Great open space in Thousand Oaks. Right now, everything is as green as can be thanks to the recent rains. Wonderful colorful wild flowers in full bloom. Quiet and very serene.

Some good trails. VISTA loop is one of my favorites in the area and a 4 minutes drive.

Such a beautiful park with lots of trail options & some incredible views of TO. It’s really great for biking. If you’re a walker/runner, do be aware that there are lots of bikers. They should be using the bells provided by the parks service, so listen out & follow traffic rules.I love starting from the entrance off Moorpark, where there is a beautiful shady oak grove, that weaves it’s way into the hills for some spectacular views.

Great trail system for hiking, running, and biking.

Moderate hike with breathtaking scenery. It is not demanding in terms of time and effort. I removed one star because the track is too smooth and the only effort required is to overcome the slope.

Good trail, but I wish it was a loop. You have to hike through residential areas to get back to the parking lot, or double back the same way you came.

The hike starting at Los Padres road is an great family hike!

Well established, totally clean paths with good signage And enough traffic to be safe, without being too much.

The Los Robles Open Space is a great trail head. You can hike, bike and ride a horse in this open space. The trails are mostly without shade so you should bring plenty of water. They do not have fountains or water spigots. Hikers share the trails with mountain bikers so be vigilant. Most mountain bikers have bells on their bikes to warn you that they are coming and most of them are courteous.

Absolutely beautiful!

Wow! This place has some of the most beautiful and amazing views I have ever seen in a long time. The trails are steep and rugged; and the the paths are narrow and lengthy. BUT! If you have the courage and the desire to go through with it, then you will be able to see a sight unlike any other! You have to be very careful and you need to watch where you are going at all times. But man, the panoramic view is worth the effort in the long run. You may find a few deciduous trees along the way if you are lucky. In summary, the trail is long and lengthy, but the view of the city is worth it in the end.

Los Robles open space and trail is a short trail shooting off the fire road. I liked this trail.Its pretty rutted out, but is a fast ride. It has some sharp turns at the top, a pretty off camber section in the middle, and some random bridges to play on. So climbing up Los Robles was not hard for me. In fact, its a pretty easy climb but there are plenty of rocks and switchbacks to navigate making it interesting.****
