An outstanding experience! We were long overdue for a team building event due to covid. This was the perfect option to be responsible with social distancing. The entire management team was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our day went perfect. So many smiles, such beautiful views! Thank you for the great memories, we will be back to make more!

Course is in good shape and has a good lay out for 9 holes. Its only a 9 hole course and the tee box/ start times are poorly managed. People allowed to split groups. At the turn is where it gets backed up because groups start splitting and new groups jump in with no course management. Left after 12 holes because it just git too backed up.

Great course for the money. Well maintained, Lake views throughout, and the greens were in very good shape. Perfect golf course for a beginner or an experienced golfer who wants to work on their short game.

Beautiful course even in the winter, right by the Lewisville lake. Challenging enough to make me come back. Play the same 9 holes twice may scare some people away but it’s worth trying at least. The only thing I can pick on is their electric carts’ brakes are very hard to put them in full stop.

Worst golf experience I’ve had in my entire life, never have I had a course Marshall drive across a par 3 OVER the ladies tee box to go hang out with his buddies while I’m on the tee box, not only is it the cardinal rule of golf, it’s dangerous. You never drive over a par 3 and ESPECIALLY over the tee box. When I told him he needs to pay attention his response is “I can drive wherever I want” and he follows me up the green yelling. Dude, tuck your shirt in and act like a professional, Jose. You may be there one day a week for free golf but you’re a representative of the course and there to enforce the rules, not break them and yell at paying clients. Course had more weeds/mud (day after a hard rain) than grass. Will not be back.

I like the course. It is a 9-hole, but it is setup like an 18-hole course. There are 2 sets of tees. The only problem is that there was little control over the players that were going through for the second round. It caused confusion with the players being there for their original tee times.

Course was in decent shape. Only thing was it was only 9 actual holes with two different tee boxes. We still enjoyed ourselves.

I love the course and it is beautiful along the lake. I wonder about the maintenance since the ball washers at each tee box smell like a sewer. They need to be cleaned or replaced. The older man in the clubhouse was very nice but the younger, manager looking guy needs an attitude change. He barely spoke to us and when we left the clubhouse he didnt even say thank you.

Its only 9 holes, the driving range is irons only, it wasnt well groomed, and there are hardly any yardage markers. There was only one marker in each fairway and you waste so much time pacing yardage and thats a nightmare, especially with cart path only rule.

My house is right by here so this is my course and I love it. Its on the lake so you get a Cool Breeze off of the water while youre playing. But dont tell anybody because I think its a great little secret golf course off the beat and path and I dont want everybody coming here or itll be hard to get a tee time. LOL

Played in the morning on a weekday. No problem w slow play but that could be cause of weekday play. For a public course it was in decent shape. The greens were better than some others I have played in the area. Its a short course, you play 9 holes twice using different greens. Finished the round in under 4 hours. For the price, you cant complain and youre playing by the lake. I would definitely go again.

Great little coarse, the greens and fairways are nicely groomed and staff very friendly. Yes you have to play 2 nine holes, pins seperated very nicely, they have a snack bar in slow times and cooked food during peak times. There is an area for live bands too and cold beer and other beverages.

You get what you pay for. Not a great course, but well worth it considering the cheap fees. The folks running the place are nice enough but not overly so. Criss-crossing paths at 5,6,7 can be confusing at first, but anybody can read a map, right? Great scenery, mix of distances/difficulty. Facilities arent luxury, but hardly a goat-ranch either. Perfect for a casual or beginner/intermediate player. Its no secret that its a double-9.BTW, most of the negative reviews on here sound so much alike that I wouldnt doubt they were written by the same one or two people.

This is the slowest golf course I ever played. They sent one golfers out at a time and many twosomes that should have been paired up. They have no idea how to manage a golf course. And when I tried to talk to management in a friendly manner, they were rude and turned their back to me and walked away. I dont think this place will be in business long or they will only attract an inexperienced golfers.

