Great selection of fish, coral, and aquatic plants and they all appear very healthy and colorful. Great selection of medications. Not a huge variety of food or aquarium implements like filtration, heaters, or lights from my past few visits. I highly recommend the store for stocking your aquarium or your chemical needs.

They are still in the initial phase of setting the store up, but already have a really good selection. The prices here are probably the best youll find in the area and many items are comparable to online prices so shop here instead. The staff is friendly and Im really excited to see what this store turns in to.

Cute store, even though it looks like their main focus is on saltwater aquarium setups, they have a good selection of fresh water plants. Thankfully that was what I was looking for! Very reasonably priced and nice, helpful staff. They even looked up the scientific name and wrote down the name for my selection.

Small footprint, big selection. This was my first time in. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the store was clean and well kept. I bought two large pieces of driftwood that were more than reasonably priced, and their livestock prices appeared to be very competitive as well. They had a good balance of salt and freshwater. The tanks were nicely scaped and and the fish all looked to be very healthy. No floaters! Ill definitely be back.

Awesome selection, quality and quantity. So happy to have this store up the road! They have a great selection of coral, fish and gear.I messaged (I assume) the owner on Facebook about trading in some coral and he got right back to me with loads of details. I actually messaged a few local stores and the response here was the best, so I went there.Grabbed about 10 frags at a great value, Ill absolutely be back to get all my coral and fish in the future.

The guys at Aquastudios are truly excellent at their craft. Any questions I throw at them are always met with thoughtful answers and they really care about the fish and coral they sell.It is apparent that they love what they do and it is shows in their business practices. Sold me fish without tails. the ones with tails made it and the ones that didnt have tail did not. also tried to sell me clearly used stuff that had dirt and scratches without indicating so. stuck up and difficult to talk to

Great place! I drove 30 minutes for some fish medicine none of my local places carry in stock. They answered the phone to confirm they had the item, and offered curbside pickup. I ended up going in to get a few other items, all the staff wore masks and were very careful to answer questions and help with product recommendations while distancing. Wish I lived closer!

This place is awesome! Very knowledgeable staff that are passionate about the hobby. Great assortment or coral that are eye popping at a very affordable price makes it easy to revisit this place. If youre in the area stop a see for yourself but trust me you wont have to go anywhere else.

Brandon knows his stuff and is very helpful. They have good prices and quality livestock. Its a small store, so his dry goods are limited. But, he is willing to order anything that you want. I will be buying more from Aquastudios Aquarium in the near future.

The aquaria at this location are sparkling clean and I didnt see a single fish, FW or SW, that wasnt healthy and active. If youre knowledgeable, they dont condescend and if you need/want info, they educate.

Great place no doubt. I travel the dfw for different coral and fish stores and im so lucky this one is close to home. They have so much coral and the staff really know their stuff. Go in for some knowledge, leave with a new addition to the tank. Highly recommend

I’ve going to Brandon stores for years he tellsYou exactly what you need to hear. Before I add anything to my tank he will let me know if it’s a good or bad fit. Some stores you go to will sell you anything even though they know your other dish will kill it if you have the wrong mix of fish. Brandon is also very helpful on telling how to care for corals . Pretty awesome addition as a LFS! Awesome coral room with a variety of different light set ups to get a better idea of products and how they look and perform. Clean and quick store. Biggest thing for me.. their prices are awesome. So awesome, there’s no point of ordering online! Frankly, way better than DNA and restoring faith in a local store for me! Keep it up guys!

They had a wide variety of freshwater fish and invertebrates AND the prices were great. I went out of my way to stop by this store as they had a few smaller fish and shrimp that I couldnt find elsewhere. The staff is knowledgeable and helped me beyond my initial needs. Id highly recommend this shop.

Good selection of corals. A bit on the pricier end. They do quarantine their saltwater fish before putting them on sale so thats good. The guys there are nice and helpful.

Very recently changed ownership. New owner is revamping the store currently.They still have a ton of nice tanks and great prices. If you had issues before its a new store so stop in!Their live and dry rock selection is good and I imagine it will only get better. I went in for some freshwater stuff (seiryu rock) and almost wanted to build a new saltwater tank based on shelf rock and other interesting dry rock I saw ( Fiji, tonga, pukani)... They also have purple dry rock so if your starting a tank it was cheap and a good way to start a tank looking nice while waiting on live corraline to develop.They do still have frags and other reef goodies.Ill be back soon to see how things go.

We have been here several times and each and every time the staff has been so helpful and friendly! They have a good selection of healthy livestock and are very reasonably priced. I have freshwater tanks and my husband does saltwater, and they have a good selection of supplies for both. Overall great spot for supplies and livestock, happy we found this place!

