Had a great time at this place! The staff went out of the way to make our group feel right at home. The regulars were accommodating as well even when we had to take over the place. Highly recommend as just a cool place to chill, play games, and watch events on TV. Hope to visit again soon!

Its my neighborhood bar. Good price and aways good service. For what the bar is, the pizza is good too! Dont go with high expectations but youll leave with better than you thought.

Seems like a great neighborhood bar that welcomes newbies with open arms. I had lots of fun meeting the bartenders and awesome patrons.

Rixs let us have my Birthday Party there and we had a blast. Pizza was great the best pizza in town and the service was awesome.

I will not go back to this bar. Between the crowd and the owner, it is not a place that a woman not feel safe alone. If you are looking to hook up, then maybe but to have a drink alone, no.

The Cowboys style reno they made looks great. Everything was clean, pool tables were nice, dart boards were in good condition and the atmosphere was very enjoyable

This was one of the better night clubs in TX. The music was always on point which set the scene with great energy. The bar was always stocked with the best high end spirits and the employees staffing it were quick and professional. The decor was great and made for a classy high end feel. Overall this place never disappointed and it is unfortunate that they are closing!!!!

On occasion I stop at RiX to enjoy a good and competitive dart tournament. RiX never disappoints. There is always a great crowd, friendly competition, and most importantly; cold beer, great food, and terrific staff. Im a regular visitor when I pass through The Colony. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the atmosphere for yourself.

This bar (formally CJs) is only a few years old having been bought by the current owners, but has established itself as one of these places to hang out with darts billiards and live music on the weekends and good drink prices, though it hasnt slowed them down they are currently in the expansion process, GET READY FOR MORE FUN AND MORE SPACE! REMEMBER ask for Diana if you happen to go in. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!

Visit regularly for pool league. Always friendly staff, food is pretty good especially the fried catfish, bathrooms stay clean. Theres darts, pool, and cornhole. Its an indoor smoking bar so positive or negative depending on your preference. They have enough tv screen coverage to make any seat a good seat for football games if you want to catch one. Friendly regulars and no parking issues.

Great prices on food and beverages. Plenty of pool tables and dart boards. One of the few places that allow smoking in the bar.

As far as sports bars go, its actually a great place. Great place for billiards, darts and watching games. The smell of smoke hits you right when you walk in the door, even if there arent that many people there. It is also a quintessential neighborhood bar. The regulars are really friendly.

It was my first time here. I went to visit a couple of friends. The atmosphere was great. There bartender on duty was Logan, she was attentive and very sociable, not to mention easy on the eyes. I highly recommend you stop in if in the area.

Im not a smoker and you can smoke inside so I got smoked out fairly quickly Im sure Id be a fun place if you can handle the smoke but its not for me if you cant handle it just go to Mavericks about 5 minutes away

Went here on a Friday night. One cook in the kitchen. Food took about an hour, maybe longer. Was really good, but prepare to wait. Lots of dart boards and a few pool tables. Really good prices on drinks. Smirnoff drinks were 3.50 and they loaded it.

I had the opportunity to visit Rix around Thanksgiving while visiting family. Great, relaxed atmosphere with staff who can not only roll with the punches not also dish some back (tastefully of course!). The dart boards are laser lined and well maintained as we played several games on our visit. Theres also 2 pool tables with pay per game availability. I would definitely visit here again and recommend to friends!

Loved the place. The crowd is diverse and friendly. The place is HUGE! Four pool tables a ton of dart boards, large dance floor and plenty of seating. Food was great staff was awesome. Definitely coming back!

Lots of fun, if you like a local dive that is completely smokey. Darts, pool, drinking, 90s hiphop type of place. They smoke A LOT here but it is what it is.

Total overall experience is above par...except for the cooking during the day from wednesday to saturday...cooks have a non-chalant dont care attitude...takes too long for orders to be done...just unacceptable from so called professionals

Was a good spot to watch the Super Bowl. Been coming here about a year now. Laid back atnosohere, decent crowds on weekends.

Bad - If I could give it zero stars I would. I stood at the bar for no less than 10 minutes and was never acknowledged let alone asked if Id care for a beverage. Maybe there was a shift change happening, (3 bartenders & a barback behind the bar), I wont return, nor can I recommend this place to anyone else.

Darts were fine. Probably the highlight of it all. I mustve gone on a bad day cause they had nothing on the menu and what they did have wasnt cooked thoroughly.

Went to karaoke and the owner sang most of the night. Would have preferred to sing myself. Could have been a much better experience. Not impressed

Seems like it has potential but it looks like unless you are part of a biker crew, you are not really welcome. That was akward.

There is actually only Karaoke 2 nights a week for all those curious. Its Wednesdays and Friday Nights...... There was no Karaoke last week as it was the bars monthly Bike night last Friday...... Also I am not the owner. I am a professional entertainer who performs on the saturdays there is no live band.... I have special guest perform to a professional track show(no band)...... If you would like to sing to karaoke come out on Wednesday or Friday night

Went their last night 6/29/14 for the first time to relax, listen to music, watch people dance & have a great time. I sat alone at bar and also watched UFC, having a great time. Then got to watch the owner start ripping a new bartender. He rode her to tears over a period of an hour. The other bartender (Tammy) was trying to smooth things over with owner. Owner (Rick) had been in the kitchen up until late and then stayed behind bar. He was a total distraction from everyones fun & people started leaving. He was also focused on getting all the glasses clean which blocked the view of UFC. He continued to rip the new bartender at every chance to a point she just stood by the cash register & totaled receipts. RICK is a PRICK and a dumb manager for doing what he did in front of customers, very doubtful I will ever go back. What a jackass.
