Every year it is different and amazing! The kids love it and so do the adults. But really the 2 year old was the best. He kept pointing and saying look at the lights! He was sad when we left. I totally recommend doing this for the holidays. Worth it.
Great event. Very well organized with minimal wait. Ticket purchase was easy. The drive takes about 30 minutes and the light show continues to surprise and amaze the whole time. Our 8 month old granddaughter loved every minute.
This was actually pretty cool for the kids. I have an 8 year old and a 1 and half year old. The baby loved it and the 8 year old liked it. There was only 4 of us in the car so for $30 it wasnt too bad since you pay per car and not per person. I probably wouldnt go again but its worth a try at least once.
We were in town for the week and while driving past the display one evening, my boys (7 and 5) requested us to go and see them. We went the following night and I’m so glad we did. My boys loved sticking their head out the top of our car and taking in all of the beautiful light displays. The music choices were on point, upbeat and added so much fun to the drive. Be sure to keep a lookout while passing the large snowman because although snow is unheard of in Arizona, Christmas magic makes it happen!
This was such a great event! So worth it. I’m so happy we went, the music going along was great. Getting in (after buying the ticket online) wasn’t too long of a wait. Everything was smooth and it was so fun. We will be going again!!!
Really great Christmas light experience. Something safe to do during COVID with the kids. The light show is top notch. Been there twice already this year. Great work !
Fun, festive & magical. Great family outing. Kids love to ride in the back of a truck... bring some blankets, hot cocoa, and an extra speaker! This is our third year... we’ll be back!
Went last night. Wasn’t as good as the past two years. Not much Christmas music and long pauses between change in songs. Also, not as many lighted characters as in years past. Too many lighted poles. The snow coming out of the Snowmans hat was an added bonus. Seems like this theme in Tempe was not thought all the way through. Might have to check out the other one in Glendale.
Went to the 2020 grand opening this weekend. One word: AWESOME. We loved every light and every song. My kids are 7 and 11 but I would say this is definitely an event for all ages. Last year was great but this year is way better. Get out of the house and go! It’s worth it.
Really nice light display complete with music and fake suds snow. 3D glasses are cute, but nothing super special! Overall, a very fun experience for the whole family (ages 3-70!)
This was really awesome for the kids!!! They really enjoyed it!!! I think there were too many long pauses between songs. You should also tell people at the beginning to leave 2 or 3 carlengths between each vehicle instead of riding up on each other . Otherwise it was amazing. Could have chosen better songs too!! Would go again!
We are new to the area and just went to the show tonight. The music and light choreography was amazing. It was very peaceful and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The price per car was more than reasonable, and worth it.
Very fun for a group to go together. We had 6 in back of pickup and some in cab. Bring your own snack and hot chocolate and blankies. Decent value if you can pack quite a few people in on vehicle.
Last year was way better, I felt, as this year we tried the 3D glasses which were just a sham to get more money. All the glasses do is make all the lights snowmen. Just. Snowmen. The moon is a snowman. The streetlights are snowmen. Every light is snowmen. Many of the lights in the second half of the ride were noticeably broken and the lights were very flashy, which easily hurts the eyes. They had “snow” which was just foam that would mean you’d have to clean your window again and they had this open even before thanksgiving for some reason. The radio song had 50% of their songs not Christmas themed at all which likely was a result of belief that the Christmas songs wouldn’t be enough to make it as enjoyable as possible. I wasn’t the driver but being taken here for a second year I expected improvements, not downgrading.
Was an amazing experience for the wife and kiddos. Price was good and the lights were fantastic. 10/10 would recommend
Awesome lights and scenery. I also enjoyed the fake snow that was blown to add to the winter theme. The drive thru was also very organized. I appreciated that. Also it was in a very accessible location.
This place was great. Kids loved it. Good value for a family since its by the car not per person.
