One of my favorite spots for tasty Bar food. Its so tasty. Service is consistently good. The bill was decent for the quality.

Awesome experience. Met new friends. Shot pool and enjoyed a good time.

I used to like going here but lately not so much. Went the past couple Sat for karaoke and never got called to sing. And we were there for hours drinking. My husband put his name on the list early and it wasnt crowded. After we watched the same lady sing 3 times it looked like definite Favortism! Karaoke guy is rude!

If you are wanting a place to go for karaoke then I advised you to go to Bos barn are somewhere else because over a yr now same people same songs. Like the karaoke guy has his fav. Spoke to owner about it WASTED TIME just look at the comments no response cause they dont care to better them selfs. Great staff but a lousy place to go for fun and food must used use oil

The Green Door. Went to this bar on a Friday night not knowing what to expect. And right off the back the greeting was great the atmosphere was awesome . There was a piano/ drummer duel jamming away playing great music! Awesome place to pre game or stick around for the whole night. The service was good and friendly. The only problem was they did not sell buckets or pitchers of alcoholic beverages. But the place was still great! And just like the Terminator ILL BE BACK!

My bill was way to HIGH. When I voiced my issue it was like I was in the wrong. The staff was rude. Dont blame Covid.

We went for breakfast.The good: the decor is cool.The meh: the place was nearly empty, but the service still took forever. The food was mediocre, at best. The orange juice was brought to us in bottles like you get at a convenience store... And with gigantic cups of ice. Just... Weird.The bad: I found a hair in my food. We had to ask twice, with over ten minutes in between, for hot sauce - which the food badly needed.I wont be back for breakfast, for sure.

Good live music and a chill atmosphere. Beers are a bit pricey but the service is quick.

I absolutely love this restaurant and choose it over any place near and far. I love to support our local businesses so it’s perfect for us! Sam is our server we see at the very least once a week and all the servers are very nice and the environment is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food is always good no matter what we get including desserts. They always have specials that vary from day to day that are very eclectic and unique. I hope they stick around! Definitely a place to try out!

Always a great time at Green Door! Great selection of craft beers on tap, the wait staff is awesome; very attentive and super friendly. Live music is frequent, and is a huge draw for us, and the food is pretty good too!

Advice: If you have a DD that is under 21 they cant go in so dont bother if thats the case. Not entirely sure the reason they had a $5 cover fee since there wasnt anything special about the place.

Good beer selection, pool tables, live music. Its a fun place. Temple allows indoor smoking, so you will smell like smoke. Its the same at every bar in the area, though.

Always good drinks, food and the best of all, company. Good ppl at Green Door from all walks of life. Dave Romans is the best bar tender on the planet so say drop in, say hello, and have a shot with him. Better yet take your chances and challenge this shark to a game of pool. Best of luck to ya!

I enjoyed this stop..not often do I go but the entire bunch...employees and customers were very nice and made me feel welcome while I stopped in to drink and dine alone.

The Friday night piano player is awesome! Fun place to go with friends. Drinks are decent. I’ve only been on Friday nights so I can only speak of Fridays, nice vibe, clean restrooms, service was fair.

The piano sing along night is spectacular. My favorite time to go.

Rode the bike from Houston to see the bike drag races. After the races we looked for a biker friendly bar to get a bite and have a beer. We did not find this place to be biker friendly. The waiter waited on everyone around us but ignored us. I had to go to the bar to order our food, beer and to pay our tab. I found the bartender to be a little sarcastic. I had a Shiner draft that was a little warm. Because everyone else was receiving good service but my wife and I, we could only conclude that they were not biker friendly as we were the only bikers in the bar and didnt receive any service. The only reason for 2 stars is because of the live music and the food was good.

As far as I know, Green Door is the best bar in Temple. Decent draft beer selection and good bands most of the time. The problem is the volume. When the piano player is in there, its painfully loud. They route PA speakers into their pool room and blast those. All of my friends that went needed it turned down. We asked several employees. Every one of the employees said we wish they would turn it down too. the owner wont let us. So thats why I cant give it 5 stars.

At first, the place is welcoming, the staff is very pleasant, and the crowd is friendly. The live bands playing are professional and they know how to interact with the customers.I’d give it a higher rating, but with the exception of a certain bartender’s attitude. I don’t want to discriminate, but there comes a time where we no longer can provide the service customers deserve, and it is best to seek employment somewhere else or retire. Just because I inquire about a particular beer does not warrant a sarcastic eye rolling and a cold shoulder for the rest of the night.All in all, recommended, but bring your date, and get your drinks from the younger bartending staff.

Went for the first time last night. Service was great. Drinks very affordable. Food was awesome. Great music..cool crowd..good vibe and pool was free on Sunday. Definitely going back!

Great drinks and super nice staff!

I was surprised by the excellent live music on a Tuesday night in Temple. Other than that, there were ~40 people there, good drinks, good pool tables, and shuffleboard. It seems like a good place to hang out with friends. I do wish they had more local beer like Salado brewing and others offered at Obriens. I would definitely go back, but -1 star for bartenders having conversations amongst themselves in front of waiting customers and -1 for other customers being allowed to smoke inside.

Large bar, with good service. Sad its not as focused on their piano-bar-theme that originally brought me there. Still nice for a stop for beer. Didnt really try any of their mixed beverages, but beer was cold.

Excellent bar with great wait staff. Very clean, which is a must for me. Pool tables, on certain nights good live entertainment. On my visits friendly crowds. Small cover charge when they have live entertainment. Not sure if they eats.

Russell Boyd and Joe are fantastic. They are there most Fridays.

Watch out for the police who just stand out outside waiting for you to walk out. They also wait in their patrol cars and look for everyone leaving the bar. Otherwise nice place to chill and play pool. Good selection of beer too

We liked it a lot! We go to local bars wherever we are and this one was our kind of bar. Laid back atmosphere and county music.

In a common wednesday, just a few people in the bar, but the pool tables are always with one player, at least. The people from the bar are very kind and polite, but theres no attractions besides the ordinary. The specialty here are the pool tables. Thats it.

Went with a group of family members. There were five of us in the group and we paid for a game of pool. There was no cue ball in the table, so we found someone to help us. The guy who came to help us was rude little guy. He said that he would open another table for us since we already paid, but surprise, surprise, they magically lost the key.We asked if they would cover our game, and the guy told us no. The guy then started popping an attitude and baiting one of the members of our group. He was rude and very disrespectful and got into our group members face.The guy then came and addressed the rest of our group and told us that he didnt appreciate our attitude when he was trying to help us. He offered no solution for us and continued in his disrespectful manner.I will not be returning for as long as their customer remains that awful and employees are allowed to insult customers.Eric at the bar was awesome though. I give him 5 stars. The rest of the place would get 0 if I could give it.

I love this bar its friendly and they have good priced drinks, vanessa the waitress was very helpful, Eric and Chris are 2 of the bartenders and they are always very nice, and the owner is awesome too

Great place if you enjoy the though of a good drink with friends or if you are alone. The service is great and friendly, drinks are at a fair price. Great place to play pool and at times you can find a live band.

This place used to be okay and had a piano bar. It is pretty much a smokey pool hall now. Literally nothing else there but pool tables. The crowd is trashy and I will likely never go back.Food menu used to have options. You can now get fried or double fried. No thanks.Bathrooms are horrid.

Best local bar offering friendly service....an occasional live performance....karaoke.....billards.....both league play and drop in......plus the owner is on site most nights.......great waitresses....easy bar to drop by and have a couple of drinks......have never felt unwelcomed.
