second. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy and not inclusive to a social scene.
Chateau Chantal is beautiful. Surrounded by vineyards with a view of the Grand Traverse Bay, the European-style winery doubles as a bed and breakfast. But we went for the wine pairing dinner, set outside on the patio overlooking the view during the sunset. The tables were all properly spaced out for social distancing and the servers wore masks. The four course dinner was delicious, especially the Peppercorn Crusted Filet Mignon (paired with 2016 Proprietors Reserve Trio). Definitely recommend the wine pairing dinner!
Visited in September 2020. Very popular so book in advance. Our party of four enjoyed the attractive outdoor seating with tables with umbrellas, though we didnt like the high top chairs so much.. Great wines and good prices. Theyve simplified the flights for quicker ordering, but mixing and matching was allowed. The scenery is excellent, but not as satisfying as Mari vineyards as parts of the viewshed are blocked.
Such a gorgeous view from their patio/deck!We made a reservation and had to wait in line a bit to get inside. They had plastic up between the bartenders and guests which made us feel safer. They had less registers open to check out which I think is what made the wait a little longer. My husband and I each created a flight of 3 wines to try. They had a few cheese and cracker type snack options that we took advantage of too. There was plenty of room out on the deck and we enjoyed beautiful views while drinking our wine. I really enjoyed a Trio wine and ended up buying a bottle. The wine bottles were a little pricey, but they did have some cheaper fruit options if you were trying to stay in budget. On our way out we found out there was another patio area in the front of the building that you could also drink your wine on. Overall, its a beautiful view and location that we will definitely be coming back to.
Wine tasting this weekend. The setting is gorgeous. However we had reservations at 4:00 and at 4:30 the owner came around and told us we were supposed to be limited to 50 mins and other people were waiting. My friends had ordered glasses of wine and weren’t even finished and there were PLENTY of empty tables. Made us feel very unwelcome and we thus decided not to purchase ANY wine! The old man walking around talking to people was very sweet! I think he was the original owner. I wonder how he would feel knowing we were treated so rude. Other wineries on Mission Point are very nice even with the Covid restrictions. Maybe visit some and take some pointers.
Do NOT pay extra for a reservation, complete waste of money. My wife and I were excited to visit this winery because we made an indoor reservation that cost $60. When we made the reservation we made a comment to the nice young lady about how excited we were to sit inside and not freeze our butts off outside. When we got to the winery on the day of our reservation we were extremely surprised and very disappointed to find that almost every large door in their indoor space was wide open making the inside just as cold as the outside. Not a single heater running inside. We noticed a group of people complained to staff about paying extra to sit inside and how cold it was to watch in amazement as staff promptly asked that group of people to leave. We also heard many other groups of people complain about the conditions for an “indoor” reservation. Absolutely nothing was said to us at the time of the reservation that the temperature would be the same inside and out and all doors would be open. We paid an extra $20 to sit inside for absolutely no reason. The staff also claimed that the doors had to be open, yet restaurants are allowed to seat to capacity requirements with no windows or doors open. Pretty sure that was BS. Won’t be going back!
Making advance reservations here was kind of confusing. We had to book and prepay for the equivalent of 4 persons, even though there are only two of us. The extra money would be applied to more wine. I wanted to secure a spot inside just in case the weather was bad, so I followed the instructions and prepaid. Upon arrival, the host told us we could get a refund for the extra cost, and that was easily done. Seating here was actually outside in a covered patio, and that was fine for the weather today. Although the sun is now hiding behind some clouds, its not too chilly. We sampled two of the wines, which Id rate as okay. I was happy to see that small dogs were allowed here. The grounds of the estate are beautiful. There is an inn onsite. Im thinking its a beautiful spot for an event. There was a table set up with thermometers, but no one was taking temperatures today. The staff is all protected with masks, and so are we. I was surprised to see Chantel Wines in a can. I understand this is the newest trend in wine. I forgot to buy a can on the way out!
This place is great! The staff is super friendly and helpful! The wines are delicious. The flights are the perfect way to discover your palate. Bought some of the cherry salsa and I cant wait to try it!Gorgeous views of the vineyard on the patio. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 Will return.