Definitely recommend it!!. My kids are 5 and 3 years old. They loved it. Its a nice and safe change from everything going on this year
Very cool experience for the family and I. You can tell the creators of this show were very meticulous with their work, and the outcome was great. Only suggestion i have for future visitors is dont drive a manual transmission vehicle (youre leg will end up mighty tired, but that is my own fault lol)
This was an amazing experience. The syncing of the music and the light was spectacular. I will be going again this Holiday season. Make sure you go to the world of illumination. Making great memories with family here.
HelloWe went as a family. The lights and music for the kids were very exciting. The one thing I would recommend for everybody. Do not spend the $10.00 on the 3D glasses. They do nothing. They are a huge waste of money. Dont make them rich on that scam. All you see is floating snowmen. Its really a rip off. They should be ashamed they are ripping people off with that.
This year was OK, last 2 years were WAY better and played all Christmas songs. Maybe the Glendale location has more Christmas songs, and the new theme in Tempe means less Christmas songs? Its Christmas lights people, come on... The good T. S. O. Song was on when we were in the parking lot paying, so we missed that one, there was one good Christmas song (Toby Mac - Little drummer boy) a couple weve never heard before, and the Elsa song was a waste of time and boring, guess maybe its popular to some people. Waste of money on the 3D glasses. Hope next year they bring back actual Christmas songs.
My 6 and 8 yr old thought this was AMAZING! Hardly had to wait to get in on tuesday night. Covid safe activity and fun to let kids get into the holiday spirit!
The shows is really fun and there were a lot of impressive displays. A couple of things that could have been better: The line was really long and I would have preferred a few more classic Christmas tunes.
Well worth the price especially if you pack the car. Professional light show ser to music that young and old will enjoy. Music selection was excellent. Well worth the time and price.
The experience started with a need to change the night we attended which was handle seamlessly and immediately. Fantastic customer service. We were actually a few minutes early and were graciously admitted to the event. Well done World of Illumination in all aspects of an experience.
Overall, we really enjoyed it. Our only criticism would be the music. It would have been nice if there were some traditional Christmas songs mixed in with the poppy ones.
We make this a yearly tradition and havent missed it once. Its well organized and the lights are amazing. Perfect for the holidays
Beautiful lights my kids loved it, but the staff seemed unprepared. We weren’t offered snacks or 3D glasses to purchase and at the end of the cruise it’s not explained that you can pull over to the church parking lot to strap the kids back in. It looks as if you’re getting right on the highway after the cruise BUT again my little ones loved it so it was worth the trouble.
Really well done. Super detailed. Better than expected. Only wish it was a longer drive
The kids loved it! They were so excited. Glad that we did this! we will be back next year maybe sooner!!
This is so much fun. It was our second year going. The kids adore it and its just fun to watch the lights go with the music. We were singing along to the songs and dancing. The baby was mesmerized. It was a long line to get in but they were very organized and we didnt wait that long. Maybe 20mins tops. Very well executed. Will be back next year. For covid related, the workers all had masks and there was zero interaction with anyone else. Very safe.
Very disappointing when compared to last year. Very few songs were even Christmas songs and it lacked variety of lights. Last year was easily 10 times better.
Lots of fun! Great for kids. 3D glasses total rip off, don’t waste the $10.
The place is fun, but its a giant cluster bomb.So we went to the Tempe location 2 years ago and it was great! Absolutely no complaints about that location. But last year and this year we went to the new Glendale location.Last year, the line was insane and there was no traffic direction. It took us well over an hour just to get to the check in and another 30 minutes to get started. If you know the area the line wrapped all the way to the Cabelas! But if you were coming from the east or south you could cut in front of everyone! This year,we opted to do the drive in concert and show package. The concert was supposed to be two hands, but there was only one. They didnt even tell us that when they checked in!This year was managed much better, but they were doing some crazy things with the lines. They split you off into 6 lines. They were letting 8 to 10 cars in from each line, but our line was only doing 4 cars at a time. So we ended up waiting over twice as long as other people who showed up at the same time! Also, they really moved the theme away from Christmas. About half the songs werent Christmas songs at all, and only one of them was any good (some Queen). All in all, I highly recommend the Tempe location based off my experience there a few years ago.Id skip the Glendale location. Its a mess every year and we have other shows on this side of town that are the same price and not nearly as frustrating to partake in.