Two of us played on November 15th. Yes it was cold, yes it was windy. Only holes 1, 2, and 3 is where the brunt of the wind could be felt which was an enjoyable challenge. Holes 4 through 9 were not as windy or cold. My buddy played it for his first time and absolutely loved it. The course was in very good shape and the service could not been been any better. In can play slow for two reasons, over booking and this course is not easy. We had the course to ourselves. A great track to play 9 or 18 without the cost of flying to Scotland. I will be back more often.

4 of us reserved a tee time a few days before for Saturday morning. When we arrived ready to pay and play we were told that we never reserved a tee time! What, are you kidding me? What a horrible inconvenience!! The owner (Brandon) did not even try to help us out or take any type of remedial action. He just said you guys cant play! That was it! What a horrible place and terrible management.

I have been here several times and have enjoyed it in the past. However, it all changed recently when I tried to take my 8 year old daughter there. It is a perfect course for a young golfer to learn the game. Its too bad the course staff does not see it that way. I showed up on a Tuesday (not a busy saturday or sunday) with my daughter. The round was paid for and we getting ready to tee off and the worker told me that I had to ride along with another gentleman and my daughter could not go with us. I (and even the random guy I was going to have to ride with) was shocked. I was told if she wants to ride along with me I would have to pay for a full round and cart fee, but I wouldnt even be able to do that on that day. She flat out could not go with me. She was just going to ride along with me. I totally understand that policy when the course is packed and there arent any carts available, but that was not the case. I tried to reason with him to find a way for us to play, but he would not budge. I asked for a refund and he refused. We hadnt taken a single swing yet he would not issue a refund. I finally ended up leaving and going to a course down the road that was in much better shape and willing to get us on without a problem. I am always amazed at the lack of play at SP because it is a beautiful location for a golf course and should be one of the best courses in the area, but now I understand why. I was really disappointed because I like the course and thought it would be a great place for my daughter to learn, but I guess we will find a new place to spend our money.

Ive played this course several times, have probably contributed over $500 in green fees and never had a problem until recently:I dont appreciate being lectured by someone, especially when theyre 10 years younger than me and Im the customer.Yes, the young kid working in the morning on 4/1/17. That young man needs a serious ATTITUDE adjustment.I showed up 5 minutes late too my tee time, yes I took full responsibility for being late due to stomach problems. But what I didnt appreciate was this young man thinking he needed to teach me a lesson and lecture me on showing up on time and threatening to charge me an extra green fee the next time it happens. He was rude, condescending and very unprofessional. The greens are also terrible right now!I will no longer do business with you guys until I get an apology for the actions of the young man working there.

If I could give it 0 I would. First off this course is not very nice. My boyfriend loves golfing and wanted to golf with his friend but his friend cancelled last minute so I brought him and planned to ride around in the cart and keep score like I usually do. When we got there the Man at the front desk (who was quite rude) said wed have to pay and extra cart fee of 12$ for me to ride in the cart we already paid for. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me considering how crappy the course is. Ive been to many nicer courses who didnt mind someone tagging along. Very rude and unaccommodating. Stay away.

Terrible course. Very deceptive about the whole 9 hole vs. 18 hole issue. We had to play around construction the entire round, including waiting for a cement truck to back across the tee box in front of us. It was cheap, but was still more money than it was worth. The greens were in good condition, but the rest of the course wasnt. Overall, very negative experience and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Well I went here today and here is what I experienced.Pros: NONE - Awful course. NOTHING good whatsoever.Cons:1. Deceptive on Website. It should state its a 9hole course you play twice. Not mentioning that is just plain rude and makes me madder the more I think about it.2. Dumb layout - Why confuse everyone with all the tee boxes. JUst plaing idiotic.3. HARD greens and hard ground4. Carts - all the carts were out of alignment and tires worn, Yall might want to have someone with some form of mechanical skills or common sense to maintain vehicles5. PRICE - I wouldnt go back to this place if the total price was $10! Keep your money.Overall the people running this were nice. The starter said course was in great shape - well maybe if he was comparing it to an ACTUAL cow pasture! Thanks for your service to our country buddy but I think you bumped your head somewhere! At this point I would put this as the worst course I have ever played. And I have played most course in DFW!
