Our family had a wonderful time. Our rainy vacation day was saved. Mom, grandma, two teenage girls, and two young boys all had a blast with our creations!

Short vacation to michigan from Indiana for a little beach time and found this little placeNice atmosphere, lots to choice from . Our art was delivered within a week . Happy with the turn out.

We love Hands on Artz! Good selection of items to paint, relaxed environment with plenty of elbow room. Staff is kind and inviting. And - good coffee right around the corner that you can bring in while painting. This place has become part of our annual Traverse City vacation tradition.

Great time. Love the options you can pick from. I used a toucan, to make one of my favorite pokemon, toucannon. It turned out well, and I am very happy with their customer service.

My adult daughters and I had a great time! The girl working there was friendly and helpful. Helpful hints and painting tips were posted all around. The selection of pottery was very nice. The paints, brushes, stamps and tools were all good quality and well maintained. While we were there, there was a young couple, an extended family group and some other small groups. There was plenty of products for us all to use and we each had ample space to create our masterpieces. We had a great time.

Great place to spend an afternoon/evening. Super accommodating for parties and large groups. You are welcome to bring food and beverages in with you! Wide variety of pieces to add your personal touch to. Prices are all inclusive (paint, firing your piece) No need to rush through your item in one visit, you can come back and finish your project as many times as needed! No extra charge. Once completed your item will be ready in a week. After it’s fired it will be food safe and beautiful.

Such a happy little place. I love going here, and have brought several friends in with me. Definitely kid friendly. I have made many projects now, and am allowed to leave it and come back to work on it whenever I please if its not finished in one day. Lots of windows for natural light. Many color choices for paint, and lots of supplies. The lady that runs this is super nice and helpful as well.

A lot of fun to paint and to see what comes out staff is helpful if you have any questions.

A locally owned, family friendly experience. Ive never had a bad time here, even when my kids were being difficult. This is the perfect place to make a personalized gift, create something with your kids to cherish forever, of just head out for a date night!The proprietor of the business is amazing at remembering your name and what you made as it does take some time between creating the art and picking up the final fired and finished product. I was overcharged and almost a week later the owner recognized me and had my refund ready (though I didnt even notice the overcharge) and apologized. I can recommend this to anyone of any age!

Definitly a must visit!!! The prices are way too high so for that i can only give 4 stars i just cant justify 5 stars because the prices are SOOOOO high. However!!! Endless options great & friendly help & dishwasher & microwave safe!

Handz on Art was a great experience! I loved that my teenagers were able to select their pieces, their paint and get to work on their own! It was a a terrific 2 hours! Great family time outing for sure! The owner is so kind, easy going and makes the place feel peaceful! We go back at Christmas time every year!

Hosted an impromptu bday party here. Parking is an absolute confused mess but it was a great time. It was our first time and we were frenzied coming in as to where to place things and where paint/sink/bowls etc were to be placed or were located. I did reserve it as a bday party, bowls and plates were provided but that was for the painting project, not cake and ice cream, although we brought our own it did add to the confusion, we were not told the bowls and plates were for supplies (maybe should have been obvious but we have NEVER been to anything like this), we happened to invite someone who had been there before and showed us the ropes. We were midway into our project and was told about the sinks and rinsing the bowls. It was a learn as you go for us and it added to the chaos. But ... We had a great time over all. I feel our hostess was overwhelmed as well and there was a bit of tension. But things went smoothly. It is a great place to go and let your creative side shine...even if its not so shiny...
