Went to a wedding here and it was fabulous! Lots and lots of glitz and glamour. Food was delicious and hot. The salad and bread were fresh. What seemed to be an endless supply of appetizers were amazing and tastey. The waiters were charming and very attentive. Beautiful, Classy Country Club inside and out.

I attended my best friends sons wedding last weekend and I was blown away by this venue. As you approach the mansion (and it is) you are greeted by a big wrap around front porch. Enter through the authentic front doors and you land in a beautiful foyer, decorated with a antique feel. There are open sitting rooms, a fireplace, beautiful wooden steps and a beautiful decorated dining room outside the main festivity room. The place oozes old-time, classy. The bar room has a feel of nostalgia with pictures and memorabilia of Art Donovan hanging on the walls. Yes, Art Donovan owned and lived in this mansion and his son still runs it. Matter of fact, he serves as a bartender and is very friendly. I didnt want to take up too much of his time but he didnt have a problem telling me a few interesting stories about his dad and mom, and the history of this residence. The main room is large and beautifully decorated. The food was awesome. What a great time and I would highly recommend this place for your celebration.

The Valley Country Club was the most amazing wedding venue for my daughter’s wedding May 11,2019. The mansion is gorgeous. The food was delicious. Mary and Susan were so helpful through the entire process but especially the wedding day. All of our guests raved about the venue. Would definitely recommend for a wedding. Comparable pricing with exceptional customer service. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue

I cannot rave about this place enough. First off, let me start before we even booked the place. Susan treated us like we were old friends (we aren’t!). She was so easy to talk to. Once we booked the place they were so easy to work with. Mary and Susan continues to be amazing. They were always quick to respond to any email I sent their way. They talked to my mom about any worries and concerns she had and followed through with everything they said they would do. My husband dropped off our decor a few days before the wedding for them to set up the day of. I loved their placement of everything. On the day of Susan and Mary were AMAZING. I’m pretty sure they got my nephews batteries so they could play with the walkie talkies I gave them as ring bearer gifts. How nice is that?! Guests not only raved about the venue but also how nice EVERYONE was who worked there. My husband joked that mary and Susan are people we could grab a drink with and he is so accurate with that statement. Our wedding would not have been so flawless if we had chosen somewhere else. Thank you for making my day so amazing Susan and Mary!!!

My son’s wedding was this past Saturday and we could not have had it at a better place. Everyone was so accommodating, the food was excellent, the venue is beautiful etc., etc. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you

My now husband and I could not be any happier with our decision to have our wedding and reception at The Mansion on 8/4/2018. We were lucky enough to work directly with Susan and Mary throughout the entire process. The various wedding packages are very affordable and include so much in the price. Mary, Susan, and their team run a well-oiled machine at the Mansion, and we can’t compliment them enough as to how great the venue is! We both received numerous compliments from family and friends on how great the wedding and reception was and how professional/courteous the entire staff was. First time there to attend an evening wedding. Beautiful venue with ornate furnishings, lit fireplaces, pretty candle and table arrangements; a large bar; the meal was good, and the wedding cake was delicious. Everything well organized.

Im so disappointed in this venues professionalism. My fiance and I sat down with Susan and were highly excited about all the things we saw and were told about this venue. As we are funding this wedding ourselves we wanted to make sure the little extra details we wanted could be met as well as were still within our budget. Susan encouraged us to put in a two week hold for the date while she checked on the other details we wanted. The whole point of the hold, in her words, was to make sure if someone came in and requested the date it was ours unless we breached that time without a contract. I was leary because I knew we wouldnt have the deposit money until the very last day of the hold, so I simply expressed our concern. I was assured it wasnt an issue that because of fully explained circumstances they would work with us. Fine. So about three days in we were sent a basic price quote not including our extra details. I guess I made the fatal flaw of not responding soon enough to correct the issue because four days later I was contacted because another couple wanted our date that we held on the basis that our issues werent issues. When I inquired about the things we wanted I received a return email less than 24 hrs, again not including a quote for the things we wanted. With the lovely detail that our hold wouldnt be honored. I understand that this is a business, but I have an issue with being pushed into a decision without all the facts. No one likes being told one thing and shown another. Even if these things work themselves out, my wedding is special to me and for the amount of money being put in to it, I expect complete and total HONESTY!

