The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is an incredible event that brings talented artists from all around the world to our community. Its one of the largest events that The Woodlands holds on Town Green Park. We always enjoy strolling around the festival with our family and friends. Here is information from their website:You may have heard about us as the folks behind The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, but we’re so much more: we’re in your kids’ schools, we’re in the mall, we’re sprinkled across the Waterway. We’re even growing into the hearts of our community. The Woodlands Arts Council, Inc. (TWAC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to provide regional cultural and educational enrichment. We produce the award winning Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival every Spring!
Great scenic park with river feature, fountain and boats! Great spot to take family or a date.
Great place to walk or run.
Not just 5 stars but a MILLION to Christina and Leo Brito, who donated, carried, arranged, truck loads of plants and arrangements so the festival was beautiful. Next job, picking it all up!! Thanks you for your endless hours of effort for our community. You are appreciated!!
The 18 dollar ticket for an event that encourages you to spend even more money on food, drinks and yes, ART seems over the top. Of course seeing the prices for the art, they are definitely targeting the wealthy Woodlands folk, so the price is to keep others out.
I have attended this art fair 4 years in a row. Every artist is world class and the variety is outstanding. There is plenty to do before and after you visit too. Stay at the Marriott, thats where the art show entrance is anyway. Within EASY walking distance, like 1 block? there is a very nice movie theater, a steak house, even the hotel has a nice large bar with good food. We only live about a 45 minute drive away but next year were making a weekend of it and catching a steak and a movie and staying overnight. Whats the rush to get home!
Wonderful location. Great artistsPlenty of food options
A thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening experience. The only downside on opening day they werent prepared to let visitors in and were a bit confused about how to hand out wristbands.
We had a great time here. So many talented artists. I was really surprised how big it was. So much to see.
Fun weekend with some very creative artists. Variety of options for the buyer from jewelry to enormous yard art. Good place to people watch. Oh, and good food.
Tons of artists with many different styles. Music was fun! I didnt try any food, but all the trucks smelled really good
This popular festival brings 200+ of the best festival artists in the country to The Woodlands for a weekend in early April each year. WWAF art fills many area homes and the festival experience includes top regional performers and the best local restauranteurs, caterers and food trucks as well as craft beer, wine and soft drinks. Cannot he missed!!!
First time to volunteer or attend the woodlands art festival. It was great experience! Wish the weather cooperated. It was freezing!
Check out Searcy Metal when this show is in town. Its mixed media, incorporating metal and ceramics. For the quality and one of a kind art that it is, I feel it is the best in show for affordability.Lots of pieces to choose from.My favorite booth at the show!