My family had such an amazing time! The wait was not long at all. My family loved the snow that came out of the hat of the snowman and the 3D glasses were also super cool.
The only problem it was a long pause between songs. Some of the song music don’t think it’s in the Christmas spirit type of music. But other wise the lights and snow/bubbles were beautiful.
It was fantastic, our 9 month old grandson was mesmerized by all the lights, we were too. Thank you for a fantastic show.
This is a nice place to just have a drive thru with a world full of light and music. The theme is beautiful, setup is lovely. You need to connect to fm frequency through your car and and the light and music show will mesmerise you. A snowman showering some snow in between is the best part. One time visit is recommended
Worth the price. Great for kids. Didnt take too long to get in and had a bunch of lights.
We have attended the light show three years in a row. Every year has been different but this year was absolutely beautiful and the colors stand out being different from last year.
It was fun, but not as Christmas centric as I would have liked. But well done.
Very impressive light display. The music coordinated with the lights was fun. My 2 yr old grandson was with us. He loved it!
This was alot of fun for the kids and a reasonable price! I would definitely do this again next year!
With most of my torso out of the window, I had a much clearer view- Jeremy Clarkson
Amazing experience! It was our first time, we will definitely make it a anual tradition!
We went to the one in glendale.Me and my family pulled up like we have last year and the girl asked if we had a ticket and we didnt she told us to go to the right which took us all the way around and out we came back and told her it would have been nice if she told us information about having to need a online ticket instead of just kicking us out.She had an attitude when we brought that to her attention. Oh cant forget seeing santa taking a swig of his beer threw the fence. The next girl with the green hair had the worst attitude also just made us not even want to be there anymore and then when we left Santa did not wave at us completely ignored our car. A horrible way to end our Thanksgiving Feeling ripped off. Reply to owner: that doesnt change all the rest of the unprofessionalism.and our experience.would love a refund
Our friends from Weiser Id are here for thanksgiving and this the first place we took them. This was a great display of the Christmas lights.
Great show. audio sync awesome..staff great..polite helpful and always helping..
Great evening event! Everyone enjoyed it. Well organized. Got us into the holiday spirit.
Thank you so much it was amazing and what a great way the end our Thanksgiving Day
The lights and music were great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Good fun for the children they can even ride in the truck of a car
AMAZING FAMILY EVENT! MERRY CHRISTMAS
Fun family activity to be watching lights synchronized to the FM station. Getting out of your car is not allowed to keep the traffic moving and it was interesting to see kids bending that rule ;). Its AZ so hope for a cold day so you can enjoy that hot chocolate a bit more.Only entry is through Alameda way though GMaps takes you elsewhere.
Was not happy with the Tempe location experience for my 6 year old grandson at all. I was going slow as the cars ahead were at a dead stop so I went very slow during the snow display and the staff Shayla or Shela got very nasty in front of my grandson telling me to move even though the cars ahead were at a dead stop. She became argumentative so I got her name and moved on. The truck 2 vehicles behind me had their lights on so it was blinding me. Just not worth a 50.00 event. Some of the songs played were not even Holiday songs. I called customer service regarding this experience so we will see what they say.
Slow getting in but the lights were beautiful. Good job.
It was cool 2 drive though the lights. So many lights
I purchased a ticket for Monday night, but was unable to attend because my wife started to feel sick. I called multiple times and left a couple of voicemails trying to reschedule and was never able to reach anyone or receive a call back. My wife sent them a message on Instagram only for them to read the message and never respond. The message was marked as seen, but a response was never sent. During such difficult times for a lot of people it’s hard to believe that they would just be so careless and have absolutely no customer service with those who choose to attend their event. I would NEVER recommend a company that treats anyone as if they don’t matter. They took our money and although I understand that the ticket is non-refundable it does allow a rescheduling which is all we were trying to do. Seeing customers messages and deliberately ignoring them is the worst customer service! Don’t waste your time or money on them when there are many other companies who offer this same service and I doubt that they would treat their customers with the same carelessness.
