You turned the a great rock venue in to a generic club :(

Let me start off by saying Torrent is not the best club out there for those who are 18+. Ive conducted a research on other clubs, and Torrent is on the lower side based on popularity. The pricing for 18+ is now 15 dollars, compared to last year where the entry fee was 10 dollars. If one were to go on a day when an inexperienced DJ is playing, there are not going to be many people there and one would waste 15 dollars with no reentry (this is for those who are 18+). If the price was lower, more 18+ people would attend this low-average club, and the club would be packed. As for those who are ages 21+, they finally changed the pricing where those who are 21+ are able to enter for free (mainly because people who are 21+ purchase alcoholic drinks). About 3 months ago, the owner of the club charged 21+ men 3 dollars and let 21+ women in for free. Now lets talk about discounts. THERE ARE NO DISCOUNTS, especially for military members. So that basically ends my statement about discounts. To conclude my rant about Torrent. Torrent, in my own definition, is a low-average rated club that essentially creates its own pricing whenever the owner feels like it, and can be sort of packed on days when there is a popular college DJ playing or a popular DJ from another state plays for Torrent.I will conduct another research on this club next year and will submit another review of this club. This club looks amazing on the outside and it is pretty nice too once you get in. The music is on point and the cocktails are so good, you wont et tired. What a great time here. I think I’ll be coming back here from some other group of friends any time soon.

The space was great. Crowd was cool. The dj was ok they could have been better.

Definitely a scene for the locals. Lots of college girls if youre into that, no one here over 26. Decent night club with dance music. Definitely a fun time if youre looking to dance in Towson.

My God child is playing tonight and I would like to enjoy my visit but seating for someone with a handicap is a problem. I have visited several times but can only last about 45 min. Can I bring a folding lawn chair so I can sit?

A fun spot to dance out. Great for EDM fans. The decor is pleasant without being too tacky. The sound system is great, the bar is fairly priced and quick, and the LED wall is nifty. Some will lament the loss of the old Recher Theatre, but judged on its own, Torrent is a decent addition to Towson nightlife

Its terrible. Management thinks it is an exclusive NYC nightclub. It kicks people out for the smallest of reasons. No mention of strict dress code on the website. Says its free admission but thats ladies ON SOME NIGHTS and most of the time $10-$20 for men. I give it three more months before closing.

Nice place to go with friends. Good food, pool tables, friendly college atomosphere.

DEAD On a Saturday night. Had total of ten kids and had two young djs who were hellbent on playing hardcore dance style music that nobody was enjoying.

Good crowd, happening place, and the service is great.

Its ok, if you want to listen to edm all night and overpriced drinks at the bar.
