My kids LOVE this place. It is awesome for summer time!
We enjoyed it. The prices are a little bit steep. They should actually give you a better price if you live within so many miles of the park. The food is reasonable, and the ice cream is good. Their are water slides, and activities for everything, water activities.
Great place to beat the heat and I am impressed with all the attentive life guards on duty! They are always on their A-game. When I go by myself, I try to find a more secluded place to chill... the spots closest to the lazy river by the kids sand pit are the best.
I love this place. Never had a problem with any employees. They are all courteous and the lifeguards are very vigilant. Place is always clean and the food is good. Plenty to do for all age groups.
Amazing water park that has something for every age to enjoy. Babies and toddlers can enjoy their own splash bad park, there’s a lazy river, large slide with tubs and a diving area. The food is reasonable and convenient. Only con is the cleanliness of the restrooms but overall the park is great!
Great for young toddlers. Really enjoy the lazy river and small kids pool. I just wish they would let parents slide down with the children because it can be scary for the little ones to do it on their own and need the comfort of a parent with them. I went down once with my daughter and she wouldn’t go down alone after but we found other things to do. Only other suggestion more stalls for changing
The day I went, there was an incident at the slides. The lifeguards hurried to the injured person and they were very professional in attending to the persons needs. Another time, there was someone struggling in the deep area of the pool and one of the lifeguards didnt even hesitate to blow the whistle, jump in, and lend a hand.Im not saying this to scare anyone about this place but rather that the lifeguards are excellent and attentive. Its one reason why I will keep going back.
Im shocked at some of the reviews. Please remember this is a public pool with a large main pool, 3 water slides, splash pad, sand box, lazy river, diving boards, concession stand and swim lessons. Its run by the park district so just like park district programs there is standard public pricing as well as special discounts for residents after 5pm ($5 per person). People may feel its expensive but it offers a lot more than other public pools. They do have a swimwear policy that they try to enforce (and should given the recent CDC public pool warnings) and no they do not allow food in because I cant imagine the mess that could cause (my theory). You can leave a cooler in your car though and get a stamp for re-entry. You can also bring your own lock for lockers too to save all costs. We have been coming for many years and highly enjoy but know it does get crowded on hot days so yes you will have to wait for a tube and slides, but Im glad theres a place for everyone to enjoy. Every hour there are special adult only swim times in the pool for 10mins or so. The lifeguards are truly some of the best there are!
Great pool, my kids love it. Down fall is the half price after 4. Brings in a lot of garbage people that dont seem to watch their children. If not a resident they should have to pay full price regardless. Lifeguards work hard to do their jobs, if they have to jump in numerous times to save the same child, then those people should get kicked out. It affects everyone. Lifeguards are not babysitters. They are there to save people. Please watch your children!
Super clean and always kept to high standards. all staff are very nice and accommodating insuring that you have a good time. food is a little pricy and so is to get in if you aren’t a resident and don’t have a pass. definitely worth it tho!!
I loved this place especially the late night swimming it was so fun plus the lifeguards are always on top of things:)
Fun for little kids. Initially last summer thought the water park was the best for kids younger than 8. This summer the place has become too relaxed with its rules and the place is getting dirtier. People are allowed in the pool with REGULAR street clothes (button downs, polos, slacks) and you see food from home all over the grounds! Very unhygienic they did change buckets to water slides for the little kids in the main pool Bathrooms always need cleaning, drains clogged with hair, smell of urine. For these reasons, Id say 3.5 stars.
Its perfect for small children. I have two girls ages 7 and 1. We usually go to Deep River Water Park but the drive is long and its a lot for me to handle alone. This water park is perfect for younger children. Its small yet exciting! And its way cheaper! Thanks for a good time!
Its nice here. The prices are a bit expensive for non-residents maybe they should think of a pier payment solution according to where you live. Its clean, and its busy today. There are quite a few shaded areas in the park.
Absolutely wonderful time with family on hot sunny day. The pool and rides were perfect. Bit unhappy with lazy river. It had no flow so end up sometimes in opposite direction. However after afternoon it appeared they fixed the issue and lazy river was good.
Prices keep increasing for non residents but still worth the $$. Clean waterpark, food is good and reasonably priced.
Looks good not too crowded compared to other places I have been.
Hi i have a quick question i recently moved to Orland hills but my district is Tinley Park do I pay more or the same as Tinley Parl ?
For the most part, this is a great public pool. Its always clean. The only drawback is the size. I just wish there was more offered.
Not too big but perfect for my 3 kids under 11. A bit pricey though for not being a full water park.
