Awesome ceremony honoring WWII Veteran John Mastracola with a Quilt of Valor

A pretty little park set in the center of town in Torrington with a stone fountain and benches to relax. Theres a small pavilion that hosts free musical acts during the warmer months. Parking is minimal, but you can park across the street in the plaza and walk across. The only down side to the park is some the people that visit it on a daily basis. Its become a hang out for the riffraff of Torrington.

Great summer concerts with social distancing in a great scenic city park...

Coe park has gone through a few changes over the many years,but still remains an active central park in downtown Torrington ..This past Tuesday evening, I visited to attend a live outdoor concert,part of the Summer concert series ..There was a decent crowd,the park was clean and there was a police patrol,the overall experience was good.Like a lot of things in our small town,Coe Park gets a bad rap from a few bad apples,or an unfortunate event over the years .Kudos to all who take such good care of this park,and put out the effort to make it a great impression on those traveling through our fair city .

Best place to go play pokemon and get shinies! The flowers are absolutely gorgeous too. People there are a little special but they keep to themselves.

I love this place from a nostalgia point of view but its just so filled with bums and crackheads that its hard to enjoy the park without someone asking to bum a cigarettes or a dollar

I remember back when I was younger we would go into Price Busters and buy an economy sized bottle of dish soap and drop it in the fountain. Would make piles of suds that were taller than us. Before you knew it, kids and adults were running through the suds. Good clean fun lol.

Beautiful park with nice gardens, also great events.

The park is beautifully kept, with tons of flowers and foliage. My only negative is a the large number of indigent individuals that are constantly causing problems there.

Its absolutely a beautiful little park. However, the people that hang out there are mostly less than savory characters. For a long time I REFUSED to walk through there by myself. Now I will, but not without my pocket knife. Also, be prepared if you go there (especially by yourself) to be asked for a cigarette, spare change, etc... Towards the end of the summer last year the town did a pretty good job of cleaning the park up and making a lot of those people leave - not so much this year though, or at least not yet. I still dont LIKE to walk through (or even near) that park by myself a lot of times.

I like this park for walking around with my kids. Theres usually alot that goes on here from the spring to fall time. Even during the winter its a beautiful place with alot of historical significance. How ever once it gets warm there tends to be alot of unsavory characters that tend to hang out there. Ive seen people drunk and passed out on the benches, people overdosing and various people engaging in what appears to be a drug deal. I see the police trying to keep it clear of this kind of stuff but only so much can be done. However aside from these occasional issues it a beautiful park. I dont usually spend to much time there during the warmer months for this reason.

TO JUST BEING CONTENT READING A BOOK WHILE STRETCHED OUT ON A BLANKET ON THE GREEN LUSH GRASS COE PARK IS TORRINGTONSS HAPPENING PARK!! You can also tell when SPRINGTIME IS AROUND THE CORNER WHEN THE BEAUTIFUL 2000 + (plus) FLOWER BULBS ARE POPPING THROUGH THE MULCH LINED WALKS LINEA MAZE!! Lets NOT FORGET THE FRAGRANCE FROM THEM FLOWERS AS WELL!! FALL TIME & WINTER TIME ARE JUST AS SPECIAL AS WELL... Come down to Coe Park and check it out!!

Very clean and well maintained. Lush full flower beds and green grass! Waterfall adds a unique and cool touch on hot days. Very cool theater for outdoor concerts.

Definitely more pleasing to look at than in the past, alot of landscaping work has been done. Was nice to see and hear live music over the summer and attend small festivals.

A great place to hang out with friends with a nice atmosphere, but the people can be kinda shady sometimes. Id only go during the day.

Beautifully maintained city with pretty gardens nearly year round. Nice place to sit and talk on benches or meander around looking at the pretty seasonal gardens..

Coe Park is beautiful. There is a magnificent fountain in the center, with benches nearby, that provides a lovely place to sit and read a book. Whoever is responsible for the flowers should win an award, they are incredible and make the park stand out. Its a nice little haven in the center of the city.

Attended the Watermelon festival. The park was very clean and beautifully landscaped.
