I absolutely loved it!! Though one thing that would make it more interesting is if they had more people running around outside of the houses with chainsaws after people. Those are awesome! I had a super fun time. Will definitely be back next year!!

For two people online it comes out to be $97 and some change plus $10 for parking. You get to wait in a line longer then a Starbucks at 8am on a Monday however they do move fast. But for $100 you are paying $33.33 per attraction! If they would add a new attraction or update the old ones I would understand the ridiculous price. However it is a good time and you will get a little scared or terrified.

Excellent experience with three attractions. Makeup is wonderful, the actors are committed to their work and it is a fun environment. Pricing is a little steep and they charge for parking which is a little unnecessary. But if you are looking for a solid scare and arent worried about the money this is for you. You definitly get what you pay for!

First time here at Thrillvania and it was pretty good. Attended during a national pandemic and was impressed with the safety measures in place and how quickly the line moved for a sold out crowd. The actors and the detailed props were great as well. Definitely would recommend to others.

It was a very cool and spooky experience, food was good and the attractions themselves were very unique and fun for anyone I might add. Only con I had really was the fact that there wasn’t enough spacing from groups and wasn’t able to truly enjoy the experience if I already saw the scares that was happening to the group in front and would kinda buzzkill it but overall a good experience and had a great time. Thank you guys!

Very well coordinated. The workers were excellent and efficient, friendly and welcoming. The actors were scary and took their jobs seriously..the opening night we were not called in over an hour and a half.. it was very late and we needed to leave (and we had fast passes!) so we left. We know the sign in process was brand new.. lots of confusion. Long story, short, I emailed asking if we could use our tickets for another night and within minutes they replied that we could.. how very nice!Thank you and well done for such chaotic times.

Decided to go on Halloween night and it was everything I expected and more! I really didnt think that I would get that freaked out but I did! The actors did an amazing job. It was hard to try and appreciate the beautiful set up of every attraction on top of the fear of being spooked again. (But we did because wow) It was my boyfriends first experience with a haunted house and he said it was worth every penny. Thank you for such a perfect Halloween experience!!

Definitely not worth the money or the parking fee. We got there around 9:30 so I don’t know if staff was already off or was just ready to go but the actors seemed sparse and not into it. There were 3 houses which took us about an hour to get through but by the end of it I didn’t feel satisfied. We spent close to $70 and drove an hour and felt “eh” about our experience.

Ive gone to this attraction quite a few times over the years now and had a few varying experiences but my most recent was positive. They did well under the circumstances of providing a fun experience. My only tweaks would be making the manor longer, its gotten shorter each time Ive attended which is unfortunate because in the past with the graveyard (which i would love to see return) walkthrough it was a really cool experience. The spacing of groups was also not ideal. While it helped reduce any waiting too often we would catch up with group in front of us or the group behind would catch up, which kind of defeated the purpose of trying to social distance groups. The main house and Cassandras were fun but my favorite of the three was the trail which was great. They did a wonderful job of decorating and creating a creepy environment. All of the actors we encountered throughout the houses/trail were also enthusiastic and made the experience fun. Its also notable that it would be cool to see them revamp the merch, there used to be a really cool shop right after the main manor but they didnt have much this time. Hopefully some of the stuff I mentioned in this review will be addressed to make it an even more enjoyable experience. But altogether Id say Im looking forward to next time and seeing what they have in store for next season.

Totally worth the drive out!!! Amazing experience!!!Not going to lie, at first we thought the price was kinda high, BUT afterwards so glad we did it. You actually get three haunted experiences, so it really was worth the money. They also had snack bars and other things to do there also. The actors where awesome and even posed for pictures with us. The house is amazing!!! The haunted woods was crazy scary, and not gonna lie I may or may not have peed my paints. Lol. ️

We took our 6 kids, age 8-15, and the whole family had a blast. We do a haunted house every year in October and this one has been our favorite so far. I totally recommend getting the speed pass as it gets you to the front of the line. Their consideration during covid was very reassuring as well. There were hand sanitizer stations everywhere, and they took great precautions.

Very Well coordinated and the haunted houses did not disappoint! Giving a 3 star for the prices and the fact that the haunted trail leads to parking lot.You think it’s $40 admission, but it’s almost $50 with a service fee and parking is $10. It’s a bit unreasonable considering there’s on 2 haunted houses and a haunted trail that takes you to the parking lot. Also, when leaving the trail, it can be a bit dangerous since it goes out to the line of cars trying to exit the parking lot. There should at least be a caution sign.

USED to be a great park. They started charging to park in their old muddy parking lot. Then you get in line, once you get to the front you’re told you have to get in a separate line to sign a waiver (which we did online) then back in the other line to get tickets (which were ordered online). Then in another line for security and entrance. Only 2 houses and the trail are still open. Saw literally 1 actor walking around outside. Houses were fine and the workers were all kind. Seems like a management problem. Should’ve read the other reviews. Won’t be back until I hear some positive changes are made. Best of luck.