Good place for the family!!! Small but good amount of things to do but the food isnt the best I suggest going to other nearby places for food but other than that good place
Brought my kids here a week ago thinking we would stay all day for the price and thought there was more to offer, but they were bored after 1 hour. There was constant yelling at my kids for running. It also smelled. It was lightening everywhere and they said it was ok to swim. I felt horrible for the staff.
Deep River is definitely cheaper and has less gang bangers hanging around!
Disappointed! Im a Tinley Park resident and will go to Orland pool from now on. This was our first visit. Patrons ignore lifeguard commands everywhere and some lifeguards dont bother saying anything. A lot of rough housing in the lazy river nothing said. One woman was entering in the EXIT to the lazy river WITH a drink in her hand....lifeguard told her she couldnt enter thru the exit..she said oh and kept going. Two women were wearing completely inappropriate swimwear. One was a thong the other was wearing a bikini top that covered 3 inches, nipple only and see thru. Some were not even wearing suits! One woman was wearing a skirt in the pool! What is that? Not enough umbrellas on grounds. Im just so disappointed. Cant blame the lifeguards entirely for this. Needs mgmt walking around to enforce.
So fun worth the money for non residents staff is very welcoming and life guards are everywhere ready to help
Great fun. Nice place with something for every age.
Awesome water park, the cost for a family of 4...$64. NOT a 64 dollar water park!
Amazing place!!~Christian music is played! Will definitely go back!!
This water park has something for everyone. It is well thought out and designed. Having the entire pool zero entry and having a very gradual depth makes it truly family oriented.
Great day, not overly crowded, water was perfect temp, plenty of chairs, 5 stars!
We had a very bad experience with this place. They were very racist and rude. They went into my 4 year old god son back pack while it was on his back and were yanking him while going through it and after going through his back pack left it wide open and his towel hit the floor. My nieces were talk to in an extremely rude manner on the slides...It’s crazy people still treat patrons like this...I know nothing will be done about it and I already tried calling but at least others will know what to expect before coming to this establishment.
I will never bring my family back to this water park, the changing rooms were discusting, there was feces floating in the pool, there was dirty diaper remnants in the splash pad there was garbage all over in the park and the parking lot, people ignored the dress code and wore whatever they wanted. The park charged full price even tho we didn’t arrive until 5 pm. The life guards did clear the pool when they were informed of the feces floating, but within 20 minutes people were back in ion the pool area. I really felt bad for the employees the clientele was disrespectful to them and to there surroundings. This used to be such a nice water park a few years ago it’s very sad to see what it’s turned into.
Love it! Super clean, lots of lifeguards and perfect for kids.
Great place one thing I didnt like it not enough attention of guards on little kids slide.
Great place to take family on a hot summer day.
Very nice clean fun place. Perfect for young ones. Good food too. $$ out of 4
Very cool water park. Slides are our favorite!
Great place for everyone, they have a section for all ages. They have 3 slides and a lazy river. Also a small slide for the 12ft deep area. Food court and free parking. No coolers though
Awesome food! And pool is awesome! I love the sandbox the most! But there is one thing that makes this place 4 stars. The cleanliness is not the best especially in the bathroom. Where some shoes. Otherwise the place is awesome!
Amazing water park with options for every age!
Great water park! I have been a resident of Tinley Park since 2010. Water park has always been clean and well staffed with life guards. For those complaining about the cost for NON RESIDENT prices. Find another districts pool. You do not have to go to this specific water park. Orland Park, IL has a similar water park in size (probably larger) . Head over there instead of complaining, youll be paying just as much, if not more.
The park was very nice and the kids had a lot of fun. Pretty lucky that it wasnt crowded today. The only thing that keeps me from ranking the experience higher is that the bathrooms near the concession stand were absolutely nasty. It doesnt appear that they were cleaned on a routine schedule but instead neglected for the entire day.
The staff were racist. They asked to go in bags of African American patrons and not any Caucasians. You can only bring water in. There were so many bugs in the pool water. I spoke to a Caucasian boy and he ignored me. It began to storm while my family and I were there and they wouldnt give us a pass to return at a later time.
Place is great for the whole family. Very nice environment. The admission is too costly for non-residents. But otherwise great place.
Tons of fun for me and my 3 year old grandson! Well organized kids area, lots of lifeguards.
Great place to take the grandchildren.
Love it! Spent time with my grandkids!
Everything you need to have fun
Fantastic water park for all ages with shower rooms and restrooms. Lockers available. Chairs and umbrellas available. Snack shop open daily.
Came with the family, and there was so much confusion between the staff on what swimwear was acceptable and not acceptable. Signs were posted as to what was allowed, and we paid nearly $100 to get in, only to have to leave after less than an hour of swimming. As we were leaving, there was a family of Muslim women being kicked out as well for not having proper swim garments even though, like our family, they had the athletic material required to be in the water. For a small park with close to no attractions, I still wouldnt pay $14 per person to get in again. Would not recommend!!
