The farm at Hampton National Historic Site provides a different perspective on life at the Hampton plantation and shouldn’t be missed. There are ten historic buildings and lots of information about the lives of servants and enslaved people. Many of the buildings are open to the public, but they close a bit earlier than the mansion so don’t save them for last. The guided tours and special programs are really interesting. Check at the visitor for times and info.
