Located in Torrance. A very nice theater suitable for mid-level productions. Strong audio visual system, and a deep orchestral pit. Very large stage able to accommodate many performers on stage. The seating arrangement is good. . There are no bad seats in the House. Every seat has great sight lines. Be careful because the aisles are very steep. Large Lobby able to accommodate many. Family friends and guests. And a small area where concessions can be sold. Ample parking.

Small theater. Every seat is a good seat. Comfortable seats with enough legroom to cross your legs. Good parking. They are several buildings, so you need to make sure of which theater you are visiting.

We saw Peter Pan and loved the experience. The staff was courteous and professional, even with hundreds of kids running around. I loved that they had the dancers warming up on stage and then got some of the kids up to practice mime dancing.

Nice small venue for music and other cultural events. Just a couple of blocks away from the Del Amo Mall so dinner before a performance is very doable. Will look for other events to attend here.

This is my favorite place to watch plays. Best play I ever seen was the Christmas Carol. Ill never forget the actor who played Scrooge so so funny. I hope this play comes back I thought it was extremely funny and well-made. In the back of the location they have a beautiful garden that you can visit on the side the Armstrong Theatre is the police department in the big parking lot they have the big Torrance Library and on the other side of the lot they have the courthouse

I love this theater. Its small so even if youre in the back row youre still in a great seat. I saw the same production on 2 different nights and actually preferred sitting two rows from the back over sitting in the 3rd row from the front.

As great as the theater was, the stage could have been tweaked and improved. The video feed for our performance was cut and miss calculations on the screen made it difficult to focus on the performers. Other than that, a well made theater. PS HUGE parking!

Went there for my daughters mommy and daughter recital, learned after the performance one of the administrators/teachers did not want to let that specific class go up and bow despite them paying for the class and working hard as well(daughter is 2 turning 3) the teacher gave in only after complaints were made.

Ro
Review №42

Seen a few plays here so far, may not go back. The auditorium is grand, with comfortable seating, attracts a nice audience. The actors are sincere and salt and peppered with talent. Casting seems desperate as some of the actors DO NOT fit the roles they are portraying. But after all, the producers can only cast who shows up. When I saw Beauty And The Beast there recently, (Nov 2018) there were technical problems. Mostly with sound. When Mrs Potts was on stage about to sing Tale as Old as Time her microphone went dead before she uttered a note. So Beauty and the Beast danced to an instrumental with Mrs Potts (an amazing singer) barely audible. When the Beast turned into a prince at the end, He looked more like a friendly WalMart shopper in the cookie section.Lets put it this way, Belle was obviously not attracted to him (no chemistry). Props however go to all the wonderful child actors, and village extras the other scene stealers were Belle in full gown, Mrs Potts, Chip, Lumiere and the Feather Duster girl. These are the only ones that make this musical with sound issues tolerable. If you plan on going here, request a sound check.Testing Testing 123 Testing. How difficult is that? Cmon you folks that handle the sound please do not embarrass your actors!

I went to go see a Casey Abram performance. He is a really good musician. The place was cool over all but the only thing that sucks is that you cant take drinks inside the theatre. If you purchase a drink besides water you have to drink it in the lounge. They told me this after I had purchased two Adult beverages for myself and attempted to go to my seats in the theatre. I was a lil bummed out that I had to down my 2 drinks with out really enjoying them...lol... If they would have told me that there was no drinks allowed in the theatre area as I was purchasing them I would have never bought the drinks. I was so looking forward to a few drinks while hearing some good music...Smh
