I ordered a pistol from them, even followed through to make sure they had my FFL info. 3 weeks later they havent shipped the pistol yet; I called and they claimed their vendor doesnt have any in stock and no idea when they will. So they cancelled the order, but will not refund the money I paid. They never answer emails, and every phone call is an empty promise. I agree, they are crooks. I am now starting legal matters to get back what they taken from me.

Process for ordering the firearm was not smooth but for $317 for a used glock 23 gen 3 with box, and 3 mags, not bad. Shipping was a little slow. If your in a rush this is not the place for you. If you want to save a few bucks not a bad deal.

Would never do business with them again. Absolutely terrible service. Never answers phone calls, barely answers emails, your money gets taken out immediately.. you have to have your ffl send them their license and order number.. they won’t tell you that when you purchase the gun. I was linked to the page from gun.deals directly to the gun page so yea. Gun came with the wrong mag, doesn’t want to seat with rounds in the mag. Mag is all cut up on top. Gun is not bad condition but haven’t shot yet. Sent the gun in a shirt... I’d never order from them again.. had to threaten them with flagging the purchase because it was taking them so long. Spend the extra 30$ somewhere else

I ordered a product they listed as in stock at a very low price. They took my money, never shipped the product and never responded to communication from me trying to get either the product or a refund. if I hadnt disputed the charge on my credit card they would have straight up stolen my money without every intending to sell the product they advertised.

Bought a police trade with night sights per the description. Got my pistol it did not have night sights. I called and they acknowledged ya most the ones they have gotten dont have them but they send them anyways. If I would have paid extra for a hand picked gun they probably would have them. They said they could ship me some night sights. I said great perfect. Then they said but they will probably be dead though. Not a whole lot I could do at this point. Wont buy from again.

Purchased a gun online that was listed as brand new. Gun arrived missing parts with significant wear. Reached out and they stated hk sent it that way as new. No resolution they confirmed visual damage and wear.

I cannot recommend Peak after what I experienced. This applies to their online store. Previously I had done business with them and had no complaints. However, after purchase things went south. I purchased a CZ pistol and the payment was processed almost immediately. I sent in my FFLs info and waited for shipment. After a week I email about the status of shipment and get no response. I wait again a couple days and email about the status, no response. This goes on for 3 weeks of unanswered emails and phone calls. At this point Im fed up and since they make no effort to respond to me, I flag the purchase through my credit card provider. I would have been happy to wait if the pistol was out of stock if they responded once to me.Peak gives great prices on firearms, but it just isnt worth the hassle. If I make a purchase I expect prompt shipment or correspondence as to why there is a delay.

We had a great experience. They had what I wanted/needed, when many didnt, stayed open later than closing to help me and a buddy out. Assisted us on putting on the additions. Great service, good good people, nice selection, costs/prices better than average. Great shop, great people.KB

Removing my positive review because it looks like this company is ripping people off. I got what I ordered but with the overwhelming amount of negative reviews Im removing my 5 star review and photos.

Purchased a glock 22 gen 4 with night sites and three mags. It took them 10 days to get me my gun. When it arrived at the FFL it was the wrong gun. They sent a gen 3 with night sites that are dead and only one mag.At that point i thought it was just a fluke so i contacted them. They sent me a return slip after 4 days. Returned the gun and then crickets..............I emailed and called. Received an email back stating they would be getting a new shipment in the next monday and they would ship it out first thing. Well its now saturday and no gun, no email, and no one will answer the phone at their shop....I had to call my credit card company to make a claim against them in order to get my money back...... What a mess..I do not recommend this business what so ever. I would give them 0 stars if i could...

Great gun shop! Staff were very nice and helpful. I drove an hour and a half to get there and it was worth the drive. There were some great prices on some good firearms. Was able to get some accessories and ammo and great prices as well. Looking forward to using my CZ I just purchased. Thanks for working with me.

Great experience overall. Got a really good deal on a new handgun and shipping was very quick. My only issue was that I never received a tracking number and only found out it had shipped after it had arrived. Overall though a very good experience, I would order from them again.

Finally someone who has some good knowledge on the guns they are selling. Small shop, but they know what they have and have the best prices in town. Salesmen was super friendly even though I told him I wouldnt be buying anything right now until the Mrs. signs off.

