Aquarius Vacation Club Dorado del Mar

Eventhough the process to enter the facilities has change due to Covid19, the 2 and half hour wait to Check-In was ridiculus. Other then, the extremely long checkin process we had a great stay. I would definitely return as long as the check in process is improved.

Poor Hotel services! We were there during the start of COVID-19 lockdown. We only stay have the book nights . Trying to get a refund on the other nights. Getting the run-a-around. from this hotel. This hotel shoud be removal from hotels.com. Will not recommend to anyone.

Great place, the service was fantastic, everybody was very courteous and ready to help, everything in the rooms were very clean and helpful. We truly will be back, definitely.

It was beautiful but closed the pools and beach due to Corona and made us stay in our rooms and did not get our whole stay that we paid for.

On the beach, reasonable rates, beautiful pool area. Rooms are clean..wish the outside bar stayed open longer. Close at 5

Bartenders and Wait Staff were great, Room was great, peaceful, beach entrance, nice pool, etc

Beautiful pool and nice little beach area. Staff was friendly and checkin easy. I would consider the property to be very budget luxury, maybe still recovering from María. Rooms and reception are very basic. But, rooms have full sets of dishes, fridge and microwave which were very handy.

Nice clean resort. Restaurant and facilities (pool, beach) are shared with Ambassador Inn(attached building. Aquarius was definitely a lower class facility and management. After waiting on line for drinks at happy hour, we were told that they were only for Ambassador customers. For what it would have cost them for a cup of punch they could have shown some good customer service and told us we can only give you one. Also, I lost the beach key (I think it was stolen from by towel on the beach chair). They wanted $50 for this key on checkout. (No such fee is charged Ambassador customers). After considerable complaints to the manager, they reduced the price to $25. Also $14 is a lot to pay for customer parking. This is why I rather go to the small places and B and Bs, because they have much better personal service.

It was clean. Easy access to the beach and pool. Nice to be able to cook our own food with our allergies but had to buy some utensils but I brought home for next time. Theres a restaurant for people who can eat out. Close to stores. All the speed bumps is a big negative especially with a bad back! 18 speed bumps

My wife and i been there about 4 times,,,,,because we love the place,,,,,,hotel staff, how clean it is all the time.location is so great near everything ...... only one thing we do not like is that security should not allow anybody after 11 pm. To be in the pool, they make alot of noise and people go for vacation to relax... could not sleep that much

The property is shared with the Hilton so if staying at Aquarius you are considered a downgrade at the bar, pool, restaurants & beach.

No one at the lobby when I got there. I could not check in and did not get a response until the next day.

With a very friendly desk clerk the rest of the hotel needs a lot of maintenance, repairs, and a complete remodel. Scale of 1 to 10 the room cleanliness was a 5. The carpets had stains and were in horrible condition and very filthy. The sheets were clean as well as the pillow cases. Pillows did not smell good. Faucet fixtures or in very poor shape near breaking. Luckily we only stayed here one night. A couple of months ago I stayed next door at the Embassy Suites and had a much better experience rooms were a little more expensive but well worth it. Now that I have my own condo here I wont have to worry about it ever again:)

I didnt like anything about this place. The service was terrible. Room was dirty temperature control not workable just extremely badly experience. I will never return.

Was very clean but just pay extra to stay st the Embassy Suites. Not much to do in Dorado anyway

Room AC was off but main AC kep room very cold that we were freezing during the night. I had a toddler so we had to ask for extra blankets.

Great place and amazing staff.

I have one day left and that probably be the worst day of my vacation . The place is nice, the staff are courteous but the ridiculous thing of staying there after paying all this money is that everything is through the embassy suite which is next door. You cant even charge breakfast to your room, the gym, complimentary drinks and all, better yet we should have stayed at the embassy suite. Worst mistake staying at the Aquarius en dorado

The rooms need remodelation.

The room was spacious, walking distance to the beach, and priced correctly.

If u planning to go on a trip and confused and overwhelmed where to stay .... stay here u will not regret It I stood there for 3 days and I will go back again no question but one thing I have to say is when we got there I did have to wait cause the room was not ready after check in but other than that everything was great.

Booked for 1 night only because we wanted a nice view called hotel was promised a room with a view.... when we got there was told sorry no room with view available..... which was only reason I booked the room to begin with

Poor resort with little entertainment no restaurant no breakfast and at 9am they call you to let you know you have to leave at 11am, it’s disgusting, I don’t come back there never

The hotel is clean, the beach is nice, many restaurants close to the place. Only complain i have is that they should expand the pool side grill restaurant menu.

The room have all the amenities that you need for a short stay. Overall the hotel is very nice.

Dorado is much nicer thsn San Juan but hotel staff and security act the same...Unappreciative if your business and more concerned w guest harrassment over guest security. No bueno. No good. Do not stsy here. Gste ti beach wont open youll get licked iff tge property security

Governor placed an order for no beach or pool usage and hotel did not tell guests or give an option to cancel. Hotel acted as if this was the norm.

I like it because it has both pools and a beach where to do snorkeling.

Todo muy limpio y con toda medidas de prevención covid.Cobro de parqueo a precio elevado y no se hacen responsables de nada que le suceda a tu vehículo.

Eh visitado el establecimiento anteriormente y me agrada, puedo recomendar que el kiosko en area de la piscina cierre mas tarde durante el fin de semana y que tenga musica.. Mas entretenimiento..

Son muy lentos en el front desk. A parte de eso no tengo más ninguna queja.

Das Hotel ist schwer zu finden, die Ausschilderung ist dürftig bis nicht vorhanden. Man muß durch einen Kontrollpunkt in ein Wohngebiet fahren; merkwürdige Atmosphäre, wie in einem Ghetto. Für das Parken werden einem gleich noch mal 11 Dollar pro Nacht extra abkassiert. Merkwürdiger Geruch auf den Fluren. Für Privatstrand muß man wieder eine Extrakarte haben. Überall sind Ge-/Verbotsschilder. Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen, insbesondere der teppich. Den Wifi Code mußte man sehr umständlich an der Rückseite des Fernsehers ablesen. Wir waren glücklicherweise nur für eine Nacht dort. Solche Hotelanlagen sind nichts für mich. Poollandschaft war allerdings ganz nett angelegt, ich schwimme aber lieber im Meer. Am Privatstrand waren ziemlich viele Algen. Ich würde nicht nocheinmal dort übernachten.

Schlecht zu finden. Hotel heißt eigentlich Aquarius. Klimaanlagen vom Casino nebenan sehr laut. Anlage durch Nachbarhotel- Embassy Sweets- aber empfehlenswert

Das Bad, Dusche und WC waren eine Zuutung.
