Ive thoroughly enjoyed each of the productions my wife and I have seen here. Theyve got a good variety of shows throughout the year too. Every element of the productions, from the top notch acting talent to set design, lighting, music arrangement, choreography...everything is dialed in.

One of the best places in Portland to attend plays that offer first rate entertainment. Actors and music are second to none. Intimate venue where there is not a bad seat in the house. Refreshments are available.

The Broadway Rose Theater is one of the Best Theaters in Portland Metro area for a play that is Unique and Wonderful. The whole staff and actors really appreciate what they do for the audience. IN TO THE WOODS is a remarkable 2 acts that go non stop and delighted Me Start to Finish. 5 STARS

It was a great experience! Strong voices, talented dancers, the lead Male was outstanding-not only a great dancer but his acrobatics were breathtaking. I didnt have a program so I dont know his name.Another very enjoyable Broadway Rose production.

Broadway Rose consistently produces the best live community theatre in town. It gives Portland Center Stage strong competition. While one organization is small yet powerful and the other large and upscale, my choice is always Broadway Rose. Both use equity players in wonderful productions.

Im always STUNNED at the level of talent here. Each performance seems to top the one before it. Footloose is a wonderful, funny, high energy show that shouldnt be missed. What a great theater!

It is always easy to park and all seats are very good. This last play was not as good as usual but we still enjoyed it.

Saw Into the Woods fabulous production. Theater is perfect, we sat in the last row and didnt have any issues being entertained. Staff was friendly and professional, facilities were maintained and accessible. Parking was ample. Will look at upcoming shows when were back in town.

We went to Into the Woods. The entire cast was amazing, great at singing and acting! I loved the creative use of characters to provide percussion support. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Up and Away was a fantasy comic book play that just was not my cup of tea. Pointless and nonsensical. The singing was great!

This is such a wonderful theatre. Its a small venue and every seat has a great view. Good parking. Nice restrooms. I dont know if the greeter and concession folks are employees or volunteers, but everyone is always so nice.

The performance was full of energy. Good singing, dancing and acting. This theater company does not disappoint.

This off Broadway Theater production is actually better then NY. True professionals all around. From the front desk will call to the band and of course the highly talented performers. You can tell they love what they do and do it very well is what they do. Future season ticket holders we will be.

I just finished watching the musical Nunsense. This was one delightful musical with a superb local cast. The theater itself is internment cozy theres not a bad seat in the house although it is difficult for seniors to get to the top rows. The seats are quite comfortable.

Just saw FOOTLOOSE. Smaller thanTigard HS Theatre, but a real nice community type theatre. Great acoustics.

Amazing quality performance. Such talent between set design, lighting/audio, and of course actors. Parking lot fills quick but there is a school next to it that has plenty of spots. Not a bad seat in the house.

Broadway Rose is wonderful place to see some great musical productions. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a small selection of snacks along with some beer and wine. We went to see Nunsense a few weeks ago and it was well worth the money.

We saw murder for two on this visit. Everything is memorable. The directors sense of humor, the facility and the accessibility. Well done. Most notably this show was absolutely incredible. The two actors, pianists and dancers knocked our socks off. It was incredible to witness the talent required for this show emerge. Thanks for the incredible experience.

Theater had 200-plus seats, family-style, giving a most appropriate atmosphere for the musical, Nunsense. Laughed a lot, enjoyed it immensely.

Broadway Rose Theater produces some of the best musical theater productions. If you havent attended I would recommend you put it on your to-do list. Mama Mia is coming next!!

Capacity crowd for the final play of Murder for Two. The facilities there are great. The particular play we saw wasnt really my favorite. The 2 actors were great just didnt care for it.

We have been going to shows from Broadway Rose for many years and the quality has always been very good. Over recent years the shows have been excellent with great actors and staging. It is always great value and we have never been disappointed.

Our family saw the preview of Oklahoma last evening and we believe it is one of the best productions of Oklahoma we have ever seen. Every aspect of the production was first rate- great work Sharon and crew. The cast was excellent with strong performances and seemed really to relate to the music that told their story. Great singing and dancing; easy to enjoy from Curleys opening Oh What a Beautiful Morning to the end. Thanks so much.

Murder for Two was such a fun performance to watch for all of us, ages 8 to 37. We will definitely be back.

Im reviewing this from the POV of a performer -- I recently had the opportunity to take part in a dance performance at this theatre. So while I cant say how things were for the audience, they were great for the dancers. We had a large, well-lit dressing room with clothing racks to hang our costumes and lots of mirrors with seats so everyone could do their makeup. Amazing!The stage, lighting, and sound were all very nice. No weird spots on the floor, and there is SIDE LIGHTING to give dance that all-important 3d lighting to really show the dimensions of our work. Our music was perfectly audible for us on the stage so we didnt miss our cues.Seating is stadium-style so I suspect for the audience, theres not a bad seat in the house.The only real downside is that it is way out in Tigard, which was a bit of a haul for those of us staying in Portland, we had to arrange carpools to get everyone there.

We have seen Beehive 2 times before but we enjoyed it so much, we were pleased to get to see it again. I have to say, we enjoyed everything all over again...but to a higher degree! We grew up in the 60s and, like everyone else, we enjoyed hearing all those songs sung again.But what a wonderful group of performers were awaiting us! Every singer was perfect choice for each song they sang! Each singer created the original artist perfectly for us!The little bits to connect the songs were done delightfully. I love to laugh so the humor was most enjoyable.But the second half! By artists I knew but really hadnt listened to. Again, each singer representing an artist was amazing! They put everything they had into each song! I dont see how they could even move, much less speak or sing, after their part.I had never seen Janis Joplin sing; I just knew I liked Me and Bobby McGee. But, Wow! I felt as if Janis was on stage Friday night, singing her heart out. And Tina! Theres another WOW!I also enjoyed The Women Who Rocked the 60s . It helped me catch up on the artists.Thanks for all the hard work.

This is just not some small town, “let’s put on a play” company. Broadway Rose is as professional as any theater company from the big city. We have been to many of their productions, and we can’t wait to go see all of their performances this summer!