I ordered a pistol last night expecting to be taken to the ffl selection at the end of the process. there was no ffl option. i emailed the company to correct this. no reply. i called. they told me i have to personally take my order info to my ffl dealer and have my ffl dealer contact them with their info to process the order. theyve already taken my 1700$ and want a 15% restocking fee for an order from last night that they werent even going to tell me wouldnt ship without me doing this. i will never purchase from this company again.

Aside from stellar deals, I had my online order, in hand, 48 hours after I placed it. Customer service was similarly responsive and helpful. While Peak doesnt generally give free shipping, product pricing is excellent and not padded with built-in shipping costs. Next time youre in the market for some freedom, give Peak a try.

Ive purchased a few pieces from the guys at Peak and have always had a great experience. I like that they specialize in harder to find pieces and can get pretty much anything that you want. Didnt receive contact or have an order shipped for almost a week. Sent an email to them and immediately got a response to have the issue cleared up to have my firearm shipped. If you have an issue with them EMAIL THEM! They will work hard and fast to make it right.

Peak firearms is a rip off dont buy from them . I was bidding on a Glock 23 gen 3 listed as NEW paid for the auction as soon as I won $419 sent ffl same day. Called to make sure they received my ffl and ship my NEW gun ASAP because i paid for shipping. The guy answering phone at Peak firearms said his owner was putting used trade in Police guns on Gunbroker as NEW and hes told him numerous times shop about it worker offered a refund all most 2 weeks later no refund. Called my card company and disputed to get my money back. Michael Harrison would not return 20 emails and 17 phone calls but he had no trouble taking my money. Read his Gunbroker reviews he does this a lot NO RESPONSE is what all his bad reviews say or flat ripped off. They had enough balls to Ask me to change my F rating Lol. This guy is a poor excuse as a businessman and customer service is awful. He blames Gunbroker for everything and they say there getting out thats because they rip everyone off. It took 2 minutes too pay them and 2 weeks to get a refund thanks too my credit card company and all my paper/call trails on top of pics showing his gun add saying sold to me as NEW . I left you 1 star only because it doesnt offer 0 stars. Your Fs are racking up with my F+++++ on Gunbroker. Your flat out crooked .Your a gun shop i paid u $419 for a listed (NEW) Glock 23 gen 3 night sights and 3 mags. Your dealer cost for this Glock isnt much more then I paid and I gave u a chance too send a new Glock as you listed. Bought a gun from these guys at a gun show it was a pretty good price. The salesmen was helpful and freindly. I had to have them ship it to my gun store because I was out of state. After more then a week it never showed up. Had to track down where it was. I found out it was still sitting in their store. They forgot to ship it to my gun store. Honestly Im a little disappointed with the service.

I’m in Minnesota and ordered 2 new S&W 2.0 compacts from them. After 7 days of “processing” (my card was charged almost $900 on day 2) I called and emailed to get a status update. No reply for 3 days. I called again on day 10 and they said they were busy with a “gun show” and that I needed to send them my FFL’s information before they could ship. So, I sent them the info. Next day, they send me a poorly written email saying the guns I ordered we not in stock, but they had two night sight versions for $40 more. It took them a total of 11 days to tell me they didn’t have the guns I bought. I won’t do business with them again and I’m getting a refund.

Completely unethical. I ordered a firearm listed as In Stock on 11/17 and found out that it wasnt In Stock after calling with a question later that day. After suggesting the item would be in soon (and offering a refund), I decided to give it a few days due to the good price. On 11/22 after no update to my ETA inquiry, I requested to cancel the order and issue a refund. Im still waiting (12/11) on my refund to be processed, having received email and hearing on the phone that its being handled ASAP. My credit card company is involved since its the only way Ill ever get my money back. Shame on me - I should have checked the reviews first.

Excellent shop. For as small as it is, they stock as much as they can and if they don’t have it in stock they will search the end of the earth to get it for you. I checked every gun shop (big and small) in the salt lake valley and none of them had a particular pistol that I had been searching for, but I called Peak and not only did they have one but they also price matched the big box stores that didn’t even have it in stock! Julian was a huge help in the purchase and I definitely plan on going to see him and the folks at Peak Firearms in the future.

Just got off the phone with Peak and the whole time they were unprofessional and condescending. I was just asking a few simple questions and they treated me like I was stupid. I really wanted to buy a firearm from them because they had the best price in Utah, but I will take my business elsewhere to another business that deserves it. This place definitely needs to work on their customer service and treat others with respect.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews on here. BUT they had the lowest price (i looked everywhere) on the pistol I wanted and they shipped it out the day after purchase. So all in all I would definitely do business with Peak Firearms again.