We almost didnt go after reading some of the negative reviews, but we had been several years ago and loved it, so we decided to give it a try. My husband and I took our 15 year-old daughter and her boyfriend, and we all loved it and had a great time! We did buy the fastpass because we were a little limited on time, but regular lines didnt look too long. We thought the attention to detail in the 2-story manor was amazing, and there was the perfect amount of fright without being over the top. I really dont understand the negative ratings. We will be back next year for sure!

Hard pass. This used to be almost a theme park. There used to be freak shows, fortune tellers, merch, excellent concessions, AND the three haunted attractions. Now, you pay 40$ per person to stand in line for three hours, in a parking lot, with nothing to look or do and very little to eat (nothing, if you have ANY dietary restrictions) for a combined sum of 25 minutes of actual entertainment. Oh, you have to go to the attractions in order. Clown house, THEN the manor, then the trail. I understand the trail having to be last, as it lets out in the parking lot, but why do I have to stand in one REALLY long line to then stand in another REALLY long line? Couldnt some people do one and some do the other and then swap? Whatever. It was a waste of $120 bucks and a waste of a 45 minute drive.

Thus establishment was better b4 it merged with the Cutting Edge several years prior. The cutting edge has since departed and went its own way after firing several of its original cast members. Just doesnt have that small town feeling anymore. Plus several of the original shows have either changed or done away with. Lance (the owner) would not b happy with the way it has went over the years since his passing. We havent been back in years and most likely will never again.

I have been coming here since the late 80s when Lance Pope ran it and it was in Forney.. I dont remember if it was like this last year, but this year you could only go to the houses once. The houses were pretty good and the Trail was fantastic. But, $10 to park? PLUS you cannot take your purse or even your wallet in the park with you. I was told by a Police Officer in the parking lot that I couldnt take my purse BUT that I could take my wallet if it fit in my pocket, which it did. My wallet is 4 inches long and not even an inch wide. When I got to the booth to redeem my online tickets they asked to see everything in my pockets. I took my wallet out, they said that I COULD NOT take my wallet in. I had about 150.00 in there so I wasnt going to leave my wallet with them with the cash so I had to take out my credit card, my drivers license and my cash and put it in my jeans pocket while they put my wallet in a Rubbermaid tub. I told them the officer told me something completely different but they werent going to budge. My male cousin, on the other had, could take his wallet in. He showed them his and they were fine with it... Am I missing something???The guys were nice about it but one of the women in the booth was really rude about it. I did not lose my temper, yell, scream or cuss. I merely wanted to know why I couldnt have my wallet and why my cousin could take his. His wallet was larger than mine. After I asked why she said, Well, the time it took you to ask us that you could have done back to your car and put your wallet back in it. After driving 45 minutes in the storm and getting muddy and drenched just walking from the parking lot to the booth, that was the last thing that I wanted to do. I never leave my wallet in my car. Plus, they are assuming a lot of liability taking care, custody and control of peoples purses and wallets.. Its really an odd rule, in my opinion. Extremely rude of her.., after 29 years of enjoying this haunt, this was my last. Just not the same....

This one was definitely a disappointment. You drive out to bfe and plop down ANOTHER $15 on top of what you already spent just to park in a field. It wasnt crowded, but to the point that it was kinda sad.The Clown House was a highlight. Its all black lit with cool neon everywhere. EDM music was blaring. It was a cool alternative to a conventional haunted house. The main attraction is alright. It opened in the 90s and I went back then. It was amazing at the time, but it stayed pretty much the same while competition innovated more. The 3rd attraction is a haunted graveyard to provides a cool ambiance but minimal scares. It barely counts as an attraction to me.Overall ambiance smacks of what was once the best of the best some 20 years ago is now desperately clinging on. There are some decent decorations, but no music, no dj, no cool lighting. There are two food vendors and thats it. No alcohol.

Went a few weeks ago for the first time, didn’t disappoint! Staff was friendly, the detail that went into all the houses was quite impressive. The actors were really good, and actually scary. I’m not much of a screamer when I go to haunted houses, but there was so much going on and they did a great job at having focal points throughout to catch you off guard and the actors could actually give you a good scare. The actors were really into it and seemed like they enjoyed being there. I would highly recommend this haunted house! Much better than most in the dfw area.

Fun park! Parking was in a grass lot for $10. There was a separate line for online tickets, where you first had to get in line to sign a waiver, then go through and get a paper ticket. They dont allow purses. It was still pretty muddy in the parking lot and on the trail. All three atrractions were great. Started with the 3D clown house, then the manor, and ended on the trail. Lines werent too bad, so it didnt seem worth it to pay extra for VIP. Overall really enjoyed the jump scares, the actors were good, and there were some pretty scary rooms where you couldnt see a thing.