Awesome place to go. You do not have to worry about alit of craziness. Very clean and relaxing environment. Good for ALL ages.
Nice neighbor hood water park
Very nice clean and quiet
Nice park for the family but I think its over priced $14 for non-residents is a bit much. And they dont have any group rates thats kinda crazy saying that we have a large family and we had to pay almost $200 to get in! I think they need to redo the rates only $8 for residents and after 5pm residents get in for $5 while non-residents still have to pay $14. Crazy at least if you are gonna charge that let us bring in our own food.
Very basic, & mediocre selection for a water park, not worth the cost of non residential fees, the Staff is rude and racist, my friend was uncomfortable being there by being “African American” by receiving extra attention in an bad way, crowds are rowdy at times, some of the caucasian teens gave trashy vibes, & uncleanliness behaviors, don’t recommend it at all.
Excellent Water Park. You have a main pool, a deep pool, slides, and a lazy river. You even have a splash pad and sand area. There is a few things that could change. Like have a kids waterslide somewhere. But other than that I recommend this water park.
Did not have a good time. The place is way overpriced, and not fun. There is not much to do for a four year old. They charge you extra to rent flotation devises and will not let you bring on in your own. Overcrowded and boring. The staff and director are rude. I was overcharged and was not reimbursed. Thanks for that!
Great for families with young children!
Its pretty busy. Not enough shade available. Not enough tubes; had to wait 10 minutes for a tube. They should have a residents only day. With that said, its inexpensive for entrance and food. They do a bag check when you come in. Water is the only thing allowed in. They do allow pool toys and they let kids jump in the pool. To use the slides or diving boards kids have to be 48 in. Its an ok pool.
Kids had fun.
We had a wonderful time. Looking forward to going back next weekend.
Crowded and getting filled with Muslims.
Be fair warned that during off season you need to call and see if they are open! Took my 3 year old at 5:30 and they said.....due to lack of attendance they are closed as 5:30.. I completely understand that but they really should put that on the website or on a message when u call. Very upset and disappointed little girl today
Awsome
Definitely a great place to take the family on a hot and sunny day.
$14 per person for my just turned 3 year old and 5 year old is kind of pricey for not really having anything for them to do but play in the swimming area. They couldnt go on any slides because of their size and they only have 3 big slides and 1 small slide. They have a splash pad but I can do that any day with the two boys for $2 at fort Frankfort. My 12 year old also was not impressed. Wishing we had made the drive out to deep river water park. Also, they do not let you bring any outside food or drink inside. Will not be back and kind of disappointed on spending over $50 for nothing too exciting.
Sometimes there are not enough chairs, meaning ALOT of people at once. You cant really enjoy it very much. The lifeguards are fantastic though!
Great facility!! Clean, spacious and safe. My family enjoyed it immensely.
Nice little place, fun for kids, didnt like the 45 minute wait to pay, they need to improve this problem, also 14$ entrance fee is a bit much for the size of park.
My 3 year old and I had a blast
I like the service and the family environment and all the water fun. I liked watching that big barrel full of water tilting and seeing all the water ....you know what I mean.
This place is awesome but sooo crowded. There are diving boards, water slides, a lazy river, and junk food concessions. $14 a person (my 3 year old was free) is decent.
Staff very nice and helpful. Concerning its 95 degrees outside
My family loves this waterpark. There a lazy river, a zero depth pool, cool slides, a sand area, a splash pad, a diving board and a consession stand.
Me and my son go once a week! We absolutly love all the different and fun things to do.
Love this pool..the lazy river is awesome
Nice places of kids over packed I would not CAll it huge normal sounds better
Cold water, great for VERY HOT days.
Great deal if you live in the neighborhood
Wonderful day all kinds of things to do for everyone
Very nice water park. Crowds can get insane
Very nice people but a Lil pricy they charge everyone the same rate even children considering its a neighborhood waterpark
Great place for hosting parties or just for a fun day.
Nice and fun relax
You cant use the pool during the hottest Month out of the year (August) because the kids who are lifeguards there go back to school. Hire people Im sure members would pay a higher membership fee. What a waste..
When I went it wasnt crowded but the bathrooms were nasty. :x Bring some shoes yall.
Great place to swim. Make sure you bring a small padlock to lock up your valuables in the locker room.
Great place always have a good time here
Lot of obnoxious little kids
Never been here, but charging $16 for non Tinley Parker residents, is ridiculous. I’d never visit here just to be in WATER
I DONT EVEN WANT TO GO THERE THE COMENTS ARE WORST DONT GO YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY
No well trained lifeguards
Very clean place to bring the kids
Has a lot of things to do at this pool, even a lazy river! Love it