I ordered an accessory item from Peak online due to its good price and free shipping promo. I have received the item promised and am happy with it.That said though, I am only giving three stars due to the fact I had to e-mail them about a week after placing my order and not getting any updates about my order status. It was only after e-mailing them that I was told my package had already been shipped a few days before. I live in an area with package theft problems (like many) so having tracking information is crucial to deal with this. Peak did provide a tracking number, but I probably would have not gotten any of this had I not contacted them. This lack of communication is why I cant give 5 stars . Take that for what its worth.

Ive worked with Peak Firearms over the last 2 years, and the owner Michael has been of great assistance. He has helped my spouse and I get the correct concealed carry firearm to help us protect ourselves and our home. Michael also got us not only proper gun handling and training through classes, but also proper firearm maintenance. I will continue to send friends and family to Peak Firearms not only for shooting needs, but also for the personalized service that hasnt been matched by anyone.

Ordered a item in stock on October 4th 2017. Guess what item wasnt in stock. Now the company wont respond to my emails or calls. Sent about a dozen emails and tried calling numerous times. Filed a fraud report with the credit card company. Please do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. Others seem like they are getting scamed by them this same way.

I bought a Hi Point 9mm carbine from these guys a couple months ago.They are great, they know their stuff and they usually have a good supply of firearms that no one else has. For example, they had almost every kel tec gun in stock before (no one else in the state had anything close). Good little shop, worth passing through.

Order a stripped lower about a week. I havent gotten a status update about my order. Ive emailed the business 2 times and made phone calls. All have gone unanswered! Very unprofessional, lack of costumer service. Will make one more phone call and based on that will determine my next step! Very upset

Placed order- almost 2 weeks without any confirmation. Credit card was charged almost immediately. Made numerous calls that went to voicemail finally got someone to answer from sales. He was the rudest salesman I have dealt with in my 62 years. The capper was salesman sent a 50$ order over 2 weeks late thru UPS requiring signature from customer..................... UPDATE I RECIEVED ORDER AND AFTER ALL THE B.S. THEY SENT THE WRONG ITEM. Lesson learned check reviews. Sent email to Michael concerning the wrong order. No response a week later. I placed order with wholesale hunter it came in 4 days later exactly as ordered

Extremely slow shipping. Completely unorganized. Lost a check, had to pay twice. Great prices though...if theyll honor them. Sometimes their website isnt updated. Theyve got some growing pains to work through. Good luck.

Horrible customer service, gives you the run around. Dont even bother ordering on there website. Theyre always trying to make the customer go out their way when I already sent them all the info I need for the FFL. Its crazy how theyre so quick to charge your debit card but dont want to ship the firearm out, every other company I ordered from billed me once the fire arm was in the process of shipping. If they cant resolve these issues Im gonna have to get a refund since it looks like im never gonna recieve my item. I bought an M&P Shield a few weeks ago,over the phone. I was not able to pick it up for a week. They held it for me without any concern. The Price was significantly lower than anyone else in Utah or Salt Lake County. I drove in from Provo just for the price. I will make the drive again for my next purchase.

I attempted to order a rifle off their webpage, that said it was in stock. I placed the order and the next day called for their fax number to send my FFL info. I spoke to someone who was very helpful but seemed completely unaware I had made the order.So I went had my FFL send the info and waited about 4 or 5 business days with no response.I then called and again no one seemed to know what was going on or that I had placed an order.I was told the owner would call me when he got in. This call was never made.I called the next day and spoke to someone higher up. They said that the rifle was not in stock and none would be coming in for several months. I told him to cancel my order and issue a refund. He told me he would do this or have the owner do it.After about a week the refund had still not been issued, an almost $2000 gun mind you. I ended up having to open a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back.And that is my story of dealing with Peak Firearms.... one star.