Best winery on Old Mission Peninsula! Hailey was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful visit! She is one of a kind and Chateau Chantal is lucky to have her! Cant wait to go back!
Even though the lady on the phone I made reservations with was less than friendly I had a great time! This was my first wine tasting experience and the employee went over options and helped pick me out some good ones to try (only wine Ive had before this was Arbor Mist...gross yes I know) it was a bit brisk on the porch due to all the covid rules but we still had a good time. I would definitely go back again when we could order more than 3 per person per reservation!
My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for one night. Our jaws dropped as we drove up the hill to this absolutely gorgeous winery. The view is amazing! We stayed in the Cassett room. It was perfect with a very comfortable bed and large, clean tile shower. We received an unexpected complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival which we drank while watching the sun go down. The vegetarian breakfast that we requested was delicious. The location was great. I highly recommend this outstanding bed and breakfast.
Thank you for making my job as a wine tour guide easy! My group loved the Nice Red and the Ice Wine... thanks again! Ill be back - Mike Magic Shuttle Bus
Decent experience, but did not meet expectations.--Wife and I went wine tasting for the day with another couple. We visited ten vineyards total during our weekend stay in the area. We are amateur wine tasters in every sense.THE GOOD:Beautiful vineyard driveway. Awesome 360 views of rolling vineyards. Large patio deck.THE BAD:Service wasnt exceptional. The wine was average - we ordered both a dry and a sweet flight. We did not finish the flights, it wasnt good enough to want to finish it.The place felt very commercialized in general.Womens bathroom smelled like an animal died and was rotting in them.
AMAZING. What an atmosphere as you could not ask for anything more. Beautiful views, excellent staff, and wines. Thank you for the great experience. By far one of the best wineries in the area. This is a must visit winery!
Despite these crazy times right now we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Chateau Chantal! The service and hospitality was wonderful! I felt like it was my home away from home! Wonderful views from both patios, sunsets did not disappoint! We also enjoyed the wine dinner as well, the wine specialist Will was phenomenal! We will be back next year! Thank you!
REVISED: I received a call this morning from Chateau Chantal letting me know their system was showing my reservation had been cancelled. I checked my credit card statement and it is showing as being credited. The notification email I received was indeed caught in my spam. It appears all of the issues I complained about below were caught by safety features and I should have done a better job at double checking.I booked a tasting for a foursome months in advance. I have been calling and emailing the winery in an attempt to cancel the reservation or get an answer on what my options are for cancelling. I received one call back with a message saying to make a reservation, visit our website. Have left additional messages reiterating I want to cancel an existing reservation, no response. I had to pay in advance and would prefer to not just donate the funds to an organization that isnt willing to respond to a persons request. Hoping this public comment will prompt a response from the winery.
Classy, classy, classy!!! Bob the owner is not only hard working but a good person. During our stay at his amazing B&B, there was a slight inconvenience and Bob handled it with such Grace. God Bless you Bob!! I would highly recommend Chateau Chantal to anyone looking to have an amazing experience with breathtaking views.
We visited Chateau Chantal on Friday, September 18th with a reservation. The views are fantastic, with water views from both sides of the winery! We loved the large patio and music. This is a good winery to visit! Of the wines we tasted, we both liked the Trio, and one of us liked the Malbec. We bought the Trio to take home. There are a lot of visitors here, more than at other wineries. **A reservation doesn’t get you a table, but it gets you in the door much quicker. You have to then go find a table on the patio, which was fairly easy.** To the management: (1) the only friendly employee we encountered was the kind lady at the bar who recommended which wines to taste, and poured them for us. She was very nice. (2) the restrooms need more attention to cleaning.
Have visited for years as views are beautiful. Wine is fair. Service has fallen off. Most recent visit in early October was with a group of six and staff was extremely snarky. Wine tasting is supposed to be social and fun. This was not!
We stopped at three wineries (2 lads, chateau chantel and bowers harbor). Of the three chateau chantel had the tastiest wines but smaller pours than bowers. The view is of course fantastic on the outside. The inside however has gone down hill. I’ve been coming to this winery for a decade and on this last visit all the ambiance I remembered on the inside was gone. Somethings were unavoidable, like large shower curtains that need to be hung to protect from Covid, but the amount of fruit flies were disgusting. When my boyfriend and I were checking out merchandise we noted that the clothing was coated in bugs. It was very disappointing to see as this winery has always been TOP for me.
