Great place to go to hang out with other car guys in a friendly safe environment

Well maintained city park, one of the biggest city park I have seen around metro area. The city should have more restrictions on the constructions and contractors because they made lot of mess and city employees clean them up...

This place is AWESOME. Theres no need for extensive reviews.Plenty of space for kids of all ages. Get out there and enjoy.

Love this park but wow theres a lot of goose poop around dock lake. 2 mile walk with a 6 month old to wear him out! Really nice big park with an awesome playground behind the rec center. Beautiful day.

Forth of July celebrations are on point. Fun, clean atmosphere for families.Beer garden for 21+ during festivities.

The city of Thornton always does such a great job with all their events. The winterfest is great to visit every year. Kids love it and have a great time. There is lots to do ice skating, christmas trees, ice sculptures, tons of food vendors, bonfires, places to warm up. Definitely worth checking out. They also have 4th of july fireworks and a Halloween event too.

Love the fireworks display every year. Lots of food trucks, but also long lines for food . Beer garden, and Porto potties

Beautiful xeric garden maintained by Thornton Water Conservation

Massive grassy area with a wonderful path around it that is paved, making it great for cycling, jogging, or dog walking. The grass is nice but could be maintained a little better. They do have clean restrooms with running water which is really great. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking to do physical activity. Only significant complaint is that there is no play area close enough for kids to play at while parents jog or walk.

Ohhhhh ahhhhhh my goodness its beautiful. You can see for miles. Dogs and owners, rec center. Football players. Trees. Bathroom. Who ever designed this. The parking. Arrange four night movies. Bikers, runners, you just have to take some time and must see this place its a 10 definitely

Very nice. Lots of activities. Huge open grassy areas. Amphitheater, carousel, a couple of lakes, several childrens play areas and over 5 miles of waking paths!

Kids had lots of fun sledding.

Park is highly recommended for everyone to experience once. Very clean beautiful trails mixed off trail with gravel. Love the brick sculpted art at the top of the round about. Where a fountain is located. IT IS A HIDDEN GEM of nature sculpted in brick.

This a wonderful place with plenty of space to run, play with a dog, or just hangout and exercise.Not much to say except a warning that drone flight is illegal in concordance with state law (along with Westminster law) prohibiting drone flight in public spaces without a permit.

Great winter festival..

I have been coming to this park for years. It is a great place to run as they have three different tracks to run on. They also have a playground for kids, basketball courts, tennis courts, and paddle board during the summer time. I would highly recommend this outdoor recreation area.

Love the location and convenience of these fields. There is always ample parking and the grounds are kept meticulous. Great option for team sports, individuals or families from walking, jogging or just walking the dog.

Great place to take the kiddos to play at the playground here. I have also been to the group area up by the tennis courts. Had a function with my company here. Nice place, well kept up. There is plenty of parking around as well.

Playground, skate park, walking trails, and much more outside. Fun pool and large fitness center inside. And thorntons fireworks are the best!

Lots of events happen here next to the Thornton Rec Center. Even with nothing going its a great location to hang out or walk a dog/Cat/Ferret

Large park with a variety of activities to choose from: skateboard ramps, jogging trails, lake with boat rentals, a carousel, playground, rec center (racquet ball, basketball, weights, heated swimming pool with water slides and a wave maker, pool table). Also, great annual holiday activities

Thornton fest was awesome. The path around the field is nice and has benches for resting. Its always kept clean and neat.

Very big park and a new playground with alot of equipment for kids to play on! Plus there is an amphitheater that hosts local bands as well as a huge field as well as a lake

Carpenter park has great playground equipment, a lake for paddle boats, a carousel, expansive fields for community events, a skate park, and fun hills for sledding down in the winter.

Great for a jog, or bring your dog. Thornton has most holiday events here.

Shuffle board courts could use a good power washing

This place is awesome, you can rent boats and the little ones love the carousel. Great place for a walk
