We went to a concert in theatre under the tent given by a group from Interlochen. The atmosphere was casual but the musicians were talented and dedicated. The performance (viola, piano, clarinet and vocal) was wonderful. The only minor problem was there might be some interference from traffic noise as the venue was in the open.

In visiting for the weekend visiting. Went to the Christmas Carol play. Little different take on it. Turned out very nice. The chairs were fantastic

Coming from a big city we had our expectations about local play houses. Well, we went to see the play Elf and as a parent I was not thrilled with several of the words and phrases that were written into the script. Had I known beforehand I would not have taken my children to see what I thought was a family play. The facility itself was fine, and is even handicap accessible, BUT beware that the handicap parking fills up fast. So, will we go again, maybe...I will just call ahead next time to ask about language and adult/sexual humor that may be included.

A shining old gem in a city full of new age renovations. They offer the premier plays in town along with some smaller off shoots such as their Aged to perfection senior acting club. Their stories are witty, topical, and always well cast. Prices are inexpensive and its a great way to spend 2-3 hours on the weekend with a loved one or close friend.

I love having arts in the community, such a great place for seeing the unique, and the familiar plays.

The Old Town Playhouse rocks!! Their productions are labors of love for theatre and community. The actors, sets, lighting, costumes, music, all so well done. What an asset for our community!

Love this place. There isnt a bad seat in the house. Ive been to about 5 productions now and they have all been top notch. This is more than just some plays on a small town stage.

Every single performance has been EXCELLENT - from the actors, stage settings, volunteers, musicians, to the Parlor Bar set up in the lower level.

A well run playhouse that makes me feel sorrow, laugh and joy everytime I visit! From the actors to the orchestra in the balcony, every seat is a good one for this big little playhouse. Just saw the play ELF with Jon Plough as Buddy, who did a great job! The whole family enjoyed it thoroughly! Hat tip to all those elves too. Even if you are a Scrooge you can go downstairs, get a few drinks to improve your disposition and enjoy the production!

Enjoyed the play The importance of being Earnest at our delightful playhouse. Costumes were amazing, actors did a great job with this fast-paced play, Im proud of being involved in this traverse city gem.

The acting here never disappoints!This Troup of thespians is always all in. They have been doing this superbly for decades! Choose your performance carefully and you will be coming back for more. buy your tickets ahead of time even if you pick them up at will call....so organized and amazing!

Amazing cast! The play was well put together and will definitely be returning. I havent laughed so hard in awhile! Well executed! For the venue, the seats are extremely comfortable, great concessions and bar. Had a great time here!

They redid their theater a while back. Nice seats, but should have been put on more of an elevated slope so that those in the back can see better. Went to the opening night for Tommy. The cast did a good job, but needing to work on some off key voices.

Went to see Christmas Carol, was very good. Actors did a supreme job. You needed to use some imagination, in the right spotsDirector did a fantastic job. Recommend going to see. I will say wasnt a full musical, what there was was done nicely.

This place is quite a experience for anyone to come to. Must come for a musical night not to be forgotten.

Was a great surprise by my husband who got us tickets to see a show. I loved that you could get drinks beforehand and some snacks downstairs. The theatre is comfortable and the sound was fantastic. Support your local Arts! You wont be sorry :)

An excellent community theater! The facility is comfortable with high quality sound and lighting. They present a wide variety of plays offering something for everyone. Old Town also sponsors an excellent youth program for young thespians.

The shows here consistently exceed my expectations. Kids performances are great for introducing the little ones in your life to the joys of theater.

Nice play. The bartender was quite rude during intermission though.

The best place to go for local talent. Great plays, which change frequently. Sunday matinees, and occasionally some bigger name performers come here. I know Olivia Newton-john came here last summer (2017.) Definitely recommend this place for a romantic date night or an entertaining experience for the whole family.

We attended the Durang x Durang play on 11/3/18. The 1st half was assuming and ok. The 2nd half was horrible, disrespectful and did not go anywhere. I should have been a Judas and walked out.

We saw Young Frankenstein and had a great time. Not a bad seat in the place.

Our daughter did the one week acting course here, and LOVED it! The production of Alladin was great, and watching all of the kids smile with pride with the program they put together was incredible.