Come here for the view. It is beautiful. Service is ok. Wine is ok. All very light. Sweet tasting, dry tasting, and a reserve tasting. You can make your own as well!
Poor custamor service!!!! The guy at the register ignored us, while he packed a wine order, then we could hardly understand him with the mask. He needed to speak up. Said we needed a reservation even though, literally no one else was around. When he finally acknowledged us, we started the reservation process, then more customers came in. He CLEARLY needed help at the front. There were other workers just standing around at the bar. We finally just left, frustrated and took our money elsewhere. A few details would EASILY have fixed the problem, 1. SPEAK UP!! masks are necessary right now but you need to speak up to be understood. 2. A couple colleagues couldve come and helped him, while they waited for people at the bar. 3. He couldve acknowledged us when we first walked in. Needs basic courtesy instruction!
What a wonderful 5 course dinner and wine paring. It was do delicious and I would recommend it for a romantic dinner or fun couples night out!
We only stayed for wine and dinner but the staff was great and accommodated our every request. Views are gorgeous and the wine is superb. The wine connoisseur Bill was delightful and informative.
Stayed 2 nights and loved it, the service was great and the breakfast was awesome. My wife is gluten free and the chief made everything gluten free and it tasted great.
Most iconic views in Northern Michigan! The Pinot Noir and Malbec, sitting on the West Patio watching the sun set was awesome. Make a reservation online as the restrictions for spacing due to CoVid19 are obviously different than years past. Friendly staff and did mention the view oh yeah and the wines are pretty damn amazing too. The wine dinner was icing on the day!!
One of the older and more well established wineries on the Old Mission Peninsula. Views are amazing from the entire property.
Beautiful winery on Hilltop and beautiful building with multiple patios . When we arrived they collect your money up front without showing you a wine menu. They make you sign up for their contracted membership or they wont let you in. Due to Covid, they have pre loaded flights and the combos are awful. When we got our wine, it was a chilly day and we did not want to sit outside. The staff told us it would be an additional charge to sit inside AFTER you purchase their wine with a tip... really? Awful awful experience I would not waste your time, effort, or money here.
So disappointed in this place price gouging for a table for a reservation $60.00! Hope you get something they didnt mention it. Normally we spend a few hundred due to this extra 60.00 they now got 0 dollars! I dont pay to get a table to eat dinner at a restaurant .Reply to below - The website and person that answered the phone did not state any of the information listed below.
Chateau Chantal is my absolute favorite winery anywhere! Love the cooking classes & the dinners too!
Wonderful little stop on our road trip. Gorgeous views, just breath taking.. Wine was a treat. Staff was very nice and helpful. Must stop or stay.
The outdoor seating was a little disappointing. We even had an 11am reservation and the seating was lacking. The hostess who greeted us was very nice and welcoming.
We often visit Chateau Chantel not only for the yummy wine but the experience and impeccable service. Unfortunately this time our experience and service was dampened by Matt the server and the manager. Simple questions were asked, in which he replied with the roll of his eyes, a disgusted sigh, and answers the reflected that he was “put out.” We brought family to the wineries and to our disappointment CC was not up to its normal customer service. I was extremely embarrassed by the treatment our first timer guests received. My husband and I own a business and would be mortified if we had a customer that was dissatisfied. We would do anything to make it right for a customer. We spoke to the manager about Matt and honestly, she didn’t seem too concerned. I didn’t expect any compensation (which there was none) but she could have acknowledged our frustration. Nope. I will be back, hoping that the service is just as good as their wine and the view. I truly hope the manager reviews public relations with Matt.
Wine was great. Atmosphere was impersonal. Most wineries have great conversations with their customers. This one just didnt. We heard they were like this but we tried it anyway.
