Its okay.The food is very good. I was impressed and pleased with every meal we ate. The staff were kind, and the dining hall was always clean.The main facility, the Kings Hotel, is fairly nice. The Griffith hotel is also nice. Their other facilities are quite dated. Expect something that was built in the 80s and has had minimal improvements since then. All things considered, its as clean as something three decades old can be.They lost their lake several years ago, and thats hurt them considerably. Much of what was former trails and slides and docks is now closed. Therefore, if you have a youth group, theres not a lot of entertaining things to do: one sizeable open field, an old basketball court, a playground and a few tennis courts. No pool or other water facilities.Their auditorium and large facilities are not so hot. The soundboard is glitchy, as were their projectors.Our group had major issues with keycards working and with water pressure.If youre looking for a place to house a bunch of adults and do a retreat or meeting, its okay. Otherwise, I wouldnt necessarily recommend it. Its clearly past its heyday. I hope it recovers, but Im not sure it can or will without major work.

The past two years, I have had the blessing of working with Bill, the Conference Center Director and had nothing but a great experience. The whole staff team have bent over backwords to help us put on a conference for 300-400 people. Will use again if we can!

Its a great campus that worked really well for my churchs high school church retreat. Glad that they found such a great place to unplug

I came here twice. This summer will be the third time that i come with my church... we manage to fit over 1000 church members here and we all had a blast. From canoeing to swimming, this place is great fun!! The food is great, the workers are very friendly, and the worship building is very big! We stay for a whole week at a time, and unless the weathers bad, theres literally nothing negative to say about this place!

We greatly enjoyed having our youth camp here. Go tell is such a great name a message for what we are called to do as believers.

The location was your typical retreat center with recreation like lakes, canoes, basketball and other camp facilities. The rooms range from simple hotels to camp lodging that house 6 to a room with bunk beds. The food is great and theres an ice cream area for $2 a scoop. The worship center is simple and enclosed. Good to accommodate smaller churches with 20 or so members

Staff were so sweet! Facilities were beautiful. Our particular shower was weak in my particular room in the cabin, but the other showers in the cabin were good. Very accommodating! I look forward to going back.

DO NOT STAY HERE especially if you are going to stay in the King hotel part of the center. There are BED BUGS and the staff refuses to agree that they are even though 5 of my girls had bites and had professionals look at the bites afterwards and confirm they were bed bugs. Another group, that I know, also went after us and stayed there and had to leave early TOO because of BED BUGS.

The Georgia Baptist Ministers Wives Retreat has been held at this conference center over 8 years. We have never had a bad experience. Bill Wheeler has a wonderful staff. The people are so easy to work with and we love seeing them each year. It really says a lot when they remember you each year. Everything is always clean and set up as requested. The cook is wonderful! Over the years the food continues to get better and better...no one will ever go hungry! They have remodeled the meeting space that we have used for many years and love the new changes! One of the greatest things I can say is the cost is minimal for what is included. This makes it affordable for our ladies to attend. I highly recommend for a retreat, conference or just time away!

The location is awesome! Love the atmosphere, the lake is very nice. The rooms need updating. Would be nice if they had hair dryers, at least to rent if not in the rooms.

This is our 2nd time here and we love it!! The accommodations are great and the food is phenomenal!! We love our yearly visits

There were lots of different styles of rooms ranging from a normal motel 6 to 6 people bunk beds. There is a lake with swimming area and good areas of worship. Typical sports and recreation areas are there but would not recommend driving home in the dark

Just finished my second year of attending here with fellow senior Christians around the state and one church from South Carolina, as well as a Methodist church. We has a great time- food was delicious, singers were excellent and fellow believers were wonderful! I will start in April being a volunteer and am really looking forward to the experience.

I would recommend this location for group retreats. The rooms are quite accommodating and the food is great. The staff is pleasant. It’s peaceful with great views.

It was located on Lake Louise. The campground was nice located next to the lake. It had a shower house along with water and electricity hookups. Near the campground was a field with a basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball net.

I had a great time there. The building and its roomos were very clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. Over all I had a great time!

Attended and performed with the Toccoa symphony orchestra. Great acoustics and building. High quality

We attended a party for my wifes work. The food was good and the staff was very helpful; I never had to ask for a refill.

I cannot give this place any stars because it was very very dirty. They need a deep cleaning especially the carpet. I was in a hotel style building the rooms were very dirty. I wish that I had thought to take pictures. (I only gave the one star because it will not let you hit post without giving any stars) The pictures that are posted are old and there are no personal pictures taken of the rooms. #veryoldpics

A true retreat...back to the simple life.

I recently attended a women’s retreat here. The retreat was incredible. The only eyesore for this unbelievable weekend were the accommodations. The lakeside view was picturesque, (most of) the beds were comfortable and the all inclusive price made the weekend affordable. However the center is dated and most every room smells musty/damp. Many of the women encountered large roaches in their rooms and some bathrooms didn’t seem very clean (bring shower shoes, Lysol cleaner and air freshener). The food wasn’t terrible (great varied selections) but many of us left with upset stomachs/bloating. The BCC may be a great option for youth or college age folks but sadly, I wouldn’t recommend hosting an overnight women’s event event there.

The past three year I have spent a week for GoTell Camp with my church and churches from all over the country. Great staff and food! Very friendly environment. Clean hotels and lake.

This center offer a lot of walking space, benches for meditations and bonding with confrères.

WOW!!!! What a wonderful experience. It was great seeing everyone again. The Conference Center was amazing, hospitality incredible and the presentation of everything IMPECCABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved every minute of it :)
