Fun place!! Super friendly staff!!

This place is a throw back. The concessions were questionable but is easily forgot about as my kids enjoyed the place

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was good even with all the kids there. A nice variety of songs and entertainment. The only thing negative was the rental shoes were so so. But was still not a big deal. We had a great time.

I go there all the time and it’s definitely worth it 6 dollars for all you can skate and awesome parties. The food and staff are amazing and I’ve always enjoyed my time there! My only problem is that the stalls don’t have doors, they have curtains, and the bathroom floor is a bit slick. I’ve never had a bad problem and Sk8 Away is an amazing place overall.

Clean. Helpful staff. The eating area for birthday parties could be a little bigger. Gets very congested.

We found skates here that were sold out online. The staff are super nice and easy to work with.

I am glad that someone is keeping this activity alive, it is a fun way to spend time with someone. The bathrooms have curtains so that you can skate your way to relief and the DJ there does a good job of keeping the floor alive.

Great place for birthday partys

Me and my friends always go there on the weekends and it’s pretty cheap 25 bucks will get u and ur friends in and food

A family friendly skating rink with great staff. Consistently a great experience.

We were there for a private birthday party. I wish I would have gotten his name, but the man who was working was absolutely amazing. He was very helpful, and was interactive with our group. The only thing I have to complain about is how pricey drinks are, and we had to pay $5 to rent the little Walker for our 2 year old. But other than that, it was great.

It’s is so fun the service is kinda okay but it’s good for having a lot of people.

We had a school skate night here and they did a good job of keeping things fresh and fun for the kids. Good prices on entry and concessions.

I loved it its so much fun and i like at i could hang out with friends it is a little pricey but it is worth it

I personally think it was rediculous that I got asked to remove my hat while on the skate floor. What does my hat have to do with me skating in a circle? Other than that it was a nice experience with the family

Pretty nice. Outdated a bit. Staff makes for an interactive and interesting skate time. Usually change directions and play a game like limbo in a two hour period.

Good skating rink with a good floor. There is plenty of seating and birthday parties there are fun. The concessions stand is reasonably priced too.

Granddaughter had fun. They have those little walker like to help learners skate without falling as much.

Everything smelled like cigarette smoke, and the bathrooms were filthy. We were there right after they opened for a kids birthday party. The employees were smoking in the office while working, and they dont let you walk with shoes on the rink to help kids learning to skate.

Nice skating rink but too many teenagers cussing, screaming and not there to skate. Skating rink has a police officer there and there are lots of disruptive people and fights on a regular basis.

Nice skating rink. Very difficult to hear when they used the announcement system and it was FREEZING. But still very cool....get it?

I took my kids to many, many parties here over the years. Still as cool as it ever was.

The most fun Ive had reliving my youth in years. The staff were MUCH more than accommodating me with my two kids. Genuinely kind and helpful people working there.

Not enough security or supervision. Several things have come up stolen over the times my children have gone. Last time a brand new pair of vans [shoes] was taken and my child had to go home barefoot.

My kids love coming here. We always try to stay away on Saturday nights. Parents usually drop their kids off and leave them unattended....it gets a little wild/crazy.

Love this place. We went to a school function. My wife. Went there as a kid. I only been a few times. But my children love have fun here. Wen a kid got hurt. The staff were amazing they ran fast. And were kind enuf to get a icepack. Wonderful staff. And great place for any occasion

Youll have just as much fun skating there now as you did when you where a kid.

Its not the greatest place. Lots of fights broke out, rude employment, the only good person there was the police officer.

Kids had a blast. It was clean for a skating rink and not that cold at all. As an adult, I had fun watching my children have fun. Fair rates and they didnt mind me walking in and out, which Ive heard some places wont. We will be back again.

Premier skating experience in Topeka. The staff is amazing and the owner is completely committed to ensuring a safe environment for all ages! The skate surface is well maintained and the facilities are clean and tidy which is a monumental task when considering how many children with candy are involved. Great and affordable way to exercise, have fun and make new friends.

I book a party there for my kids birthday. They had booked several parties at the same time. I had reserved an area from 3pm to 5pm. They were understaffed. They asked when i was ready to serve pizza for kids i told them 4:10pm. They were 45mins late then they rushed me to do the other activities thay were required in the birthday package deal because my reservation was up at 5pm. I had to ask for things that were included in package that wasnt given. It was unorganized and the price i paid was not worth the service i was given.

I go there every Friday night and the staff is extremely kind. Plus, theres a police gurad there to make sure everyone is safe.

Its a very fun place to an extent. im a trans boy, and i have a hard time getting out on the guys skate. the food is decent for a skating place in topeka, but the only problem is the staff that refuse to let the trans people out on the correct skating time. as a trans 14 year old, that was frustrating. also, it takes a while to get them used to you, even if you pass as the correct gender.

Ive been a skater for 43 years from Cali to Kansas sk8away is one of the cleanest well run rinks Ive experienced Miss Tina is the best!!!! My daughter skates there every Friday night I myself try to get in a Saturday whenever I get a chance!!

This place is a time warp! They keep it clean and in great shape. Good for the family or an outing with adventurous friends.

Used to go here alot about ten years ago I loved it back then, but the environment has changed so much and apparently they have gotten really lax about checking to make sure you are leaving with your kids. They didnt check me when I came in or when I went out with my 4yr old. There were no specials on the skate floor other than couples. Idk what happened its just not the same.

Me and my boyfriend just went for a date here and we ended up having to leave early because 4 Police cars showed up and an ambulance and a firetruck. The rowdy pre-teens got everyone kicked out and I did NOT feel safe. I do not recommend taking your kids or family here!!!!

Great Topeka skating!

Their homeschool skate rates are family friendly and not too crowded. Push device rentals are a little pricey at $3 each.

I work there and I can assure you its very clean and a family friendly place where I spend most of my time since I am 15 it is a very nice place to be the owner and manager are very sweet and kind they are like my family its a lot of fun me and my friends go there all the time

My family had a blast here. We hadnt been skating in years and after our visit we decided to make it a more regular thing. Most of the employees were very nice, courteous, and helpful. Especially the older gentleman that was the instructor I guess its called. He taught us how to skate backwards and paid attention to everyone on the floor. My nephew, unfortunately, accidentally came from behind and knocked him down. The instructor was more concerned about falling on top of and hurting the child than he was about hurting himself. Thankfully everyone was fine. The only things that could make me give 5 stars would be 1) More/better arcade games 2) better laces on the skates (some were frayed to the point of not being able to thread them) and 3) All day skate pass (if there is such a thing I was not aware)