The ONLY reason why it’s not 1 is cuz of the wines and the views. Buckle in folks....So we made reservations online. They are only accepting groups of 4 and we had 5 so we decided to add our other member on at the winery. We paid online for reservations ($10 a person for 3 tastes) which is the only way to make them right now. They have an outdoor seating area with no reservations for groups over 4 but due to the lack of answering phones we didn’t know that. We got there and were told our table was inside and to get in line, grab our flights and head to any open table. Upon arriving in the room an older lady with short hair told me my mask I was wearing wasn’t” good enough” and proceeded to tell me I had to wear one of the ones they provided even though I was already sitting. I didn’t argue. The man at the bar said it was okay since they were slow to add a fifth person to the the table. This same lady gave us a huge problem with that aswell even though we already paid! A table next to us who had 4 seats, only 2 in use offered for our member to sit with them. This lady was so rude telling us no, saying they were at full capacity even though at least 4 tables were completely empty! Honesty one of the RUDEST women I’ve ever met.The wine: the wine was so good. I really liked the sweet flight and ended up ordering a glass of the select Harvest. The views are breathtaking too. Please get better staff. Some of us have medical restrictions and cannot wear certain masks. I was wearing A MASK and it’s accepted every where else. Will NOT be back.EDIT: Your reply is amazingly rude coming from a manager or owner. The way we were treated was awful and your logic of the dinning room being full when it wasnt was incredibly ignorant. There were 15, to 20 tables in this room and only 4 or 5 were occupied. Dont tell me THAT was capacity-even with covid seating limitations! A table of 2 offered our extra member a seat and you (im assuming you were the lady who was rude to us) no longer had an argument. Obviously covid is real and we understood your rules but the way you handled yourself was uncalled for. ALSO, you have no right to tell anyone what kind of mask they wear. I wore that mask because I have asthma and cannot breathe in one. Rather than waste my time and energy arguing I found a way to be compliant . It simply does not make any sense to force us to wear a mask in the room UNLESS we are siping wine..its not like the table becomes a force field once we are seated. The room was completely dead and didnt fill up, so your lying on that end. Also we did end up moving outside after the hate you gave us. Please do your research before you tell someone what kind of mask they can and cant wear.
Rude employees especially the “hostess” Liz, I suggest that if you dislike your job as much as you show it to your customers that you find some other type of employment, particularly not customer facing! The winery itself is nice but because of the treatment by this hostess, (hopefully she isn’t a manager) we will never return here.
Very poor experience with phone lines that dont connect to anyone to ask questions, website is not updated as jazz event was cancelled one hour before starting but there was no alert. The management style at this facility is not customer focused but product focused, which will not have long terms benefits.
Stayed at the B&B for three days and opted for a dinner on the patio one right. Unfortunately consistently encountered poor service and rude staff on the property. The dinner was also underwhelming as the staff forgot that we had requested a vegetarian friendly option and after some back and forth with the wait staff we were ultimately served cold and bitter grilled portobello for the main entre. How does a restaurant mess up grilled portobello?!? Overall not the great experience we were hoping for.
Pre COVID, this was a great place to visit. Post COVID, wine tasting was a horrible experience. The only reason I 3 stars instead of 2 is because my wife and Ive been going here for 20 years, and until now its always been a 5. We were checked in like we had Ebola then routed through the winery by the arrows on the floor like cattle in chutes. Not one of the staff made us feel welcome let alone appreciated. The server was in a plastic tent and had no interest in talking to anyone. Maybe he new nothing about wine. The whole experience was as impersonal as could be. We had just come from Left Foot Charlies in TC which was an awesome experience. Besides the masks, you almost forgot about the Pandemic at LFC! The only thing CC had going for it was the view from their patio which is magnificent. That being said, the view wasnt worth the trip. My suggestion would be if they are that concerned about COVID, they just close the doors until their fear subsides.
On my honeymoon and Really disappointed with service. Arrived to Chateau and required to immediately pay outside before entering. No options were presented regarding seating, flights or services. Once inside, server told us we had to pay extra to stay inside. Not only were heaters not on, but staff was just as cold and impersonal. Most definitely will not come back here.
Beautiful winery and grounds. Nice tasting room. Lovely deck with gorgeous views. Doesnt hurt that you can see both East and West Bay from this winery. Why not sip some great local wines with this as a back drop?!
This place was so beautiful and the staff was SO awesome! We stayed at the bed and breakfast for one night (Sunday) on a long weekend trip. The views are incredible and the staff is so welcoming. We were able to do self guided wine tastings later at night after the tasting room closed which was great because we were out on a tour earlier in the day. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic, and the tour was really cool. We felt like we were living in a Pure Michigan commercial our entire stay.