Love this place. We bought a complete stand, aquarium, decor, install, water etc from these guys for a 90 gallon freshwater aquarium. Not only did they deliver and helped us get it set up but their customer service and patience in answering all our questions has been five star. I had shopped around for the setup I wanted and Aquastudios pricing was far FAR better than their larger competitors. Not only did I get the aquarium of my dreams but I saved hundreds of dollars because of their more reasonable prices. While their freshwater fish selection is smaller than some of their bigger competitors, you can tell the fish are healthy and hand selected by these guys. They can also usually acquire fish or products we are looking for in just a few days if they do not have it in stock. It’s also nice to get to ask these guys how to do things as they have all been in the industry for many years and know their stuff. We are very glad we found this place. This place has a new owner; about 6 months ago.They are remodeling this place. The frag room and other areas they have finished are really nice.Good group of young guys, very helpful.Keep your eye on this place. Should be awesome in a few months.Still worth the trip.

The people that work in the store are very knowledgeable and help you with any issues you should come up with when dealing with your Fishtank. I ordered my Red Sea Reefer XXL 750 through Aqua Studios. With help from Ryan I was able to get the tank of my dreams. This last weekend Ryan came out and helped me set it up, aquascape it, and plumb the tank up. Their knowledge of reefkeeping is unmatched compared to other local LFS IMO.I shop at several local LFS including Dallas North Aquarium and what separates these guys is their knowledge. They simply know more about the subject than any employees you will find elsewhere. They are going to answer all questions and make sure your system is ready for anything you are buying.rather than just selling you something that you may or may not need, or, selling you something your system is not ready for.Top notch!

The staff is what makes this place what it is. Cant say enough great things about them! I was told changes are coming soon to make a way better store, but as of now it felt geared towards more experienced fish keepers. More tanks (I was told coming soon) and more beginner to intermediate shelf items would be nice. I like having an actual fish store near by but I dont enjoy feeling like I walked into the big leagues when I go. Even for beginners though, the staff is excellent, friendly, and more than willing to help with anything. Would definitely recommend.

My favorite LFS to visit to buy Corals, CUC and dry good. They have great prices on everything on the shop. Very knowledgable crew and always a great time talking to Brandon about whats going on in the coral industry. You will not be disappointed with the selection of corals they have! I even found a filefish that eats aiptasia here!!

Went for my 1st time last weekend the 2 employees that were there helped me out at the same time they were excited to see how much I was interested in reef aquariums. I love their coral selection and pricing was great. I got 3 corals and will be going back soon. The corals I got are doing great. I am new to saltwater aquariums and they had a lot of knowledge on where to place them on my reef.

I love the staff, they are so patient and friendly. The coral selection is amazing, there is a rotating inventory of fish that I assume it will only get better as the new owners get settled in. We have big and small tanks, fresh and salt, and we always go here first!

Great place for all your saltwater needs, Elos has macro algae, pods, and all the products to maintain a awesome tank. They also have some of the cheapest and pretty rare corals. Keep up the good work guys!

Places easy to give to you. Tanks were not stocked with hardly any fish. And they had no pods that I was looking for. Blamed it on their supplier. Staff was a little rude.

Talked to the owner and he will be changing the layout of his shop to have more stuff to display. He will also be putting more freshwater plants out in the future along with dwarf shrimp. I am looking forward to the transformation.

This has to be one of the best Aquarium stores I have ever been in. Literally they have everything you could need and are so nice and helpful. If you are in The Colony or really anywhere at all, you should check these guys out.

Stupid place. The timings are all wrong on their shop door and on website. Went there twice both times they were closed. Came here Thursday and now it’s Sunday 2pm and they are closed. Tried to call them no one answers. Total waste of time; will never come back.

There decently price...friendly staff..and all around good store

The two guys that work there didnt know a thing about salt water fish. First,one of the guy that works there, told me that a female clown fish can turn back to male if a bigger clown fish is placed in the tank... what a joke lol. Its a damn one way trip with clown fishes. Once a male clown fish turns into a female clown fish, its always Female. There is no changing back to male. Second, they dont take care of fishes very well. Some of the fishes there looks very sick. Third, they let their corals die and still display the skeleton for customers to see. Like, damn #corallifematter. All I can say is,I give that place a 2 star because the place looks clean and they did had some pretty looking tanks.

Drove 30 miles based on what I saw on eBay. Waited over 20 minutes while I guess a preferred customer got all of the attention from both employees. Tanks are also are crawling with multiple forms of nuisance algae so I guess it is ok I left without service.

Right off the bat, my favorite thing about Elos is that they don’t talk down to you or treat you like an idiot when it comes to the specialized hobby of saltwater aquariums that other stores do. I should also let you know I am an idiot when it comes to all things like this, so I know.I am so excited to finally have a saltwater aquarium store in Northwest DFW. They have a vast array of corals from low to high, endless fish, and a gorgeous set up that makes me want to buy everything. Every time I’ve needed something, they’ll take my call or take time out of their shift to explain something to me and not oversell me.If you need service at your house, they come out for a reasonable if not cheap cost. If they don’t know something, they’ll find out.Chaos erupted in my aquarium this past week in the form of an algae bloom and coral meltdown and Collin came out and spent 2+ hours scrubbing, cleaning, and helping me murder the bristle worms that freak out my wife. He texted when he was on his way, arrived on time, and left me with supplies and filled up my extra reservoir with salt water. This is top notch service.My kids finally have a Nemo and a Dory and they’re now living in a clean and safe environment thanks to Elos. I highly recommend them across the board.
