Had my sons birthday party here. Through some miscommunication, our reservation was accidentally made for only 5 guests when we had 8 kids. The staff (Crystal, Justin and Nikki) went ABOVE and beyond to get seats for everyone even though the place was packed. Crystal especially did everything possible to meet our panicked needs and so much more! All the staff were extremely considerate and helpful getting us setup and hosting the kids. Nikki was amazing at entertaining the kids and so calm and laid back.I heard that PlayLive just went under new management recently and whatever they changed is obviously working because this far surpassed the party we had there last year. FAR more organized, helpful and attentive to our needs. Was hesitant to come back but todays experience has definitely made us repeat customers. I hope Crystal gets the appreciation she deserves. Thanks again team!
Very well staffed great customer experience. We love the games they have too choose from Thank you.
This place is awesome! Great games, comfy chairs, and a great atmosphere. Bailey answered all of my questions and Ill definitely be back with my kiddo soon, and maybe on my own once in a while. Keep it up Bailey!
Let me start by saying I have never had a subscription here so my review is more information based and first thoughts. The attendant was super informative when I walked in and gave me all the information I could possibly have needed... Except Price. A true salesman which I can respect. This is basically what it is: You pay a subscription in the form of $$/Hour to play on pretty much any console. There is a list of rotating game, usually all the current buzz games are available as well as long running hits and a bunch others. You can also host parties there and they are trying to get a MTG part set up as well but since they are a little small at the moment thats always a struggle for game shops to do correctly.Honestly as an avid computer gamer I would never pay by the hour to play a game. I much rather be at home in my own space where I can talk freely and get food from the fridge when I want it but I cant fault them from making a pretty cool business model.
I come here for Smash Bros tournaments at 6pm on Tuesday. The lighting isnt my favorite but they are going for a certain aesthetic that works well for them. Great place to throw your kid to play Fortnite while you shop.
AmaZing place to play video games but prices is high
My daughter LOVED it and so did I! The lady that was working there was SO wonderfully kind and watched over the children like a mother would! I was very impressed!!!!!
Its the coolest place to go and hang out for a few or meet good people! The staff are super polite and very professional while still being like every day people. Nice job guys you earned the 5 stars!
Always enjoy going back to playlive nation if your a gamer highly recommend
Pros - Good selection of games, nice chairs and TVs.Cons - only Xbox. Customer service has changed; I work with disadvantaged kids at a nonprofit in Salem. For the last half year have brought them up here because they were willing to split the cost between two game players (I bought 8 hrs and they let me and the kiddo each play for 4). Apparently they arent willing to do this anymore and want each of us to purchase a membership which we cant shesa. This is sad because it feels like nickle and diming and a cash grab. The place is a nice idea but too expensive. Wont be back.
This place was hella lit I was just there with some friends
Employees were playing a card game. Tried to purchase something and waited at the counter for awhile and then walked around before I realized that they actually worked there.