I purchased a FNX45 Tactical from their website after a sale was posted on Reddit gundeals. That was on 1/18 but it was after working hours so no big deal. No word from them over the weekend so I call on Monday and they say they were busy and didnt get to it yet. I wait a few more days and finally get an email asking for my FFLs liscense which is poorly written out in the directions on how to buy a gun online and respond that I will contact them in my side to have it forwarded. My FFL tells me its taken care of on their end and Peak tells me they received the FFL on 1/24. I call on 1/29 and they say it should ship out this week. I call again today 1/30 and ask the status and get told it is shipping today and the delay was due to my FFL. When I informed them they had received it almost a week prior they had no response except for it will ship today. 5 hours later after closing I have still not received a tracking number. The a amount of money saved on the gun is not worth the hassle of dealing with a substandard company. I was also contacted by another person on Reddit and they have had a worse experience than me and bought the gun the same day. So now I have been waiting 12 days with this shop having $900 of my money with 1 email from thei side, absolutely terrible. Listen to the people that have lived this nightmare and avoid this shop at all costs.

Placed a order with Peak firearms a little less than a week and a half ago. During the checkout process they didn’t have a separate column to fill out the FFL information. So I put my FFLs information along with my shipping address. About 4 days after the purchase date I still haven’t heard from so I shoot them a email asking for a eta on the shipment and I get a email back saying that they don’t have my FFLs info. I tell them that my FFL has a policy where they have to contact them first and that I already gave them my FFLs info in my order and asked if they needed it again. They said they did, so I email it to them. Now 10 days later I still haven’t received a tracking number from them which on their site they claim they’ll provide once the firearm is shipped. So I call them and ask for the status of my order. The guy who picks up asks for my name then once he looks it up in the computer he says they don’t have my FFLs information! I tell him I’ve been in contact with them over email and I’ve sent it twice already! He said that my FFL has to contact them and I explain my FFLs policy to him to which he says “Well maybe you should get another dealer who doesn’t have stupid rules like that. We forgot to get your FFLs info cause we’re busy and don’t have time to contact them”.... so if I never contacted them would they have just never shipped my firearm?!?! Terrible customer service, wished I paid the extra $40 and bought my firearm else where.Response to the owner: On the phone you stated that you never contacted my dealer cause you were busy and forgot. But now your claiming that they havent responded to you. Ive had mutiple firearms shipped to this dealer and this is the only time Ive ever had a problem.

Would recommend shopping online. Dealt with 3 employees in-person and never really got any outstanding customer support. Bought my Aero upper combo whoch they lost the box to which includes the special barrel wrench and set screws for the hand guard. Was told they would order my set screws right away and have yet to hear any word. I have called and asked to speak with the owner; just minutes after i had left and was told he was not in. I ended up ordering all new hardware directly from the manufacture costing me more money. I am looking at building some more of my own firearms but will not deal with them anymore and as for the so called vets that work there you figure they would want to work more with another vet or le.

Most other gun shops in Tooele and Salt Lake county sell firearms at a more reasonable price. Most guns at Peak Firearms sell for about MSRP. I wont do business with them simply because of their prices.UPDATE March 2019: As a firearms enthusiast I look for deals on quality firearms, ammunition, accessories, and gear locally first and then online. As I said before, the guys here have always been friendly to me. recently I purchased an Aero Precision M5 stripped upper and lower receivers from them for my AR10 308 style build, which they had the absolute best price in northern Utah. However, their prices on Magpul, lower parts kits, nick boron bolt carrier groups, barrels, muzzles brakes, hand guards, Vortex scopes are simply too high. Sense the owner wants specifics on deals and says he doesnt know what Im looking for, here we go. Other firearms that Ive asked about and ended up purchasing at other gun stores are, a stainless Ruger Blackhawk 357 $686, Smith&Wesson M&P 22 compact $350, Glock 17 Gen 4 with night sights and 3 magazines $550, Rock River Arm LAR 15 $787 have been much more affordable at nearly ever other gun store in the Tooele and Salt Lake valley. Federal 223 FMJ, Federal 9mm FMJ, Federal 22LR, Federal 308 FMJ are all more affordable elsewhere. I understand if Peak cant get it cheaper from their distributors, and in turn have to sell more expensive to make a profit, but if theyd do a little research on competitors in a 50 mile radius and adjust prices accordingly, Id buy more stuff there.

*****Avoid Peak Firearms in Tooele UT, they have no intregirety and lie to you. Mike took a deposit from me for a special order then sold the item once it came in, I gave him a second chance to get the firearm in, he ordered a second one when it came in he tried to jack up the price $500. Needless to say I didnt purchase it. Avoid this dealer as he is a crook. I wouldnt want anyone else to make the same mistake I did.

This guy was so nice and friendly i have already recommended him too a few friends that now plan on buying from him.
