This is the best wine and canvas studio in all of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Even during times of quarantine, I have been able to get art and craft and painting kits to go (even delivered to my home!) by the owner to keep myself sane. It is nice that they offer painting kits for kids and a huge variety of canvas, wood and glass craft kits. Its a really large variety of arts and crafts to do. I cant wait to get back into their Toledo art studio though, nothing beats the in person art instruction, the teachers are really nice and its always a blast to have girls night at uncork the artist!

I absolutely adore Uncork the Artist!! This place has truly changed my life for the best. Cathie is one of the most understanding people Ive ever met. The environment is so artsy and cute. Theres no other place Id rather paint! Fun, fun, FUN!!!!!

The owner is AWESOME! Was very impressed with her professionalism. We definitely enjoyed our time and will be coming back soon!

We had a blast here for my nieces birthday. Our instructor was extremely nice and helpful with our whole group. We had 2 yrs old to 11years old mostly all 5,6,7 year olds. Everyone had fun creating their own work of art. I would recommend this to anyone who loves creating art. This place is awesome hands down!!!

Customer Service severly lacking. Much of the stuff I learned I could have easily found tutorials for free online. Dont waster your time or money.

The sign for the building is not at the actual location its about 3 blocks down. We werent warned of this ahead of time when booking, that wouldve been helpful. They said they tried to get the old sign down years ago. Doesnt seem it should be so hard. Otherwise the experience was okay. A little music wouldve set the tone. Also, we werent aware it was BYOB, so we didnt have any. Weve been to few other events and thought it would be on the menu to order. So if you go to Uncork the Artist take your own booze.

Very unprofessional, cathie makes promises she cannot keep and i would advise you to stay away from this place. i don’t understand how a business person can be so unprofessional it’s disgusting

My wife and I went for a couples paint experience. It was amazing. Neither of us have ever painted before, but that did not matter. Teacher of the class made it easy to follow and offered assistance along the way.If you want to have a great couples night, or are interested in trying to paint for the first time, check this place out.

The painting expierence was fun. However the customer service and communication was severely lacking. The class we reserved was posted for one location and confirmed by them by e-mail, yet we were rerouted 25 minutes across town without any apology or acknowledgement of the error. I also had incredible difficulty receiving ANY response to emails or phone calls weeks prior to the class.

Went to the monroe location. It was veey chilly when we arrived but warmed up as the night went on. Had a lot of fun. The instructor was helpful.

We held an event here and the staff was amazing; supportive, helpful, and very accommodating! The space itself is beautifully decorated with patron artwork. One wall is covered in an equisite mural depicting our local community. The programs offered at Uncork the Artist are for any age and any level of ability. No need to be a Davinci here! Highly recommended!

Fun experience, but the music played was a bit much.

Went with a small group and had just enough instruction that I was able to interact with them and still be able to follow along. Definitely would go back!

Did not have good experiences with this business, but nevertheless i decided to give them another chance and booked a class for my 7 year old who was so excited. she was going to paint a haunted house. Well i got a text at 9.10 am to tell me the class would not be happening due to low enrollment.The class started at 11Am.so by the time i found this out i was already at work and her aunt who had driven an hour to take her. I called uncork the artist and they said they had emailed me,which i had no evidence of but anyway you should get a hold of a person if your going to cancel a class that someone has already paid for. Very unprofessional.There are way to many painting places in the Toledo and surrounding area to waste your energy on uncork the artist.

Ive been going here for a few years. I love the paintings! The last 2 times I have been there it was the same artist teaching the class and she was more interested in playing on her phone than teaching the class or helping anyone. She stood at the back of the room on her phone more than anything else. Havent been back since.Also, very hard to use Groupons. The codes almost never work. Its frustrating to say the least. Got one for my Bday and it would not work, had to call them. Got another one...the code would not work. I just had it refunded. I am tired of playing the games with Groupon and Uncork.