Thrillvania was less than thrilling. You start paying as soon as you hit the parking lot then you get in line to sign the waiver then get in line to buy tickets (cash only) then you get in the park and more than half of the features are closed due to water damage the two remaining features they only allow you to go through once and the flame thrower doesnt work anymore. Yet they charged full price. There should have been a disclaimer on the website about the damaged and closed features and they shouldnt have charged people full price and the trail was so sparsely populated with live actors that it was mostly a long boring slog through mud back to your car. At least they could have beefed up the trail to try and make up for the closed features. Ill be going to dark hour hopefully to have a better experience.

My family and I used to come every year a while back and it’s been a place I’ve told my friends about. Every since new owners EVERYTHING has changed for the WORST.Use to you could visit each house/ trail as many times as you want. Now you have to go thru one by one. One time each. For the cost you should be able to do them as many as u like.ALSO there use to be a log graveyard you walk thru to get to verdun manor now you just walk up and straight in the doors. So as thrilling that way. They use to have magic shows and lots of scary actors walking around outside as well as a maze, fog, strobe lights, now everything sucks it’s not a scary environment just rushing you to get thru not much to see or do anymore. Some ppl drive a long way to only spend MAYBE AN HOUR here.Thrillvania needs to step it up! And bring some old stuff back or we won’t be going back and we will tell all our friends not to either

Its been a while since.my husband and I got to have a date night, we.decided to go out last night. only to be held at the entrance for over an hour, by the police and staff. They were hoping they could find something on us, they were trying theyre hardest to get my husband arrested. We arrived excited and ready to be scared, we tried buying our tickets and it turned out we had a fake 100 dollar bill, we apologized for not knowing and we went ahead and paid our tickets with other money. As we were walking towards the entrance the police officer pulled my husband to the side and asked him for his ID and what not. They even had the sheriff drive out there at midnight, which he has not too happy with. Some of the employees were nice most of them were just like the officers, laughing and hoping they could get us arrested somehow. They all continued to make smart remarks. It was by far the worse experience EVER! We were humiliated and profiled. I hope nothing like this ever happens to anyone else.Besides the fact that it was completely empty, no Halloween atmosphere, very poorly staffed.

I thought I would get refunded immediately but as a precaution decided to contact the company just to be sure that I would in fact get my refund and received a text message that I would be put on a refund list. It’s been over two weeks and I have not received anything at this time. Looking back at the text I question what they mean by a refund list? There is no reason for a list, I paid for a service I did not receive. And Terrell is so far from Fort Worth it is dumb that they would assume I would want to drive that distance! At night during a work week! I still expect a refund but you can bet I will never go here. I will never purchase tickets in advance for any outdoor theme this park.

3 houses in one park. Not only are there people in the houses to scare you but there are midway actors between attractions who are steadily trying to invade your space. All around good clean fun. If youre going to a haunted house to be scared, annoyed, or even made to laugh this is your place. Every year I have a blast out there. Did I mention they have a concession stand for your food and beverage needs? Lots of photo opportunities within the park. Be prepared to pay a parking fee along with your ticket cost. It sounds horrible but Ive been to many haunts that do just the same so I find it to be not as big of an issue as most.

Went this past Halloween (2016) and was disappointed to say the least. I remember this haunted house from back in the glory days. It is most definitely not what it used to be. The best thing about the park now is the attention to detail on the different kinds of horror sets. The visuals are amazing! The acting is non-existent with very few actors. Verdun is still iconic as always. Only 3 attractions now where there used to be more. Literally took less than an hour to be in and out the park. No one was there! The Halloween atmosphere was non-existent! They had food. Thrillvania is just not worth the money! Seeing as how the Cutting Edge Haunted House owns Thrillvania now, youre better off just going to Cutting Edge because they probably put most of their energy and resources towards it seeing as how it is their money maker. Thrillvania has so much potential still! Wish they could get it poppin again. Only if Lance was still alive!

I dont know what some of these people are talking about. I dont know why people are giving it bad reviews. I went to Thrillvania about two years ago and it was excellent then, and its the same now! Yeah, its a drive, but its worth it! I liked the clown house, I got lots of scares and the entertainers are not only scary but funny as hell. I love all the special effects, especially in Verdun Manor, which apparently was a real house where Verdun killed his family or something. I enjoyed the trail, too, my favorite part was when I was blinded with the white smoke/fog, haha. The only disappointing factor was my favorite attraction there wasnt open, which is the one where you go through and its completely dark! A staff member said it was under construction. ;( Maybe next year! Keep up the good work, Thrillvania!