My Wife and I went to 4 wineries last week, this winery provided the best view. The service was fast and we did not have to wait. The only wish I had was that the staff took more time to explain the wines. We understood it was more challenging for this bc of covid.
Wine is good. Tastings are difficult work covid. Food is below part with covid.
I enjoyed the experience! I went with some friends to experience the 7-course wine dinner. Not only was the food really good, but the sommelier knew everything about the wine we were served and why it was paired with the food. We also got a small cellar tour, which was cool. I highly recommend this for visitors if youve got it in the budget!
Great family winery. Owners are ex-priest and ex-nun who followed another dream. Their Daughter Marie runs the day to day. We enjoyed a tour and tasting. Loved the Entice, fortified ice wine and the Cinq a Sept oak aged brandy! Stunning B & B!
Great set up and no wait. Service was great and wine even better!
This has always been our favorite winery. We have been coming here for years. On Monday, June 8th, we were very disappointed with our experience. Two small pours of wine (5 oz) plus a service fee was $25.20. To purchase a bottle of Chardonnay, which is what we were drinking, is $15. We were not allowed to do that. I tried to ask the gentleman serving us some questions and he was very reluctant to answer them. He mumbled something and brushed us off. Although we love the wine probably will go somewhere else next time. I don’t mind spending $25.20 on two glasses of wine but please give me a bigger pour.
Alex behind the bar made the best suggestions to my cousin and I. Be sure to say Hi to her and tip her well as she is awesome!
They say they close at 5pm. And by that they mean if you walk in at 4:45pm and ask to buy a bottle of wine to go, theyll say no and ask you to leave.Edit... Given the positive response by the owner, well try again next time were in town. Hopefully it was just an employee anxious to go home and not thinking about the impression he made.
Gorgeous scenery and view outside. Affordable wine tasting and pretty delicious wine. Spring and fall visits were both amazing. Loved the fall, as the colors were breathtaking.
Excellent views. Wine was amazing. 10 across the board
Service was complete garage. Save your money and go to Brys estate vineyard winery... it’s worth your money.
Weve been here many times and the views are incredible. Great and delicious wine selection, too.
Overrated! Poor and rude service especially from the hostess and average wine. Much better wineries on Old Mission that treat you better too
I realize everyone is a bit Covid weary, but I listened/ watched an employee being snippy to customers regarding where they were standing, how their masks were fitting, dont come around corner of plexiglass etc. Afterwards I visited a neighboring winery and had a much more pleasant experience. Just saying.
The views here are amazing, grab a glass or flight and relax outside.
Beautiful scenery/view of the water on both east and west of Old Mission peninsula! Wine tasting was about $7 for 6 types of wine each with tiny sips or $10 for 3 glasses of wine. Obviously went with the $10 choice. Interesting wine. They apparently provided wine for the White House State Dinner hosted by Obama for Justin Trudeau.Well worth the visit for wine and scenery.
Visited Chateau Chantal for a wine tasting. They had great service and nice views of the Traverse Bay from the tasting rooms and patios. The wines and ciders were interesting and tasted excellent - everyone in our group liked at least one drink, including those who dont generally drink wine.
The lady inside was very rude! Will not come back to this place again!
My wife and I come here every year. Amazing, staff, hospitality and of course wine. It will always be a special place for us and would recommend it to anyone.(Yes you may use my review. I can’t reply to your post so I edited the original)
Beautiful views the wine is great. The owner was so nice
What a nice place overlooking both bays. Sampled wine and enjoyed a little live music.
The views at the winery were amazing and the staff was so friendly. We did the Quaf and Nosh and the experience was delightful. Bill, our server, was so fun and animated. He made the experience even more joyous. The wine was delicious and the food was spectacular.
We love this winery! If you like sweet wines this is your place to go too! The bubbly Cherry wine is our all time favorite! The view is amazing too in all seasons!
Friendly customer service, great nice, beautiful building and grounds
Great place to sit and enjoy wine. Spectacular view and a huge selection of wines to imbibe.
This is my most favoritewineryin the T.C. area..Fantastic views from the patio.