Before we found the Mansion, my wife and I never imagined we could afford such a beautiful, compromise-free wedding. The historic venue is stunning and elegant while projecting a warm and familial atmosphere. The food is fantastic - all the wedding staples you’d expect are there and done to perfection, but the Mansion’s unique dishes may be even better. And whatever your drink of choice may be, the bar is fully stocked to deliver. We couldn’t believe how much was included with their standard package (a rarity in the wedding business). They take care of so much that the rest of our planning felt like a breeze.But what puts the Mansion beyond compare is the service. Mary, Susan, and the rest of the team don’t just treat you like their most valued clients - they treat you like family. They helped with nearly every aspect of our day, even those totally unrelated to the venue’s services. They eased all of our concerns leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, they delivered flawlessly. Susan’s day-of coordination ensured everything ran like clockwork. The food was served quickly and came out perfectly. All of our personalized touches were there. And my wife and I were never left without a full glass of our favorite drinks. Our guests haven’t stopped raving.We did a fair bit of research before choosing the Mansion. Comparable venues cost more, are loaded with hidden fees, and can scarcely match the Mansion in food, atmosphere, and service. But more importantly, they don’t have the wonderful people that make the Mansion what it is. Pick the Mansion and put all your worries aside: Your wedding will be spectacular.-Jess & Brennan

This past Sunday October 21, 2018 we held my daughters wedding reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club in Towson and it was everything my husband & I wanted it to be for our daughter Rachel and new son-in-law Connor. It was absolutely beautiful, from the mansion itself with its amazing decor & atmosphere to the delicious food and the tremendous job Mary & Susan did working with us to make their very special day one that Rachel & Connor and all of us there celebrating with them will never forget. Our thanks to everyone there for making Rachel & Connors wedding reception truly wonderful! Cant thank them enough! HIGHLY recommend!

To say that the Mansion at Valley Country Club was anything short of an AMAZING VENUE would be selling it short. Neither one of us had any idea where to head with this occasion. Once we found it there was no need to search any further. Mary and Susan were FANTASTIC! They gave us help with the decisions we needed help with and let us ask questions when they came up. They were easy to deal with and so nice. They made the entire experience and our day very special and memorable. The food, ambiance and staff were incredible, helpful and unintrusive. The building, setting and the entire property are very unique and beautiful. Top to bottom The Mansion is the standard.

I was married in August 2015, and it was the absolute BEST day of my life. Part of this is because of the staff from the Valley Country Club. I worked closely with Cindy, James, and Debbie to plan my picture perfect wedding. On the night of my wedding, Ingrid and Ricky took such great care of my husband and I. The Valley Country Club is one of the most beautiful mansions/wedding venues I’ve ever seen with the most affordable prices. We got the filet and crab cake option, which was DELICIOUS. 5 stars for this venue. I also constantly was emailing and calling their team with different questions, and I received a follow-up always within 24 hours. That means A LOT when planning such a large event. You cannot go wrong picking them for the most important day of your life.

We looked at a dozen venues to hold our (170 person) ceremony and wedding. Valley Country Club was by far the most beautiful location we saw. Debbie Donnovan and her staff were amazing. The food was excellent, the plans were meticulously executed, and the staff was as helpful as could be. My guests were so impressed! It was by far the best night of my life and it wouldnt have been possibly without the folks at Valley. The great thing is that everything is included with the per person price (food, drink, basic linens, set-up, etc). So, it really takes the stress out of al the details that really arent that important in the long-run.The things that were a little disappointing (but note that they did not ruin my night): there was not (or we were not aware of) a handicap bathroom which left some guests struggling up the stairs. Also, some tiny planning details were lost in translation, so just stay on top of it.All in all, is was a wonderful venue and I can not thank them enough for making my dreams come true.
