I went here a couple of years ago, Most of the time I didnt like it. The staff was bad besides from a select few they never paid attention to anything heck you could jump the fence and leave the place. I even had my stuff stolen whist here because the people watching the stuff didnt even bother to check if the things being taken are actually owned by that kid, I could have probably stolen so much stuff if I wanted to.
This facility is very current and full of entertainment for the kiddos. The staff know my kids by name and are consistent with their rules. Jeff, the Club Director, is out there every morning and every afternoon making sure the kids arrive safe and leave safe. He always makes himself available to address any concerns. Great and caring staff! Clean and organized facility! Im so happy our communitys have a great place to go during the summer.
My kids love this place. By be warned, the staff is ALWAYS on their cell phones. I have called numerous times this summer complaining and I get the same answer, We will notify the director. It is ridiculous. They need to put the phones in the office or something during the day. I had a friend that was at the Temple pool when Ralph Wilson was there, and she called me and said EVERY staff member was sitting on the picnic tables on there phones the entire time. I realize there is a life guard, but that is not the point. You get paid to monitor our children, do your job. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the facility itself is nice, and clean, and my kids have a good time. However, due to the cell phone use, I believe there is a safety concern. I will likely not take my children back next summer if there isnt a drastic change.
My wife went to get information on this place. There was no one at the reception area. She waited about 15 minutes. Then an employee came out and went back inside. Totally ignored the other customers waiting. Finally, someone else showed up but was not friendly at all. He basically said what do need in a not so friendly tone. When my wife asked to speak to Cherry, he stated that she was in a meeting. He did not offered any additional information or assistance. Very cold customer service.
Im from Austin Texas and Im telling you right now that this has got to be the best summer camp you can send your kid to during the summer at the most affordable rate... They have a roller skating rink in a theater inside... Im totally shocked and thankful that this place is here...
Kids get nothing but structured time all school year long. This place allows kids to join in and out of activities and move freely in an unstructured way. I think of it as playing outside in the modern day and age. If your child is used to being coddled and needs constant guidance this place will teach them to be more self-sufficient, just by giving them confidence by experience in playing with lots of kids from all backgrounds. They have many activities to choose from that are all part of the program. My son had a good time here. I would rather pay a reasonable amount of money for him to attend here than have him sit at home all day watching TV or playing video games. The older kids that guide the kids were great, and he looked up to them.
Very nice new facility. Like a community-oriented upscale boys/girls club. Great staff. Amazing play space.
This is a very bad, unsafe and unclean place for Kids, people in charge dont even know who and when kids are out of the facility and who take them out. My daughter was with fever and the staff ignore her, the managers answer (Cherry) was:it is the child responsibility to know there is a nurse and go to her.
I brought my kids to get a backpack with school supplies from the back pack buddies. This is a lot of help for me and want to say Thank you to back pack buddies.
Great place for kids to play and have fun
It really helps you find how to get were you need to go
Last week my son who is 7 years old, fell on the ground while playing and got hurt (not badly, but still painful for him), he was told to go to the nurse, but he did not know where the nurse office was, he walked around the whole facility and could find the nurse, he did not ask for help and nobody helped, but it was obvious that he needed help.
