I took some of my engagement photos here and loved the way they came out! The Museum welcomes photography, however, only after their closed! Which was honestly not a problem at all! I loved my photos and using the premises! Its so beautiful and rustic! Be sure to check out this beautiful hidden gem!
Hidden secret in Tomball. Worth the time to visit.
Ì only visited the exterior because the museums were not yet open, but I would like to return to see the things inside the buildings.
Went with my husband on Saturday and both enjoyed the tour. It feels like going back in time! Highly recommended! After your visit, you can walk around and will find lot of boutiques, shops, restaurant and antiques stores.
Closed but a nice walk
This was a great experience! Very helpful, informative volunteers and and a terrific way to catch a glimpse of our local past!
Love this area! So much history and such beautiful areas for pictures!
I came here with my granddaughter last year, on a School field trip and it was fun and educational. I loved it!If I could make a suggestion for the summer months, please roll the phone over to the Chamber of Commerce so people can find out the hours that the museum is open without having to drive all the way over there. Of course, the Chamber of Commerce needs to know the hours because they were no help when I called them. Ditto with the Railroad Depot Museum, they thought it was open Monday - Saturday 12 - 5.
We used the museum as a backdrop for photos. Beautiful place!
Lovely place to take photos.
This has been a pillar in our community for many years. The museum keeps their property up immaculate.
Such a darling little area, great history and great area for photography
Got there late. no ac in any building. go back in October.
Worth the effort if you are passing by.
Very cool. Several historic buildings to see.
Great place to take prom and homecoming pictures. I even got married in the little church there!
Really unexpected and fun
We tried to call ahead but could not reach anyone. SO we came on Thursday morning at approximately 9:30, a half hour before they opened. We intended to pay for a couple tours and have a quick ceremony with my fiancee(now wife) under the gazebo, out of the rain. Take a couple photos and head off to a bed and breakfast. The lady working met us at our vehicle, asked if she could help us, we explained the scenario, and she informed us that it would be $400 to do that. We said oh, ok, well we will wait for the preacher to meet us and we would go find another location. As the preacher arrived at 10:00 am, when they officially opened, the Tomball police showed up. We couldnt believe that she had called the cops on us for waiting on the preacher. We drove to the city park 4 blocks away, said our vows and were married in less than 15 minutes. Unbelievavle how some people can be!!!!!
It was soo great
Wonderful collection of things amd buildings..staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. A must see for tomball residents.
This is place is super neat, ingress spot, but HOT. If you like trains and oil this place is awesome.

Very near f
Loved it, great guide, AC, looks like a historical site!
Disappointed. Took cub scouts here and they were not able to tour the main house. Guide took them to see outside first and said we ran out of time. Guide talked to adults and not the boys.
Awesome! Great place and story!