Beautiful scenery and nice place all-around with good selection of wines.
1 star for the view. Required to have a reservation, which essentially only gets you a spot in line, nothing more. The interior feels very comercial, not on par with their property. Wines were overly simplistic, bland, and did not leave any impressions on us.
The hospitality that was shown to us over the weekend was above and beyond. I’m still in awe with their trust system for the B&B guests. We had 24hr access to the wine room, kept track of our own purchases to avoid the lines, and simple rule is to make yourself at home and enjoy. The special treatment, 7 course dinner, gourmet breakfasts and stunning views will have us back in the near future. Goodbye for now until next time Chateau Chantal!Friendly Tip: We stayed 3 nights in the French School Suite and it’s absolutely beautiful!
Best place to view Old Mission Peninsula
The Naughty Cherry Cider is almost the best thing Ive tasted. And Bill is awesome!
Favorite wine in the area. Bed and Breakfast for 4 days, 3 nights was amazing. Treated like family and a very home like feel. The breakfast every morning is fantastic. The views are top notch. The rooms are very luxurious. Highly recommend the tour. Again the wines are amazing. Something for everyones taste buds. Will definitely be back, and a vacation we will remember forever. Thanks to everyone at Chateau Chantal!
A delightful meandering drive through the vineyard to the top of the hill where a tasting room and patio with views of both bays awaits. Great way to raise a glass of wine and enjoy fine conversation.
I love this winery. It is possible that they have the best view from their back deck than any other winery on Old Mission Peninsula. It is a very big tasting room - they have an extremely large deck and multiple bars for tastings. It was very busy here, which is not a surprise. The wine is all very good, but the amount of wines that they have is insane. It is almost too much to be able to choose from.I would highly recommend trying the Cherry Bubbly. It was so good that we ended up leaving with several cans of it.The bartender that we had was pretty good - he seemed like he likes his job!My only complaint about this place is that the fruit flies are crazy bad. Maybe it is because the wine is good!?
Great wine and great people
Amazing place, breathtaking views during the summer and winter, they also have and outdoor firepit during the winter season to stay warm. The wine is good, wouldnt say the best I have had tho.
Great environment and good selection of wines!
Beautiful views, wine was so so.
Loved the wine and the two patios with breath taking views. I really liked how they had different options for tasting. Instead of just having your traditional 6 pours at the counter you could opt for 3 larger pours to take on the patio.
My wife and I have stayed here at the bed and breakfast a couple of times and it is everything and moreWe all know that the wine is great. But the staff is so friendly and they make us feel at home. Each room is unique with a great decor. The breakfast is awesome and we like how the chef comes out and talks to everyone before we eat.The room comes with some free tastings. The deck is huge with a great view. There are a lot of awesome wineries in the area and this one just might be right at the top.
Favorite wine on the peninsula. Great service. Good specials for tastings. Amazing views.
We belong to their wine club. What a great deal.
Love this place, love your wine, drove 1hr and 20 mins just for a bottle of your wine. Bought 3. Although to the guy who would not sell me a glass of it because he said cut off was at 330 and it was 317 after a terrible day of let downs. Why, why guy??Merry Christmas!!!
We stop here EVERY time we visit traverse city! Love the wine first and for most but the staff here are excellent as well! Always friendly and helpful! Love the views as well!
Vee was wonderful with assisting with which wines to try by your preferred taste! She was very knowledgeable and super sweet! Love the Late Harvest Reisling!
Top notch. Be sure to ask for bill. Best guide ever. Very knowledgeable about wine, but very casual in his delivery. I will return every year. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful!
Great wine and beautiful view.
Great winery for a tasting with beautiful views!
Not as expensive as you would think for a fancier place!
The view is beautiful, the staff is very kind, and they offer a large selection of wine. However the wine has not left an impression on me. This winery is usually one of the first winerys I come to visit because of the large patio and view it offers. But again, the wine is ok.
This is a must every time we are in traverse city! My favorite wine is the nice white wine. The late harvest Riesling was very good too! We also enjoyed the naughty apple cider! Go check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
Beautiful views. Great deals on wine tasting. We did a couple of wine flights and it was a great value. Knocking a star because one of the sparkling wines I ordered was flat.