Amazing light. Very organized the children had great time.
Getting in took a while, but it was worth the wait! Fun for the whole family!!
Super cool experience!! My sister took our kids last year to the one off the 17, so we wanted to try this one out. Found a Groupkn for $25 per vehicle so it was even more affordable. Concession stand Is at the beginning so you can get hot chocolate, water, cotton candy or kettle corn. Id say it took us about 30min to drive through it, it couldve been longer. We loved it though! Highly recommend it
Amazing light show set to Christmas songs! Great for families, or even seniors who still have a love of all things Christmas! You can get hot cocoa, caramel corn, at the drive through concession. You stay in your car for the whole time, oh! And there was a snow machine! Great entertainment!
A good place at first, long wait but i get it, its Christmas soon. It was interesting at the beginning but getw boring over time and gives you a headache.
Awesome for the holidays. Is gonna be a go to place every year!
Cant beat a GREAT PRICE for a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
Very well done. Pleasurable experience!
We loved it! Drive slow!!
Awesome light show!! Great for the whole family.
Wonderful experience. Great for family outing
Great music and outing! Highly recommend.
There isnt enough words to express the wonder of this experience. Driving through the show with your grown children (22 & 26) and seeing the magic of Christmas in their eyes again is beyond words. We are actually planning on attending again. The experience is not to be missed.
My kids and I loved all the lights!
Last years was better . This year you’re only able to go through 1x. Not worth $34
Beautiful and a safe event with covid.
A beautiful place and the lights go with the rhythm of the music.
The kids enjoyed the show and asked to go back!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! Beautiful light show, very well organized. Had the best time with my girls. They loved the Christmas playlist Loved it from start to finish. We will be back
Well organized and popular with the little man.
Great experience. Daughter loved it!
An amazing and fun experience for the whole family.
Not what we expected, had reservations at 9....was redirected by a sign and waited an hour and half to get in!!! This is Insane!! Why do we pay for reservations ???? ...should have separate entrances for those who reserve and those who pay as you go. Dolores i give u a 5 star girl!!! Thanks for that awesome attitude and that smile girl️
Really cool, drive could be a bit slower though!
The wait to get in was longer than the drive thru experience. I don’t know if they oversell the time slots or what, but it seems like they should be able to manage the traffic better. That being said the experience itself is wonderful! The lights and music are beautiful. Truly an audio visual masterpiece.
I enjoyed the lovely light display.
Amazing!!! Had a wonderful time with my wife.
Beautiful lights, nice to bring your family
It was worth the wait but you really need to purchase ahead or pay way more than its worth at the gate!!!I saw online it was $30 a car load... Figured that wasnt too much, but it was $40 when we got there and realized we should have bought tickets online!!! Groupon has a better deal.Waited in line for what seemed like forever but once inside it was beautiful and worth the wait... But a bit steep on the price.
Just beautiful. A fine way to spend a date night on a Wednesday night.Never give up the dream.
Very fun to watch. Just, dont buy the glasses !!!!! They charge $10.00 for them and they are practically useless.
This place is amazing. and a lot of people know that, so expect traffic! But there are so many different lights and animations that sync up with the music (that comes out of your cars radio speakers )so Be sure to keep your christmas spirit in check, and know its totally worth the wait!!! Happy holidays
Way better than I expected!
The light show was great. When driving thru be prepared for bumps. The bumps are the electrical wiring covered. Music on the radio 87.9 FM with lights give it a more Christmassy feeling. If you want better pricing for the weekend go to costco and buy your tickets there. If u are going on weekday Costco or groupon has deals.
