Great venue! Whoever decided to remodel this place made a positive decision for downtown Toledo. I will definitely be back.

Saw Brahms v. Radiohead with Steve Hackman, Andrew Lipke, Kéren Tayar, and Bill Prokopow and of course the Toledo Symphony. It was phenomenal! The venue was comfoortbale with great acoustics and very helpful and friendly atendants.

Went to see A Christmas Carol with my sister and my Grandma. It was wonderful! The aisles for the seats were a little tight but the seats were comfortable and all of the seats have a good view of the stage. The theater had a good temperature, not too hot or too cold. Prices are decent. I highly recommend coming here.

So glad they saved this theater.it is a beautiful venue to see a show. A very intimate and cozy feel. Would recommend a visit!

The theater was beautiful and the show was amazing. However, the theater sells candy and other refreshments and allows patrons eat during the performances. We had a terrible experience with people behind us rustling wrappers loudly. It really distracted from the performance. Fortunately the ushers were helpful and found us alternative seating. I feel going to the theater is a special experience different from the movies. The Valentine would be much improved If it considers eliminating the sale of food items with noisy packaging. There was a time when people could go a few hours with out inhaling food especially at the theater.

Great place to catch a dance, show, play, or any great entertainment. Love the remodel, and how it kept the feel of the classic theater.

My wife and I saw a special showing of The Shining here. Its a beautiful theatre and very well taken care of. I am looking forward to returning for another show.

Toledo, Ohio is a gem, with warm, friendly people, and an amazing diversity of things to see and experience. At the top of the list is the fabulous Valentine Theater. Always a treat to take in a show at this gorgeous venue.

Historical and beautiful venue in which to enjoy any form of entertainment, especially live performances. No seat leaves you feeling in a remote back 40. I spent a wonderful evening enjoying Harlem Renaissance Jazz.

I love love love the Toledo Opera! Being held at the Valentine puts it over the top! Beautiful theater!

Its a great old theater, but the seats could use updating. I get that packing in the people is profitable, but I spent the whole evening literally squashed between my neighbors. Glad I had long sleeves, or there would have been a disturbing amount of skin on skin contact with strangers.

Great ambiance. Friendly service, good prices. Always have a great time when I go there.

Big city charm. Love this theater. One of Toledos hidden treasures. Lavishly decorated in rich red velvet. Reminds me of the off Broadway theaters in NewYork. Clean comfortable and well maintained.

I love the Valentine! The venue is beautiful and the seating is arranged so there isnt a bad seat in the house. The only downside is they dont have a designated free parking lot since its downtown. Sometimes for shows and events the lot does offer free parking, however.

The Valentine Theater is beautifully renovated. We saw the play Love Letters. Convenient parking available on the Superior St. side. Georgies restaurant is right next door. Great place to have dinner and drinks before the show. Want to Valentine when they have another showing of Silver Screen which are older movies.

I love the Valentine! Its a beautiful venue and unlike some other local theaters they never upgraded by adding more seats so you dont feel like you are becoming personally acquainted with the stranger sitting next to you.Im always excited when I find a show I want to see is playing here.

Nostalgic and beautiful theatre. Staff, comprised of many volunteers with a love of theater, always makes my family feel so welcomed. Part of the Broadway show tours at reasonable rates. Such a great Toledo experience!

My husband and I went to see Its A Wonderful Life, which was part of their Silver Screen series. This is a gorgeous theater! The seats were comfortable and not too cramped. I could have done without the 20 minute intermission in the middle of the movie, but otherwise we had a first rate experience. We are planning to go back soon!

Ive been there three times so far and each time Ive enjoyed myself. The staff are friendly and helpful. The seats are comfy with adequate room. The theater itself is clean with a fancifulness about it. The crowd has been fun to be around and usually talk to you. Parking is $10 but it is downtown. I will continue to go and expect to enjoy myself each time.

Always a beautiful place to visit. Grand children were in a dance recital and no seat is a bad seat. I like the side balcony seats.

My first time visiting the Valentine. Beautiful theater. We saw Rock of Ages and even though Im not a fan of musicals, I really did enjoy the show. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The last 2 years we have enjoyed the Broadway Series with our friends. So far, every show has been very entertaining. The arts in Toledo are fabulous!

Loved seeing Its s Wonderful Life movie there in December! Recommend the classic movies. Have seen several musicals there as well and always enjoyable. Beautiful theater!

The theatre is a beautiful facility. The sound and lighting were excellent. Parking is very convenient and easy to find. I will be going to other performances there.

One of the great features of Toledo. Wonderfully restored. This theater is not only great for shows and productions they also are a great venue for school productions and ceremonies. Silver screen productions are great fun too.

The theatre was a true marvel to see. I had attended an event put on by the University of Toledos Rocket Marching Band. The seating was comfortable. The restrooms were clean. The ushers were very friendly and informative. I had a great time in a wonderful place.

I went there on a field trip, and with my mother, the performers were amazing

One of the coolest places in Toledo.

This theater has everything from old time movies to the Opera. The Toledo Jazz Orchestra plays here. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored. The Valentine is situated next door to Giorgios Restaurant in downtown Toledo. If you havent done so, I highly recommend it.

I loved performing in the Valentine Theatre, the staff always keepet the place clean and no one interrupted our Rehersals.

A lovingly restored and maintained gem from Toledos arts and entertainment history. Its gone from a movie palace to a little bit more longhair and bluenose, but Ive seen Tosca on stage and a WWII historical documentary on the screen there, so ...

Went and saw the musical Rock of Ages, the theater is lovely and clean. Really enjoyed my experience.

This place is great for seeing a show. Been here three times now for niece and nephews TSA events. Ill be back again soon!

It was a great night out at the Opera! The show and talent were wonderful. The building inside is gorgeous. The attendants at the theater were excellent. The parking attendants for the lot across the street...not so much.

Shows are great, seats are affordable, good layout.

We went to the Valentine to see Spamalot. The play was fantastic and the theater very nice. The theater is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. There is parking lot across the street although we found parking on the street nearby for free. A true gem in downtown Toledo.

One of Toledos true treasures. Thankfully The Valentine Theatre was spared from Progress and was saved as a historic landmark. Love the old movies that they show. Architecture and furnishings are fantastic. You owe it to yourself to attend an event here.

I always enjoy any event I attend here. Weather it is a gala, a movie or a musical. The restored architecture and friendly staff just add to the enjoyment of the experience. As a matter of fact the only reason I have not given them all five stars is the parking situation.

Review for Studio A - This is where they stage dramas and other plays. They have some really interesting plays here. The setup is ok. Seating could be more comfortable, and some seats have obstructed views, but their full bar can help you relax.

We really enjoyed watching Bohemian Rhapsody and singing along.

Beautiful venue with very comfortable seating which I always worry about being a tall person. Plenty of parking very accessible. Saw the production I Dream it was awesome!

This was my first time here. I was a chaperone for my sons Kinder class. Not only were the adults laughing and having a great time so were the kids. It was clean and the staff were so polite and friendly. Im looking forward to going there again with my son.

Just loved seeing the nutcracker ballet and the Toledo Jazz Orchestra concert. The beauty of the theater brings an air to the night. Great shows. We have never been disappointed.
